Unres, as my 4000th post (Can't believe it!🥳)
Viji dearest,🤗
You have no idea how good it feels to have you back on the forum with one of your tremendously wonderful writings penned on SwaSan. It feels like some old friend from a lost time has returned with chests full of treasures from a far away land...you can imagine, the effect is magical.😳
The center you've chosen, my favorite time of the year, the monsoon! And the sheer evocative quality of your writing casts an image around as one sits to read where the cold wind engulfs you slowly, filling your ears with the soft tip top of lazy rain drops, the flowers so fragile against the downpour laying beneath the trees, the trees dancing with glee at the kiss of rain...felt like I was standing in my garden, getting drenched in that rain, so calm and soothing.
Here Sanskar stands on the balcony, overlooking the sweet rainy season unfolding in front of him, his mind on their past (The tent days...and magical Swasan!) and then on his efforts of the previous days and Swara's response to them. The words wave seamlessly with each other in to a tightly knit image of deep emotions...like your writing always does. I so missed this.
Okay I confess, I was wary of Kissan, but if it is anything like this, I'm all in for it! The way he skillfully makes Swara play the songs that had marked some beautiful moment between them in the times gone by and the way she tries...almost desperately, to stretch out and grab that fainting away memory...it was so poignant. And the songs handpicked by Sanskar are just awesome.
Pyaar hua, ekraar hua huh? That's one of my favorite numbers on guitar. No wonder Swara likes it and so does Sanskar. That tune is perfect magic when you play it on the echoing strings of a guitar than any other instrument. The deep tones, and the powerful sound just gives out of worldly feeling to the notes filling around you. Awesome choice!
Then Mr. Deadwood. What has he suggested to Swara, to which she shakes her head gently and steps away? 😡He is so dead anyway. 🤢Sanskar just noticed him! I was grinning like a fool reading how Sanskar's expression changed here, to the steely Sanskar Maheshwari from the broken one. He is so going to make Mr. Wood pay. Just can't wait for that.😈
Then the last eye lock. ❤️Just enough to erace the pain of the past few days...weeks perhaps? And fill him with hope. She is melting isn't she? She has to, when someone is loving her so truly and deeply.
What can I say, for how fulfilling a read it had been. The words flowing around me, creating images with skillful strokes and wonderful phrases...thank you, thank you so much for this. It has truly been a beyond words experience.🤗
Love you loads,
Saku
viji 🤗Where do I startThe titile ..the staring two paragraphs where you have baeutifully penned down the arrival of rain ..Never thought reading about rain would be this beautiful and then comes darlin sanskaar .reminscing the memories ..Viji I totally love how you pick swasan scenes from SR and their placement is so so apt
Thanks a ton, Lucky sweetheart. 🤗 🤗 I just LOVE the Monsoon, and wanted to write a petrichor themed one on our Golden couple. 😉 😊 It really is beautiful, watching how rain literally transforms the landscape.
But poor Sanskaar, he isn't able to soak in the beauty of the surroundings---he is lost in memories of the time from the previous monsoon, when the foundation to his and Swara's lovely relationship was laid. The bond of trust and faith between them.
I do love to pick up some of my favorite scenes from the serial, and introduce them in a different setting in my fics. 😊 So touched that you liked that so much; and am completely soaring at your feeling that I manage to this in an apt manner. 🤗 🤗Hints of RBNBJ..Swara partner..lol. it was fun and kissan didnt even make ab entry..I am getting to read so much on him ..I am lovin it ..and the songs ..connecting over music which has been swara's first love .Loved how he tried to remind her .. ahh those dialogues ..on Dua during helicopter ride ..you took me back to those golden days and that song pyaar hua and reference of ye rat bheegi bheegi .. I think we have similar taste in music 😊..I love that song ..how well it fits swasan ka current scenario and of course pyaar hua ek raar hua one more diamond
To Tell you the truth, I didn't like RNBDJ much. I didn't like the aspect of Tanni falling in love with Raj, and then choosing to stay with Suri Ji out of duty or obligation, rather than true love. That's why, though I kinda/sorta referenced the movie with "Swara Partner" 😆---after all, Kissan is such a wannabe, he might walk around quoting those movie terms!!---I consciously stayed away from Swara developing a romantic attachment towards Kissan. He is just helping her regain those lose memories she has of her love for Sanskaar, that's it.
I LOVE those songs, and yup, we certainly have a similar taste in music. Sigh...those golden oldies are spectacular, and even songs from the 90's like Saajan, Aashiqui, Dil, Beta, Dil Hai ke Maanta Nahin etc, are so lovely, na?
I did think that Kissan gently guiding Swara to regain her memories, persuading her through hints and pointers to what she had shared with Sanskaar; would probably work better than any abrupt or drastic step.
And that dua and kismat dialogue from the first date episode was just magical. So very poignant and beautiful...😳I was thinking ki swara will remember bit it was pleasant surprise and loved the poiint you have ended the OS..Cant help but think of this linesEk halki si muskaan pe jo Sapnon ka jahan aabaad kareKyu aag si lagake ghumsum hain chandiniTune bhi nahi dekha mausam ka ye ishaaraand that last part of red earth and pouring rain 👏and yay ..my foreign language classes restarted
Oh yes, that line from Yeh Raat Bheegi Bheegi is awesome, too. Again, very apt for SwaaSan.
Aise Mein Kahin, Kya Koi Nahin
Bhoole Se Jo Humko Yaad Kare
Ek Halki Si, Muskaan Se Jo
Sapnon Ka Jahaan Aabaad Kare
😳
Red Earth and Pouring Rain is such a lovely imagery na? Lovely poem. And 😆
about the foreign language classes. 😉 I do love words like Saudade, Toska, Kairos and Meraki.
Petrichor has become part of English now, though, as a borrowed word. 😊
I wanted to end this OS here, with a definite signal of hope in the air, Swara not
precisely recollecting everything, but getting a feel that she was, after all, perhaps
wrong in judging Sanskaar so harshly. Something about those vague images which
slid into her mind, did register, perhaps in her subconscious.Welcome back dearie and Cant tell you how happy I am to read this beautiful piece of writing from you👏👏😳 and you are awesome you know that😉
I am so glad to be back, Lucky yaar. It means so much to me to have such amazing feedback from you. Feel truly touched and blessed.Love loads🤗LuckyPS; I cant tell you how much I hated that dead wood esp after watching todays crap but yaha par smartie sanky hain na .😳..😳 he figured it out😉..love him for that and ofcourse you😛
Dead wood is going to be chopped down and made into sawdust by Sanskaar! 😃 😆 We can look forward to that moment with great anticipation! Sanskaar certainly is a smartie...he knows to judge people, and exactly how to handle trouble makers like that block of wood! 😉
Beautiful os..
Sanskar's way of making Swara realize his love and recreating the memories was beautiful.. Would want to as the same in the show as well..
Why Swara can't read Sanskar..I know she is hurt but still can't she realize the bullet never hit her and she can see hate in his eyes in the memory but can't see so much love and pain when he is standing is front of her..he appears to be like a drowning man barely holding on..
Sahil is such a pain..Swara would have almost remembered.. Truly he didn't knw whom he is just declared the war with..Sanskar is tiger and that too wounded..Sahil will never een know what hit him..this Sanskar is so intense and icy..had shivers reading this look of his..
Hi Dear... 🤗 🤗
Thanks a ton, am so glad you liked the portrayal of how Sanskaar (as Kissan), gently prods and tries to awaken Swara's memories.
I do think that sooner or later, the show has to show Swara realizing the immense love and longing for her, in Sanskaar's eyes. They would probably show her being skeptical (or rather, forcing herself to be skeptical) of him, and gradually, her defenses and misunderstandings breaking down in the face of his intense and potent adoration for her. At least, that's what I hope they will show, and what I wanted to portray in this OS. 😊 Am really touched by your warm words of appreciation and motivation.
Sahil is without a doubt, a pain of the first order. Obsessive, jealous and covetous dude. Knows nothing about real love. True, Swara might have remembered Sanskaar's beautiful, loving proposal, had Sahil not interrupted. But at least those images made en entry into her subconscious...she does feel vaguely aware that Sanskaar, perhaps, is not guilty of the crime she thins he committed. She has started to think that maybe, what he and her family members say is true---the fact that they were so deeply and irrevocably in love with each other.
Sahil would certainly be in trouble, true. 😆 Sanskaar is going to take him apart, piece by piece. Sanskaar Maheshwari is not a man to be trifled with, he knows how to fight fire with fire. Sahil has seen his friendly and good natured side; now that he has dared to try and double cross him, and covet Sanskaar's wife, Sanskaar would literally annihilate him. I am quite looking forward to that. 😆
The recreation of memory was beautiful..could see it right in front of my eyes happening once again and those dialogues are so very beautiful..have power to touch one's soul chord..
Thanks so much, once again. It means a lot to me, to have you say so.
Last scene was beautiful..the rain..the pond..the flower.. And Swara and Sanskar gazing into each other's eyes and she blushing..must have drenched Sanskar's barren heart when Swara smiled at him..can't wait to see these kinds on screen too..
Yes, Sanskaar must have felt so much comfort to his bruised, battered heart, seeing that tremulous, hopeful half smile from Swara. It really gave him such a powerful sense of new hope, new life and new beginnings.
Amazing story..u write beautifully..and welcome back..and that too with such ana awesome piece of heart touching story..
I am feeling literally on top of the world, as well as deeply humbled, by your lovely feedback. 🤗 🤗
Can't wait to read more of ur soul searing stories..
