come back to watch this show again ?

It's so sad. There was a time when I watched this show regularly and enjoyed it too. Watched the older episodes too, was a regular member of this forum. But now maybe since last 8 months, I can't get to watch it.

Two days back tried to watch the show again and the first thing came on screen was Daya, Jetha doing garba in their home and Bhide, Sodhi, Hathi following them. 😔

Come on ! You can show us something different at least now Asit Modi ! Such a talented cast you have! Despite doing the same scenes and jokes for years and years, they do manage to bring a smile on your face in a rare scene. Can't you use them in better way?

8 years is a long time. People grow up. The priorities, likes, dislikes, situations all change but this show just refuses to change.

Has this show become a information source for Government's different schemes? Or maybe some people do need to be educated and this show manages to reach them as can be seen from TRPs. Which is fine too ! But do all the episodes have to preach ? Can the humour come back to the show without taking up social issues? Why can't Tappu sena's everyday struggles be shown without showing as super kids and unbearably sweet(Sonu)

Oh well! Sorry for ranting. I am not saying anything new. I tried, I really tried to come back to watch this show but

I too feel the same,Arti.

Nowadays TV has become so dull and boring. I try watching other shows but none of them interest me.

Finally I come back to tmkoc thinking that I may enjoy watching it after a long time but I am not able to watch it for more than 10 minutes.

I said in one of my posts earlier.If Asit modi is encouraging the changes that NaMo is making in the country, why can't he also bring change in his show?

Why can't he understand that good trps doesn't really mean people are enjoying the same old things that they are getting to watch from the past 8 years?They still don't have any choice.

Actually I have been noticing that even though the show is in top 10,but it keeps going down in the countdown. There was a time when it used to be in 3rd or 4th position for many weeks.Since last few weeks, it's position is dropping in the trp race.

That means it's slowly losing it's regular viewers.

I so wish it's trps fall even more so that we will finally get to see something new and fresh in the show.

The only change that AsMo brings in the show from time to time is giving new clothes to the actors every 6 months.😆

Thankfully,iss maamle mein he doesn't think that what if my show's trps will fall if I bring change in costumes.😆

Actually this show is doing well trps wise.The demonitization track fetched them good trps but overall,SNS,YRKKH,Naagin,transgender wala show,etc.,are doing better than tmkoc.

But this is not going to affect in any way because tmkoc is the only show on sab with trps more than 1 so asit modi will not bother about anything.His tension will rise only when another sab show gives tough competition to this show or gets more trps than tmkoc. And that's not going to happen at all so we are going to tolerate the same old crap for years.

Only a sab show can defeat tmkoc. If other sab shows will surpass tmkoc in trps race then only asit modi ko akal aayegi

U have a point.

Right now AsMo doesn't care other channels shows getting more trps than tmkoc because his show is ruling the channel for 8 years and he will be worried only when another sab show overthrows tmkoc from the throne.

Looks like even sab is not bothered about starting good comedy shows because it's hugely benefitting from tmkoc. I think if it shows only tmkoc and no other show then also it may benefit but for how long?

Shows like Kyunki and Kahaani have to bite the dust after many successful years because people got bored of them.

The fact that crappy shows are doing better than tmkoc itself is a proof that people got fed up of this show.

If Drashti's new show and Chandra Nandini will enter the top 10,tmkoc will go down even more.If many more new shows enter the list,it will be out of top 10.

That's going to be a major setback to the channel as well as the producer.

I feel this show may do well for probably another 2 years.After that,it's downfall will definitely start.

The problem is TRPs are still decent. They are still in top 10 so the show is not going anywhere, the cast also seems to be happy because really they don't have to struggle and are getting work. So what if they have to repeat the same scenes for years and years.

SAB TV has different economic calculation than channels like SP,colors so their profit calculations are different. Surely the show is in profit so nothing can be expected to change.

My fear is when we will get old and our grandchildren will be still watching the show and Popatlal might be still looking for a bride then. And Babita could still be saying "Jethaji aap bhi na' then

Sometimes I too feel our grandchildren ke time pe bhi this show would be there but do u really think we indians have so much patience to watch daya's garba,jetha's flirting, popat's desperation for marriage,champak's bullying,tapu sena's extraordinary behavior, same old scenes,tracks,dialogues,etc.,for another 10-20 years?
