Nalini 🤗
Firstly for that dedication- I am so touched and humbled!! I seriously have no idea what to really say! 😳😳 I think you have been way too kind to me but I am supremely grateful and a huge thank you for saying that. Undeserved or not, it made my heart so glad- you made the writing mania seem totally sane!
Now coming to this series! I so so love the idea of a series of Memoirs! And this one seems from Sanskaar's perceptive so guaranteed to be full of some seriously beautiful and poignant SwaSan moments. Are any of the Memoirs from other perspectives like Swara's? Not that it matters and the gild on all of Sanskaar's memories will of course be his Swara
Now the crux- as soon as I read the reference to the Moirae and the 3 Fates- each sister with her allocated role in each person's destiny, I was dancing! You know my love for anything Greek or Roman mythology (or mythology and fantasy anyway) related so this was such a wonderful starting reference, I so cannot wait to see the interweaving of that thread into what promises to be a lovely series.
The start itself brought tears to my eyes. There was something so powerful about the whole description of the Mansion still but in the future when our beloved hero is an old man and clearly awaiting Atropos/ Aisa to come with her cutting instrument to take the life of his own life, his Swara? I am piecing all this together so may be going off target but the beeping in the otter room I am guessing is Swara on some sort of life support- she nears the end of her life and he will now delve into their wonderful years spent together. The words clearly build up the fulfilment they have found and also show at the end his sheer sense of desolation at the thought of loss- after all, how does one lose their own soul and survive? As to that too I have a theory but I won't babble on that for now 😃
All in all, excellent start and I cannot wait to get reading on the Memoirs and take a literal walk down memory lane. Life has to end for all of us but what made is makes that end worthwhile or otherwise and for SwaSan I have no fears whatsoever on that!
Will eagerly await the next and once more, a huge thank for the totally unexpected and lovely mention. Your work is always superb so very much looking forward to this!
Lots of love always,
Shru xoxo
