Res for chap 2 of the most beautiful scars and the most wonderful way of healing them 😊
This is the 200th post on this thread, I had saved it to reply to this wonderful comment, Viji dearest dedicated to you😊😳🥳
Un-Res
I am just so thrilled that my Res post turned out to be the 150th on this marvelous thread. 🤗 🤗 I have a special affection for your writing Saku, as you know. And this one looks all set to join my favorites among your pieces like the IK/SQ/Winds of Winter series (God, I need to re read that this weekend, my old love! 😉), and Elixir as well as Icarus.
I know, and now my reply is going to be the 200th post😳 You make me feel so happy and light with these lovely words my dearest, sure go visit the winterlands whenever you want to😊
I just adored the way the First Cracks appeared in the wall in this chapter. 😊 Swara's wall of mistrust and suspicion against Sanskaar is slowly weathering and crumbling under the warm, steady drizzle of his potent, unconditional adoration...😳
We can't go forward with out cake theory if she continues to doubt him, so I had to crack some part of her insane wall.
The way you started off grabbed my attention in an instant---😊 with that awesome description of the enchanting, mesmerizing brown eyes of the one and only Sanskaar Maheshwari. 😳
I wanted to do some experiment with the opening, unlike my usual way of straight hop. Glad you found it interesting😳
So in Vajra, the suave Yuvraj has eyes of deep, mountain lake green. But here, his entrancing orbs captivate Swara, almost despite herself, by their swirling depths and shades of vivid, rich brown. And oh, the descriptions you used...of the bark of holy trees in a centuries old forest; the warm, almost caramel dribble of honey in a cup of deep brown, piping hot coffee; and the deepest brown of damp earth, the parched soil drinking in the freshness of the rains. 😳 ☺️ No wonder Swara could not turn her gaze away. 😉
Uh, ah, you know me and my wild imagination sis. The green eyes there and the descriptions of most wonderful brown eyes here that captivated Swara in spite of her doubts are resulted by that imagination...need I say more?☺️
I felt so very anguished for Sanskaar then, at his mortal agony at Swara's hesitation and fear when he tried to tend to her scalded toes. The almost unconscious way she recoiled from his touch hurt him so badly---I dare say, scalded his heart far, far more than the fire had scalded his palms. 😕😭 And yet, he controlled himself, said that he would fetch Ragini to tend to her.
It was what I wanted to bring out from that moment. That nothing would hurt him more than her reaction...yes it was a scalding moment for me to write too😊
So Swara then outlines her master plan---in an almost repeat of past actions, she has tried to get the truth out of Sanskaar by spiking something he consumed. 😆 The prasad, in this case. Only, it did not work quite the way she planned. 😉😳
Her plans never go the intended way when they comes to Sanskar Maheshwari right? And somethings never change😆
That moment was so intense, so poetic almost in its romantic ambience. We had the "tum mere upar ho, Swara" moment---the first time for Swara, and the "duplicate first time" for Sanskaar---hence, the "tum mere upar ho, phir se!" 😆 😉
Yes, that's the entire point of cake theory. Reliving the moments and making duplicate firsts for Sanskar. So yeah, Tum mere upar ho...phir se😆😉
And the words Sanskaar used in his dialogues here---so mindblowing. He loves with such depth, with every fiber of his being, really. No wonder Swara was shaken, her cynical assumptions about him being shaken up and almost demolished. His affirmation of his potent love for her was so searing in its intensity----he blames himself for letting her fall! 😭 What a man he is...holding himself to such standards, all because he loves her to the very limits of existence and beyond. He still feels, somewhere, that she deserved someone with all unblemished light falling on their soul, with no scars or dark memories. And seeing tears in her eyes literally tears him apart, as it has always done.
I was a little nervous of this part, but what you picked up was exactly what I intended to convey. I feel, Sanskar still thinks along these lines whenever something separates them, mostly the misfortunes fall on Swara right? And he is such a man, who would pour his entire self in to that feeling and still perhaps feels that she deserves more
The way he flipped them around, cuddling her beneath him even as he snuggled his face into the crook of her neck 😳 ☺️ I am super happy Swara hit upon this plan after all. She got to hear from Sanskaar what he felt about her, and she cannot but think that there must be some truth in what he says. For he, under the influence of the drug she has given him, could not possibly be lying or dissimulating...
Me too, I mean Sanskar wouldn't have told her all that, unless he was not in his senses. Otherwise he is very careful about what information she gets access to. Swara did it perfectly this time😳😊
The way Sanskaar throatily reaffirmed his adoration for her, the way he gently grasped her fingers even when near comatose, it was all so well done, Saku. I particularly LOVED that re play of the "finger holding" moment. So, so poetic, almost.
Yes, that was the finger holding moment replyed. You were the only one who gripped on that one😃 I so loved it on screen so had to get it here. Glad you loved it dearest!
So Swara, now is confused. 😆 😕 This girl, I tell you...But in a sense, once can understand where she is coming from. She has realized that Sanskaar loved her deeply, with a potent, selfless adoration, even though she still does not trust him fully. She can believe that she fell in love with him at some time during their marriage, a time in the recent past that she does not recall.
And yet, she feels it would be unfair to him as well as her, were she to continue with the status quo, to force herself to feel something for him merely because they are married, merely because he loves her. She feels a love as deep as his, deserves a like reciprocation...
And so, Swara thinks to herself that she cannot "deceive" Sanskaar, even as she is conscious, that she cares for him far too much, much more than she lets on. 😆😳 She is war of him, does not remember him, and still does not trust him fully. But she cannot help but care for him deeply.
Sigh...a girl less prone to doubt might realize that this is the foundation of love, after all. But our Swara has to find things out the hard way after all. 😊 Bring it on, I say! Sanskaar's love will win her over sooner rather than later. ❤️
I wanted her thought process to be relatable and I'm glad you thought so too. After all as I said somewhere in Vajra curiosity at some point leads to love. She would find her way there too. But as you said, Swara would do this the harder way😊
Waiting for Chap 3, dearest!
Loads of Love,
