Chapter: 12

1 year later

Sanskar and Swara were superstars now. Sanskar had purchased the most expensive bungalow in Mumbai and he was living a lavish and luxurious life

He had totally forgotten about his past life...his struggles...his true friends...his daily routine of waking up Swara...infact he had forgotten his best friend or it would be more correct to state that he might only remember her name and that too just because she was a top actress

After that party Sanskar got loads of good offers and he was totally carried away by stardom to such an extent that he left his flat which he used to share with Swara the very next day and that too without informing her

He just left a note which read "The world is small we may meet again. Bye"

He didn't even give Swara an opportunity to capture his face for one last time properly

The first thing that Swara did was to purchase the flat which both of them use to share; she considered it as the last sign of Sanskar which would keep their memories alive throughout her life

She used to visit that flat whenever she missed him

As the days passed by Swara continued to kiss the sky of success but she always remained grounded and never allowed the superstar status to change her innocent and selfless nature

Prem and Adi were always there by her side but she still felt incomplete as Sanskar was so much lost in his new lifestyle that he had completly removed Swara from his life

His selfish nature had changed him completly and Naintara played her tricks well to make Sanskar walk according to her wishes

Today was a special day for Swara and she was not alone but yet she was incomplete

There were loads of people who were showering her with gifts and blessings but her eyes were busy searching for that one priceless gift...A YELLOW ROSE

Swara:

[The past moments of my life were truely my paradise

The path of thorns on which I used to walk were in true sense the carpet of roses of my life

I was happy in my sorrows then why did u bestow the curse of happiness on me?

O Almighty, am I that bad that u brought the entire world beneath my feet but took my breath away from me?

Pity me O lord and give me back the sparkling light of my eyes which has gone away from me

Bless me in such a way that I can capture the glow of his face in my eyes before shutting them permanently]

A lone tear escaped her eyes

She stood there like a statue when all of a sudden a beautiful Orange Rose welcomed her eyes

She turned around and was greeted by her dear friend Prem

Prem: Happy Birthday Swara budhape ki taraf ek aur kadam badanepar mubarakho [Happy Birthday Swara; Congratulations on taking another step towards getting old]

Swara hit him on his arm and happily accepted the rose

Swara: Prem ek baat batau tumne mujhe ye orange rose kyun diya? [Prem tell me one thing why did u give me this orange rose?]

Prem: Red aur Yellow ko milaya toh bantha hai Orange ab Red issliye kyunki main tumse pyar karta hoon aur Yellow issliye kyunki mere liye tumhari dosti se badhkar aur kuch nahi hai [If u mix Red with Yellow u will get an orange color; Red is important because I love u but Yellow is more important as nothing matters to me more than your friendship]

Swara: Prem...

Prem: Khabardaar ab dubara sorry kaha toh main jaanta hoon k Sanskar tumhari zindagi hai aur main yahi dua karta hoon k tumhe ek na ek din apni zindagi mil jaaye [Dare if u say sorry once again I am aware that Sanskar is your life and I hope that u get your life back very soon]

Swara: Kaash ek baar unse mulakat ho jaaye [I hope to meet him atleast once]

Before Prem could give an answer Ramu kaka interupped their conversation

Ramu kaka: Swara bete aapse milne k liye Director saahab aaye hai [Swara there is a director who wants to meet u]

Swara: Kaka unhe baitne ko kahiye main abhi aayi [Uncle tell him to sit I will come within few minutes]

Ramu: Ji bete [Ok]

Swara and Prem go to meet the director

The director narrates a script to Swara. The script had so much potential in it that it was a sure shot hit

Swara signed the movie immediately

After sometime the Director left. Prem and Swara go to have their breakfast

The Director goes to meet Sanskar.

Sanskar too could not stop himself from declining the project without asking the director the name of the lead actress Sanskar signed the movie

After the formalities were over

Sanskar: Waise mere opposite kaunsi actress kaam karnewali hai? Wo mere status ki toh haina? [By the way which actress is going to act opposite me I hope she is worth my status]

Director: Aap unka naam sunenge toh bahut khush ho jaayenge aapki actress Swara hai jo aapki best friend hai aur aapne apni pehli hit movie bhi unhi k saath di thi [U will b pleased to know that the actress of this movie is Swara your best friend and the lady with whom u gave your first official hit]

Sanskar: Swara...

Sanskar was lost in that one name for a second he changed into the same old Sanskar who was the best friend of Swara but this realization did not last for a long time

Director: Okay Sir ab main chaltha hoon [Okay Sir I'll take your leave now]

The director informs Swara that he had signed Sanskar as the lead for the movie

Swara was really happy finally God had fulfilled her wish she was going to meet her Sanskar...

Naintara had gone abroad for the shooting of her film hence she was not aware that Sanskar had signed a movie opposite Swara once again

Naintara was extremely jealous of Swara as she could read the unconditional and true love for Sanskar in Swara's eyes hence she always made sure that Sanskar never signed a movie with Swara as Sanskar was a trump card for her and she didn't want to take any risk as long as he was famous

But no one can challenge the decisions of Destiny; Destiny was going to play a very big game with Sanskar and Swara by using this movie as a weapon

With the first day of the shooting Destiny had started its game

Swara was going through a mixture of emotions she was happy with the thought that she was going to meet her Sanskar but at the same time she was scared what if he breaks her heart once again by telling her that he does not remember her

Sanskar comes to the shooting. Swara's eyes got transfixed on Sanskar as soon as he made an entry

He was still the same yet he was so different

Swara was standing there like a statue and was trying to capture Sanskar's face in her eyes permanently

Sanskar turned around and noticed Swara

For unknown reasons he could not stop himself from approaching Swara

Swara's heart started beating rapidly with every step that Sanskar took

Finally Sanskar and Swara were face to face

Sanskar: Hum kafi dino baad mile hai haina? [We have met after many days isn't it?]

Sanskar: Wow Swara tumhari Maths kafi achhi hai [Wow Swara u r really good in Maths]

Swara felt a pain in her heart Sanskar was behaving so indifferently

She realized that Sanskar never missed her even once during the past year it was she who was dying to get a small glimpse of her friend

Sanskar: Aise kya dekh rahi ho? [Why r u looking at me like this?]

Swara: Ek baat puchu Sanskar jaane se pehle tumne mujhse ek baar baat kyun nahi ki? [Sanskar can I ask u something before leaving me why didn't u talk to me once?]

Sanskar: Ofho Swara tum soh rahi thi aur main tumhari neend kharab nahi karna chahtha tha aur waise bhi wo note choda toh tha maine utna kaafi tha tumhe inform karne k liye [Oh Swara u were sleeping at that moment and I didn't want to disturb u that's why I left that note and I feel that was enough to inform u]

Swara: Kya wakai mein wo note kaafi tha? [Was that note really enough?]

Sanskar: Ye kaisa stupid sawal hai Swara tum toh aise bol raho ho jaise k mujhse ek pal ki judai bhi tumse bardaash nahi hothi haha lagta hai film industry mein rehkar kafi emotional baate karna seekh chuki ho be practical yaar life mein humesha success ka saath doh uss chothe se flat mein mere liye rakha hi kya tha k main waha rukh jaata mujhe toh din bhar din ghutan hothi thi waha ab jaisi hi kismat ne mauka diya maine apni batkismati par peethkarke chala aaya [What a stupid question Swara u r speaking in a way as if u can't tolerate even a moment's distance from me I should say u have been greatly influenced by the film industry as u have mastered the act of speaking emotional dialogues. Learn to be practical Swara you should always walk with success look it is very simple as soon as I got a chance to move away from that small flat I turned my back towards my bad memories and walked away from there. Oh God I used to feel suffocated in that flat]

Swara: (thinking)

"Umeed thi hume k aapse milkar unn guzre lamho ki kashish taaza hogi

Aapki khushbooyon se humare dhundle aks ki gumshuda roshni phir se ujaagar hogi

[I had a hope after meeting u maybe all our past moments may come come alive

Only if u could have the ability to read my wet eyes then maybe directly or indirectly u could have ended up healing all my pains]

Sanskar: Kya hua kya soch rahi ho? [Where r u lost?]

But before Swara could answer the Director called them as they were ready to take the shot

Sanskar: Chalo Swara ab phir se kaam karne mein maza aayega [Common Swara it would be fun working together again]

Sanskar goes away. Swara looked at the sky to find an answer to her endless questions

She lowered her gaze as she was not getting any reply but she was unaware that something is going to happen in the future which would change her entire life

Both of them start the shooting

All the Swasan fans were extremely happy as finally their favourite couple were working together again

The days continued to pass

One fine day the media got to know that Swasan would be shooting a wedding sequence for their movie and many of the big TV channels and leading newspapers tried to cover this shooting

Swara was looking like a perfect bride and Sanskar was looking like a perfect match for Swara

Director: Shaam wo Pandit ka role karnewala artist abhi tak aaya kyun nahi mujhe ye scene aaj hi shoot karna hai jau usse dhundkar lao [Shaam where is the artist who was going to play the role of the Pandit go and get him right now I need to shoot this scene today itself]

Shaam: Abhi dhoodkar laata hoon [I'll just get him]

Shaam goes to search the artist who was portraying the role of the Pandit

A man who had dressed as a Pandit was passing from there

Shaam: Isse dekho ye yaha waha ghoom raha hai aur Director saahab mujhse sawal kar rahe hai [Just look at this man roaming here and there because of him the shooting is at a halt and he is least bothered]

Shaam: Hello shadi nahi karwani hai kya? [Hello won't u conduct the marriage?]

Pandit: Ji wahi karwane jaa rahe hai [I am on my way to do the same]

Shaam: Shaadi waha nahi yaha ho rahi hai chalo aur jaldi se apna kaam khatam karo tumhare wajah se mujhe gaaliyan padh rahi hai [Marriage is taking place over here come with me and finish your job fast I am getting scold unnecessarily because of u]

Pandit: Par..[But]

Shaam: Par war kuch nahi tum chalo mere saath [I don't want to hear anything just come with me]

Shaam takes the Pandit with him

As soon as the director sees him he makes him sit on the madap and orders him to start the rituals

The Pandit starts chanting the mantras. The entire media was covering this shoot

Sanskar puts mangalsutra and applies the sindoor on Swara's forehead. Both of them start taking the pheras as the 7th phera was over a man was seen running towards shaam he had also worn the costumes of the Pandit

Man: Are ye role toh main karnewala tha ye dusra pandit kaha se pakad laaye [I was supposed to do this role from where did u get this 2nd Pandit?]

Shaam: Kya? Agar tu wo actor hai toh wo aadmi kaun hai? [What? If u r the actor then who is that man?]

Pandit: Vivah samparn hua aaj se aap vidhipurvak pati patni hai [The marriage is over from today both of u r legally husband and wife]

Shaam was scared

Shaam: Ek minute tum kaun ho humara actor toh yaha hai? [Wait a minut who r u our actor is standing over here?]

Pandit: Hum koi kalakar nahi hai hum toh Pandit hai aur hum logo ka vivah karwathe hai bilkul waise hi jaise humne inn do bachho ka vivha karwaya hai [I am not an actor I am a Pandit who conducts marriages exactly in a way as I have conducted the marriage of these two children]

The entire unit and Media people were shocked.

Yes this was the game destiny had played Swasan were now married and Swara was now Mrs. Sanskar Singh Khurana

The entire unit and media people were shocked

Yes this was the game destiny had played Swasan were now married and Swara was now Mrs. Sanskar Singh Khurana

Sanskar and Swara looked at each other with utter disbelief.

Sanskar's eyes were burning in anger he gave disgusting looks to Swara as if she was the reason behind this incident

Swara could never tolerate his hatred she ran to her dressing room immediately as she feared losing control over her emotions

Sanskar walked to his vanity van as he too was not sure how this situation should be handled

The entire crew tried to hide from the media but this was a great breaking news for the Media people how could they leave this situation as it is?

In a matter of seconds the media publicized this incident and the entire country was aware of this truth

They went on showing the pictures and video footage of Swasan's marriage and started gaining TRPs

Swasan fans were extremely happy and started celebrating this occasion as their dream of seeing Swasan as a real life couple was now fulfilled

Sanskar switched his TV set and started following the news

He was observing every headline and every reaction intently something was going on in his mind

Meanwhile,

Swara: Ye aapne kya kar diya babaji? Kyun kiya aapne aisa? [What did u do Oh Almighty? Why did this incident take place?]

Swara: Main jaanti hoon wo mujhe kabhi apnayenge nahi par humari shadi bhale hi ajeeb halatho mein hui hai par mere liye toh ye mere jeewan ka sabse bada sach hai. Ye kaisi kashmash hai yahi toh sapna tha mera k ek din main unki ardhangini kehlau par kyun iss dil ko sukoon nahi mil raha kyun mera dil bechain hai [I am aware he will never accept me; I agree our marriage was accidental but this is the biggest truth of my life how can I ignore it? Swara was scared. She felt as if someone had snatched her breath away

Swara: (thinking) Sanskar press conference mein kya kahenge? Babaji kahi wo sabke saamne ye na kehde k wo mujhse nafrat karte hai main unki nafrat seh nahi paayungi main tuth jaayungi Babaji main bhikar jaayungi [What will Sanskar speak in the press conference would he openly admit that he hates me? No Babaji I won't be able to tolerate his rejection and hatred I would be shattered and broken completly]

Shaam: Chaliye Mam [Lets go Mam]

Swara: Hmm... [Yes]

For the first time in her life Swara was feeling nervous; she wanted to run away and hide herself somewhere

She was taking small steps and was trying hard to avoid the press

All the cameras were covering this event from every angle and all the Swasan fans were glued to their TV sets in excitement

Swara made herself comfortable on a chair

Sanskar: Director saahab main kuch bolna chahtha hoon [Sir let me talk]

The director nodded his head and Sanskar took over the proceedings

Swara started sweating badly

Sanskar: Haan ye sach hai k meri aur Swara ki shaddi ho chuki hai par isse bhi bada ek aur sach hai jo aap sab ka janna behet zaruri hai [Yes this is the truth that we r married now but there is another truth which each one of u should be aware of]

Swara's hands started trembling

Swara: (thinking) Main jaanti hoon Sanskar aap yahi kahoge k aapki zindagi mein meri koi jagah nahi aap mujhse nafrat karte ho aur iss shaadi ko maanne se inkaar karte ho [I am aware what u want to say; u will state that u hate me and I have no place in your life and u do not believe in this marriage]

Sanskar: Humari shaadi badi hi ajeeb haalat mein hui hai aur aap sab humara faisla janna chahte honge haina? [Our marriage took place in very strange circumstances and each one of u might want to hear our decision right?]

The media people nodded their head in approval

Sanskar: Swara ka faisla kya hoga ye main nahi jaanta par mera faisla main issi waqt aap sabke saamne bayan karne jaa raha hoon [I am not sure about Swara's decision but I am going to announce my decision in front of u right now]

Swara closed her eyes as she could see her horrible dream turning into a reality

Sanskar: Swara meri sabse achhi dost hai aur usne har haalat mein mera saath diya jab main kuch bhi nahi tha ek mamuli aadmi tha tab bhi mera haath khamkar wo chalthi rahi mera saaya bankar [Swara is my best friend she stood by me when I was an ordinary man; in every good and bad phase of my life she walked with me holding my hands like my shadow]

Swara opened her eyes as she could not understand what Sanskar was trying to say

Sanskar: Kehthe hai aise bade hi kum khusnaseeb insaan hothe hai jine ek aisa humsafar mile jo uske rag rag se wakhif ho aur usse sirf apne khoobiyon k saath nahi balki khamiyon k saath bhi apnaye [Many people say that there r very few lucky individuals who get a lifepartner who not only accepts him with his good qualities but also embraces his bad qualities as well]

Sanskar: Mujhe lagta hai k main unn chann khushnaseeb insaano mein se hoon warna aaj takdeer hume aise modh par nahi la khada karti [I think I am that lucky individual otherwise destiny would have never played this game with us]

Swara was totally confused

Sanskar: Humari shadi chahe ajeeb halatho mein hui ho par main jaanta hoon Swara k liye shadi k kya maiyne hai aur sach kahu toh main kudrat k iss faisle ko manne ko taiyaar hoon [Our marriage might have taken place in strange circumstances but I am ready to accept this decision of destiny. I am ready to give a try to this marriage]

Sanskar took Swara's hand in his and made requested her to stand

As soon as she stood up Sanskar went on his knees and bowed his head

Sanskar: Swara main jaanta hoon aaj jo hua wo hum dono k soch k pare tha par kehthe haina jo hotha hai wo achhe k liye hi hotha hai toh kyun na hum apne iss naye rishte ko ek mauka de? Dosti se buna hua humara iss rishte ko mohhabbat k pehle kadam ki aur badaye? [Swara I know whatever took place was beyond our control but there is a saying that whatever happens is for the best so why don't we give a chance to this new relationship of ours? Why don't we try to convert our friendship into a beautiful bond of love?]

Swara had tears in her eyes as for the first time in her life her dreams were turning into a reality

Sanskar: Swara kya tum meri ardhangini bankar mere jeewan ko khushiyon k phoolo se sajayogi? [Swara will u decorates my life with the flowers of happiness by becoming my soulmate?]

Swara: Swara toh humesha se hi aapki thi Sanskar aur uspar humeahs hi aapki ka haq hoga [Swara belonged to u Sanskar and she will remain yours forever]

Sanskar took Swara in his protective embrace

Sanskar: I love u Mrs. Khurana

A lone tear of happiness escaped from her eyes

Swara: I love u too Sanskar

All the media people started applauding in happiness

Chapter: 15

Everyone was very happy with the outcome of this incident

Sanskar requested the director to cancel the day's shoot as he wanted to spend some time with his wife

Like a true gentleman Sanskar held the hand of his lady and walked towards his car; he opened the door and requested her to get into the car

The media people were trying to capture the minutest detail of all the proceedings

Sanskar got into the car and ordered the driver to direct the car towards his bungalow

Swara's heart was dancing in joy she was still trying to live this moment as she was afraid that it might turn out to be a dream and all her aspirations would once again get washed away

As she was lost in her thoughts Sanskar placed his hand lovingly on top of her hand and started caressing it

She felt shivers running down her entire body

Swara looked into the eyes of Sanskar and could find love and happiness in those eyes

Sanskar placed a kiss on her hand; this small act of Sanskar gave a new life to Swara she lowered her gaze and her cheeks turned into a crimson red shade

Swara knew Sanskar was busy admiring her and this realization was not allowing Swara to stop her innocent and sweet act of blushing

Swara: (thinking) Mrs. Swara Sanskar Singh Khurana... kabhi socha nahi tha k main puri diniya k saamne iss naam se jaani jayungi kitna perfect lagta hai ye naam sach toh ye hai k ab tak mera astitva adhura tha par aaj Sanskar ka saath milnepar mujhe ek nayi anokhi pehchaan mil gayi hai [Mrs. Swara Sanskar Singh Khurana... I never thought that oneday this world would call me with this name... it sounds so perfect it seems that my personality was incomplete till today and Sanskar has completed me by making me an integral part of his life... he has given me a new unique identity]

Throughout the journey Sanskar was silent but he kept on reading the facial expressions and body language of Swara.

Most of the time Swara was busy thanking her Babaji but in-between she tried to steal glances of her husband and every time she used to be caught as Sanskar was constantly busy admiring her innocent side

As the distance towards her new destination was reducing her heartbeats started increasing as she was busy thinking about the incidents that would take place once they go to their house

She knew that her formal Gharpravesh won't occur but her heart was content with this simple thought that she would take the first step towards her blissful life by holding her Sanskar's hand
