How awesome was Ragini today ?
Awesomely awesome, that's what. š³š³
One of my favorite parts today in that awesome, awesome scene made of sheer awesomeness was the part in which she says that she fully understands and accepts what Laksh did to her, and doesn't blame him one bit, because she deserved it for her crimes. But she does not, cannot, will not abide and accept what he did to his family - the very family for whom he had torn her apart so mercilessly and ruthlessly. I wanted to stand up and clap then (and I would have if it wasn't the unseemly hour of 12 AM, lol) - because this is a Ragini who fully understands and comprehends the magnitude of the things she did, and accepts full responsibility and punishment for her actions. More importantly, this is a Ragini who's beginning to understand the difference between good and bad, what is acceptable and what is not. This is a Ragini grown-up.
Notice how she had not uttered a word so far in front of Kavya, not when she called her crap like behenji, not when she said that Laksh could never love someone like her (Ha !! we'll see about that, ahem š³š³), and not even when she stood in her own house and insulted her. Because she knew and accepted that she was wrong then - and she deserved every bit of what Kavya was saying because of her own follies.
But today, Ragini was all:
Because Kavya was WRONG. And Ragini was brave enough, and strong enough to tell her that to her face.
Side note: How awesome was the "Ayyyeee !! Meri baat abhi khatam nahi hui, isliye chup-chaap wahin khadi reh. Warna gharelu hinsa ka jhoota ilzaam jo lagaya hai na, ussko sach main badal doongi."
And Kavya was all like:
That's right Kavya, irrelevant peasants like you do not mess with the queen. š„±š„± She's not quite the abla nari that people seem to believe she is.
Ahem ahem. Moving on.
My dysfunctional broken bbs RagLak !! š³š³
My absolute favorite bit today (and ooh trust me it was damn hard to choose) was when Ragini says "Vishwas nahi hota ki ek samay tha jab hum aapke pyaar main the. Aaap woh Laksh hain hi nahi."
And I was all like:
Ladies and gentlemen, once more for good measure:
"Vishwas nahi hota ki ek samay tha jab hum aapke pyaar main the."
Oooh and not to forget these FANTASTIC LITTLE GEMS:
"Haath door rakho mujh se !! Chhoone ki himmat mat karna !!"
"Bina reed ki haddi ke insaan se humein jaanne ki zaroorat nahi hai ki humein kya karna hai aur kya nahi !!"
"Zindagi main sab se zyaada dukh aur sab se zyaada takleef humein aap ki wajah se hui. Par tab bhi kabhi nafrat nahi kar paaye aap se. Aur aaj bhi nafrat nahi ho rahi. Aaj toh ghinn aa rahi hai. Daya aa rahi hai aapke andhepan par."

Why ?
First, "Zindagi main sab se zyaada dukh aur sab se zyaada takleef humein aap ki wajah se hui. Par tab bhi kabhi nafrat nahi kar paaye aap se." š³š³
Then, when Ragini realizes that Kavya has been doing something to Lucky - the panic and fear in her eyes and voice. Despite all the anger and pain.
And most importantly, the fact that it was Ragini who shook Laksh out of his stupor, and no one else. All the MMwasis had warned Laksh about Kavya multiple times - and did so right up to the moment they were arrested. In fact, even their getting arrested did not bring Laksh out of his daze - and this is the same set of people for whom he had destroyed Ragini so completely and utterly for. But Ragini's voice did. It was her voice that forced him to react, to think, after eons. Out of all thing things that so many people said, her words were the only things that made any difference, the only words that penetrated his fog and reached his mind and heart.
And funnily, this was despite his proclamation in this very episode "Maine aaj tak tumhari koi raay nahi maangi, aur na hi aaj chahiye."
Ahem ahem. So much for not caring about Ragini, Mr. Laksh Maheshwari. I call bullshit.
Woh kehte hai na. Buri hai mohabbat, mohabbat buri hai. Kahe jaa rahe hain, kiye jaa rahe hain. š³š³
Who else though that Ragini's line - "Jis din aapki aankhein khulengi na, bohot der ho chuki hogi. Bohot pachhtayenge aap." - refers to not only this situation, but also possibly the scenario when Laksh realizes his feelings for Ragini, but by then it would be too late ? Food for thought. And just desserts for Lucky. šš
PS: Oooh amidst all that - just one last thing. TEJA - YOU ARE THE QUEEN OF EVERYTHING.
She knocked it out of the park and how. I haven't slept a wink for the past 3 days, but Teja as Ragini today was so incredible, that after watching her I was all like SLEEP IS FOR THE WEAK. Jokes apart, I just had to come in and say my two cents about how awesome Teja and Ragini were, and also to give my RagLak lovelies big squishy hugs on this amazing day !! š¤š¤
And now - off to bed. Phew !!
