Please do NOT throw around words like rape casually.

Yes India TV is regressive vs the reality of the society today, but that does not equate to this being directly linked to rapes! Let us not forget that the same audience does have access to progressive India and western shows and enough reality television. Let us not forget that there's much mornegative and intolerance on Twitter than on any Indian show, and that is th reality across the globe.

I somehow can understand the threadmaker's frustration.

There are plenty of bad things out there and India overall is our lovely country.

But as a prime time TV show they shouldn't really show the hero and heroine (who people look up to) support narrow-minded-ness. For example, I genuinely don't see a problem with Kavya's outfit, her interaction with her trainer, kissing her husband (probably on cheek) in public (it wasnt anything sexual.. just an act of affection).

It was bad for the ladies of the house to blame Kavya because the gardener guy was staring at her.. It should be the perverted guy who is blamed, not the girl. That is what is convaying the wrong message.

What is it saying?

It is a girl's fault for dressing "apparently indecently" if a man pervert-edly looks at her.. and this too just in their back garden.

I'm not going to talk about the non-veg part because I don't know anything about the traditions relating to it all.

this is a serial i have read the wu in that it said that suju created a tamasha it was bcoz she doesnt like kavya thats all . and the mentality yes it seems to not change the things they used to do with Swara they r doing it with kavya the diff is that kavya is bad.(but they dont know it) and abt Swara i would just say she thinks she is evil but she also suffered bcoz of same mentality

but this kind of post That India is that and that makes me really felt something else and u just diverted from a very good topic . U COULD HAVE WRITTEN ABOUT MENTALITY. but u seem to talk about India in general . India cant be bad no other country could be it is the ppl who make the country so U seem to say Indian are bad in general?? u r one of them .

W*F does this have to do with rapes? There are rapes everywhere in the world! In the US, UK, etc yet their culture is not ''regressive'' at all, their shows are not ''regressive'' at all. IA that the current track is just BS and family members are overreacting but please don't make every little thing into a rape issue.. that's a sensitive subject.

i don't agree wid the TM .

India is not intolerant .just bcoz few families or sum communities don't allow 2 eat non-veg doesn't mean its regressive.

wearing western clothes or eating non-veg is not symbol of progressiveness. or eating veg food or following traditional values or not wearing western clothes doesn't mean its regressive.

every family has its own rules & traditions so why 2 say why not 2 let oders wear this & that or eat wat they want.

i find it quite offensive & then equating all these wid rapes & intolerant.

wen i watched the segment i thot sujju & AP overreacted it but after watching 2days epi i find it quite ok. bcoz wat they objected was kavya's workout in lawn in front of servants.and i think even celebs don't work out like this in front of servants.she cud'd easily do this in her room.and AP understood that thatswhy they objected.and abt that kiss kavya was doing deliberately. and plz its India how much we progress still in front of elders this thing is not considered gud.yes sujju did overreact at that.i mean she shudn't'd shouted like that.but every1 knows shes bit hyper.

plz every society & country has its own traditions & morals so respect that don't equate it wid regressiveness.we've seen western society's breaking wid such progressiveness.

then abt eating non-veg food maheshwaris r marwaris & this community is mostly v.strict vegetarian. so if they don't want non-veg food 2 cooked in their house its their rite just liek eating non-veg food by non-vegetarian.

i don't know why non-vegetarian ppl don't want 2 respect the sentiments f vegetarian ppl & make fun of them .

i m myself used 2 b non-vegetarian but now i've turned only eggtarian but i never made fun of any1s eating habits of said why r u not allowing 2 eat this or that.

and abt swasan going 2 talk 2 lucky so they din't go 2 talk abt kavya's work out or clothes but they asked him why kavya talked badly/rudely wid them.

and MM ppl were rude 2 kavya form the start??😲they were rude & bashed laksh not kavya but how kavya behaved after mrg in the mandap itself made MM ppl 2 behave like this wid her.

rembr how she said 2 shekhar if he'd 2 take both of his daughters then wats the need 2 do the drama.he shud'd done that earlier atleast he shudn't got slapped. this itself shows how evil/bad is she?? which gud prsn will say like this??😲
