Firstly, I don believe even for a second that Sahil did not know that it was Sanskaar when he attacked Sanskaar in the park. He was plainly lying. However, I feel Sahil was speaking the truth when he jested that he wanted to hit Sanskaar harder. His "tumne mujhse meri dost cheen li" hinted towards it if you ask me. I feel he would actually have dealt a mortal blow on Sanskaar if he knew he could get away with it. Moreover, Swara was also present there and She would not consent to marrying a killer, if even the said killer killed the person trying to kill her. That's why, he hit Sanskaar hard enough for his audacity of marrying Swara, but not too hard enough for it to be mortally fatal.
I also feel that he lied to Sanskaar regarding the manner in which he lost his lady love, his Asha, as he called her. I mean, there was something in his eyes, that seemed weird or even abnormal to me. Even omission of details is a form of lying. And I want to discuss the manner in which Sahil might have lost this young lady, a budding musician, I presume. That would explain his sudden obsession for Swara. Swara is also a musician, who happened to be hurt when Sahil found her and patched her up while also taking up the position of a male nurse.
So, regarding the manner in which Sahil lost his lady love, I have two possible scenario's:
1) The said lady faked her own death to be rid of Sahil's obsessive love for her.
2) She got killed because of Sahil or even by Sahil.
From the way Sahil is good at giving first aid and acting Male Nurse, it seems to me that he is a habituated at patching people up. And why would a rockstar like him should be good at it, unless, first he inflicts and then stitches them up.
Moreover, his unprovoked attack on Sanskaar further strengthens my case that he is a violent man who needs little by way of provocation to assault people.
So, the lady in question must have really loved him, as they were childhood friends, might have been be a ward to his family? and was aware of his violent streak. Maybe she was of the opinion that with time, her love and understanding, he would be a better man or would mellow down. And in the process was subjected to physical and mental torture. I am linking Sahil's character to that of Nana Pathekar's in the Bollywood movie Agni Sakshi. And during one of his rages, he might have struck her with his guitar and injured her gravely. She might have died consequently owing to her extensive injuries and broken heart.
Or He might have struck her with his guitar and she must have had enough and fled from him, faked her death (as in option 1) to be rid of him and his equally obsessive mother. Latter this lady might come into picture and spill Sahil's secret to Sanskaar. Maybe.
I personally want Sanskaar to himself discern that Sahil is a foe not a friend.
Do put in your views and comments. I would like to hear what you guys have to say regarding Sahil's long lost love and his violent streak.
