@Nyna: If prayers work then I assure you GRRM will finish his work 😆 millions (and this is not even an exaggeration) pray daily that he completes those books 😆 and he has told the ending to his editors, so either way we get to know his vision though ofc even i would prefer to read it in his words than someone else's

And anyways you can go ahead and watch the show. It won't spoil you on the books since other than a few points the show is a world of its own (especially after s3) quite unrelated to the books in any way. Like, how our mythological shows are, rough plot and character names are same, rest its a world of their own with no relation to the original 😆 😆 though if u ask me i would strongly advise you to read the books and if u have nothing better to do then watch the show... Just my opinion ofc

I really really really wish he gets around to writing out the books, mine is a case of "once bitten twice shy" I faced this with the Wheel of Time series, when Robert Jordan died and Brandon Sanderson was picked to complete the final book (which he split into three volumes). Now as I have often raved over it, Brandon Sanderson is a good writer, but then nothing beats a series being written completely by the original writer. The ending was written by Jordan himself but by the time it came to us readers, it was a let down. Somehow, in spite of the detailed notes the flow was missing.

And no I will not watch the show - I tried it with the Harry Potter series - first movie and I was like, wait a minute, you cut that scene😡 and that too and that. Not good for my sanity or my mind. I have realised that this is an accurate representation between the book and the movie:

The only exception was LOTR - not that the movie has some parts missing but is was brilliantly made and quite long so guess quite a bit of the tale was retained.

So I will wait for books to be written.

First of all, sorry for being late again. I no longer log in regularly to IF and so missed the right timing. I hope you had an amazing birthday.

I have known you mostly through IF, our mutual admiration of SwaSan and mathematics, and I have no doubt that you are one the amazing people I know. I have said it before, and I say again, even though I did not express my views on your stories due to some unavoidable reasons (My career is taking a major shift during the last eight months. I hardly find time to eat and sleep), I love your SwaSan stories absolutely. They make me believe in love stories all over again, just like our SwaSan did (prior to that I thought happy ending love stories are fiction). I am always amazed at the efforts you put in the background of the story and make it more real, which can be seen in the footnotes of your work.. and I was sad to read that you would no longer post them at the forum. But, I don't think I should hold you back when I cannot do justice to your hard work by expressing how it made me believe in SwaSan and their love, whatever the reason for not expressing. The best part about our friendship is that you never take my late-lateef ness to your heart.

Dear Nyna, you are one of the most positive and compassionate souls I have ever come across and I wish you stay the same always. May you find all the happiness in the world.

The best part about belated wishes is that it translates to an extended birthday, so you do not have to feel sorry being late, in fact you have ensured that I can celebrate my birthday today also😳😳

Regarding my stories, I love it that they make you believe in love and happy endings, for that is exactly what I want everyone to believe, despite me having a lot of personal downs and a few professional setbacks, I want to believe in love stories, even if I do not stand a chance at having one. So it makes me very happy that my stories help you believe.

Career and professional work can be tiring, so focus on your health, that is a priority. I will be around here for quite some more time😊

And no, I am not going to stop posting in IF, I will continue to do so, I just wanted to take a break from posting the second book, I keep writing it but then I do it at a slower pace. I will start posting book 2 once I finalise the outline and write out the first two chapters in entirety. For the time being, I am taking a break from posting. I know I did become petulant but then writing is addictive, I have to keep writing (now you know why I am rambling😆), so I will continue to write and continue to post. But if the Mods decide to close down this forum due to inactivity then I will pull down / have them transferred to another forum. So as of now, the stories remain here.

Take care of your health, career and your life. Me and my stories are going to be around for some time.
