Dear Sharon,
Yes, I was the first to res - and hopefully not the last to unres, though it would not be much of a surprise considering my track record.
Chapter 4 - magical all the way, and the way you have characterised Swara here - practical with a wry sense of humour - makes it all the more interesting to read. Each line captivates and it is difficult to pick out what exactly leaps to the eye, or the mind in this case.
Somehow the MSI building gave me a very "Grimmauld Place " vibes (it a good way) obviously no one could see it as it was under an enchantment of sorts. And Swara feeling like Alice in wonderland (one of my favourite books, I am waiting till my nephew is old enough to be read to, and this is one of the books on the list - even if he cannot understand most of it, the poems are a good start😆😆)
And her reaction to what she was seeing - "I am counting the chairs as the sitters crossed the limits of defining" - not scared but sarcastic. And then her reaction to being told that she has no magic in her - quite true - all of us hope and wish to have some magic in us - something that would make us enchanting to some people.
Sanskaar conjuring coffee - do I need to say more
So Swara the non magic person, whose ordinariness is her chief attraction, will step into the magical world. Cannot wait
Best,
Nyna
