~ Black and White ~
Laskh POV-
Swara lost her consious at the bar counter. Me and Ragini finally managed to throw the glass of alcohol and somehow took her out. On the empty road we were still 45 minutes from our place.
"Ragini we need to take her to a clinic now." I said while helping Ragini take Swara's head in her lap as she sat on a bench nearby.I rushed to take my car close to them. We had parked it at some distance unknown to the current events. Running by the roads I wished to ask someone about the nearest doctor so as to help Swara atleast gain consious. Alas, the road seemed completely empty. I ignited the engine of my car and hurriedly drove it towards the bench. I was near to the bench when I saw a man in a black hood jacket. His eyes were glued to his phone. I immediately moved out of my car and paced in his direction. Before I could reach he seemed to have noticed me he covered his face more and dug his hand in his pockets and began pacing hastily in the other direction. I began running.
"EXCUSE ME" I shouted but he ignored. I couldn't risk it I again tried.
"Hello!!! EXCUSE ME.. Hello" he didn't stop.
He halted at a distance n turned a little to me.
"My sister in Law is pregnant, she is consious; it's an emergency please." I requested.
He suddenly turned to me n quickly began pacing towards me.
"Do you know a doctor near by ?" I asked, he suddenly began running towards me. I was perplexed.
He almost killed the gap between us and gripped my arms.
"ARE YOU SERIOUS?" He spoke in a familiar voice.
My body felt numbing sensation in my body.
"Sanskaar..." I wisphered.
In no time his hood was down. I couldn't see anything anyfurther, moisture welled up in my eyes bluring my vision. I just threw my arms around him. He responded after a few seconds.
"Bhai,Where is Swara?" He quizzed in my ear softly.
I pointed to the bench nearby. He ran there and lifted her up. I turned the car n reached close to him. I could register the the shock on Ragini's face. She sat with me on the front seat and Sanskaar sat behind us with an unconsious Swara.
"How did it Happen??" He quizzed
"S.. she was in the bar n perhaps there... " Ragini tried explaining him.
"Did she consume alcohol?" He cut her
"NOPE" I assured. "You tell her some doctor near by"
"Straight and left" It's Mrs. Gupta's clinic.
I nodded and In no time we reached there. Swara was immediately taken care off by her and her nurses. She said it was just stress, she prescribed us medicines and asked us to let Swara rest. Sanskaar called his driver he lifted Swara up in his arms and she made rest in the back seat of my car, in Ragini's lap. He began to go when I halted him.
L- Sanskaar!! Where are you going?
Sa- Going back to my sister Uttara and mom two people who need me the most.
L- sister .. Uttara who??
Sa- The girl I supposingly molested.
L- is she with you?
Sa- yes. Swara is independent and free she doesn't need me but they do so I am going.
L- Sanskaar I know you are angry at Swara but don't punish your unborn baby, he or she will need a father's love.
Sa- its her child not mine!!
I fell numb. I wasn't going to give up here , Sanskaar began to move. When suddenly Swara held her hand. I was dumb struck. Water in her eyes clearly showed that she heard what he said. Sanskaar turned to him.His eyes had water too, I could feel his pain. Swara was weak and feeble at this moment, she had just gained consious. She moved to him. Her eyes had a pearcing pain.
Sw- Sanskaar Ji do to also think that this child is illegitimate. It's not ours. It's the result of my shameless extra marital affairs.
HSE gazed deep into his eyes.
Sw- Say na Sanskaar Do you think like everyone else does??
Sa- when you did not believe me why should I do
He replied in a shaky wet voice. He didn't meant what he said.
Sw- Because you said you love me, and love is caring about someone even when you are angry.
Sanskaar moved closer to her and embraced her.
Sa- I know this child is mine but now you have to make a compromise..
He almost wisphered in her ear n broke the hug.
Sa- Swara either this child is mine or yours. Did you sign the divorce papers.
Sw- N.. No.. Sanskaar.. I am.. s.. sorry.
Sa-(cuts) shh.. it's late; too late. If this child is mine then give it to me and leave.
Her face turned pale and lost the little color it had.
Sw-(eyes brimming with tears) Sans..kaar..
He didn't utter a word but held her hand and pulled her along. He opened the gate and made her sit inside. Swara was like a lifeless body, registering all the shock. He turned to me.
Sa- Bhai I am taking her with me. Tell everyone not worry.
R- NO buddy does.
Ragini cut in between with a painful voice. She made him aware about the truth of the pain Swara was bearing. His eyes immediately lost their rage and were dripping pain out with tears. He blinked to hide them.
R- Sanskaar, I know Swara did wrong but it was just a misunderstanding. Atleast forgive her for the sake of this child. Pls..
Sanskaar turned towards Swara. She too lifted her eyes. Their eyes met and turned into a painful eyelock.
Sa- NO FORGIVENESS for her Bhabhi. No, Things between us were over long back, she is nothing to me and REMEMBER Swara it all began because of me and I will end it for sure.
R- Pls Sanskaar it had been already too much. Maa keeps on taunting her. She is already going through a lot. Don't add more to her Pain. Pls.
Sa- no I promise I won't hurt her, atleast you and Bhai trust me.
R- We trust you.
L- Sanskaar pls come back for chachu.
Sa- He is no one to me and my mom.
L- Sanskaar.. what r u saying?
Sa- Truth..
I tried speaking more when he showed his hand and sat in his car the driver ignited the engine and his car Vanished from our sight. Me and Ragini too left for our place. Wishing that the differences between Swara and Sanskaar will be eliminated shortly. We prayed that that last be blossom again.
