Why TMKOC still gets good TRPs ? - Page 2

Love it or Hate it you can't ignore TMKOC...This has become our daily stressbuster and go to show since the past decade...me a Mumbaikar being away from Home feel like I am living in Mumbai while watching the show..And yes I am not an illiterate if that is what you termed it..Working office going person. Me and my Husband watch only this show together. else he never watches daily soaps. This is the show we watch during our dinner time. Yes the dialogues are predictable but there is no buffonary unlike the comedy slapsticks..all characters are as real as it gets...Jethalal our most favourite is as cunning...as selfish as every other human but a heart of gold too. The festivals they celebrate makes us feel we are at home with all. Only thing that irks is when the celebrities come in the show. Yes the dialogues are predictable many times. But loved the recent episodes and can see the old charm. Feel like we all have grown old just like the characters in the show..Kids grown up...others getting old and older...there is subtle messages to the society in the episodes even now..how food and the one who cooks ( Mothers and Housewives) delicious food for us are taken for granted ..food and water are luxury for many even now. Love TMKOC our daily stressbuster and hope it goes on and on and all of our GD Vasiyons entertains us the way they have been doing. Each character have become a part of our Life and the absence of anyone really are missed.

That's because it is still better than other daily soaps. There's no saas bahu and saazish, no vamps or villains, no hero manhandling the heroine, etc. I mean if people can love shows like Kumkum Bhagya, YRKKH, YHM, etc., then this show is so much better than them.

Another reason is people are habituated to watch this. It's like a part of their lives now. My brother watches this show ever since it started and he never misses a single episode and even watches the repeats in weekends.

It's a very light hearted show and there's no other show like this on any channel.

I am not surprised that this show rules the trp charts. What surprises me the most is why only this show? I mean sab tv is making many such shows but why people watch only this show? I mean Tenali Rama and BDSAH that used to air earlier are better than this but still get so low trps.

The same way crap serials get to and remain in top 10 tmkc also has loyal followers that's why Ashit modi is repeating tracks and reduced standard . Tapusenu still not reached 12yh grade . Remember one track was where holi wants to become doctor . Guess he's doing bsc now. Also babita and Anjali are going to remain young forever without kids . In complete today's lot other sab tv shows after Tara's Mehta and Sony tv shows are much better . The comedy flavor is tenali Raman and saath phero ki hera pheri

tappu sena completed their 10 board in 2015 now it's 2018 don't know if they have completed 12 board or not never mentioned.

It has lot of loyal family viewers, who has nothing to watch at around that time. And it is far better then Saas-Bahu crap that we get on TV. Plus all the characters are very much attached to the middle class Indians. LIke Mehta always saying to Jetha that i have a boss whom i have to report, or Bhide who always value small things and find big happiness. Plus you can skip a track if you find it boring, and you are not losing the storyline.

Tappu & co completed 10 th in 2015, Gogi cleared his 10th in 2016, Gotia appeared for his 10th in 2017. Logically, Tapu sena should have cleared their 12 th in 2017 only but they are playing' Hum saath saath hai' so they cannot change their college.

who is Gotia? yes logically tappu sonu goli should have completed 12th in 2017 and gogi this year.but there is no mention about this thing.
