Important note: What I'm about to talk about is a highly sensitive topic and could be troubling or a trigger. So please, do not read if you will be hurt in any way.

Now, everyone clearly knows that I am a loyal fan of Kunj and have supported him in every manner possible. But today something happened that has made me sympathize with Twinkle.

I am talking specifically about her assault yesterday night. This morning, I went through an incident that was merely a fraction of what she has gone through.

In regards to Twinkle, she was drugged, is unsure of what who her attacker is, for what motive she was singled out and it happened in an isolated incident in the darkness.

In regards to me, I was conscious and aware of what was happening, I do not know who wronged me, why I was singled out, and the incident took place in broad public in a crowded bus, and in daylight.

She was unable to call for help because she was drugged. For a while, I was paralyzed and was unable to call for help because of the mass public. I did not wish to attract attention to myself and did not wish to point out that I was being harassed.

In both cases, we were wronged and touched without our permissions.

What is about men that gives them the courage to invade another's privacy and feel like they have the power to dominate over women?

What is it about women that makes them feel scared to fight for their dignity and basic human rights? Why are we born as submissive creatures and feel the need to succumb to the wishes of men?

I just need some help in getting through with this event. I am sorry that I brought this highly sensitive topic forward to you all, but I need all the insight that I can get to make it through this.

I totally agree with you no man whether you know him or not has any rights to touch you without your permission. Even if he is your husband or your would be husband. Twinkle is so ryt this time that she has stood up for herself and showed that she is brave who won't tolerate anything bas yehi mistake hai that the person she is blaming is wrong here. But she is ryt. I am proud of you that you have the strength to face this. But the way our society is treating woman needs to change. And this includes people like Manohar who abuse their wives or Yuvi who is using Twinkle for his selfish motives

You have my support dear. stay strong.
About why it happens? no we girls are not born to succumb, its society that has created a image that if a girl speaks out it means she is wrong which us the modern generation needs to rectify. women can fight for their own rights very well they just need little bit of confidence and boost of confidence that its ok to fight for ur rights.Would you believe that here in london there was an incident in our school but we prompted the girl to report to the administrators and we reported as witnesses yes our names were in a controversy where most backward people would say they r bigri hui girls so got embroiled in such a scandal but we stood stiff. we gathered girls from the whole school and got him expelled. The result of just a week of hard work was that a anonymous survey was conducted and there was a a high level of decrease in inappropriate behavior around the campus. The boys were warned. something like this needs to happen in India on a very big scale. only then such incidents would stop. I understand your situation to an extent about not wanting to attract attention. I know i might never be able to understand fully as i have never experienced such thing god forbid anyone eve has too.

take care dear. no need to be sorry.

You are so very right!! You know I think always that how beautiful this world would be if men and women were truly equal. I hate the fact that men think they are stronger than women and can do anything to women like harassing them. You have my support dear just stay strong. Its amazing that you came to write this Im sure you must be feeling little better. God bless!! Just stay happy positive and with your loved ones. May God punish that person who made you feel sad may God punish all men who do these kind of shameful acts.
And about the show I truly agree. Twinkle just said what she saw, she cant think now anything properly because she is hurt.

I can understand Kunj's situation and I am in no way blaming him for the way he is reacting. What I was referring to was about men in general.

Exactly. In her mind, Kunj has wronged her. Hence, her reaction towards him is solid and totally justified for me.

Society is the major catalyst in dishonoring a woman. As we all saw today, the incident that happened could have remained within the familial walls. But because of the media everyone's honor is now being questioned, family members are taking rash and illogical steps, and the kids are being forced to compromise with their lives.

Television is a medium that can help change people's mindsets but when they continuously show evil like Yuvi's revenge and Manohar's domination to win, it becomes extremely hard to do so.
