Always vilifying so-called 'modern' girls and promoting anachronisms that are not even good. They don't try to teach us about the good things that used to happen, but rather, they wanna foist all that is bad on to the audience.

I watched those scenes you talked about. Kavya was training with her gym trainer and apparently, a professional environment where 2 adults touch is something criminal. 🤢

Again, Lakshya-Kavya expressing their feelings with an innocent gesture and what's-her-name has to act like she has witnessed them eating the forbidden fruit. Side note: I like her as an actor. 😆

I also didn't like that scene where they tried to demonise non-vegetarians. You can be vegetarian and have your beliefs, but why must everyone in your family be forced to obey them? People are individuals and should not be forced to adhere to arbitrary rules because someone says so.

I am really irritated with these TV shows trying to pretend being non-vegetarian is a cardinal sin. 😡

One thing I disagree with is saying it's the cause of rape in India.

kavya as a character is fine - she is a non veg, modern, believes in pda and does not follow certain rituals like taking a bath before going to temple but this does not make her bad /evil or villain why dont cvs get this
rapes are a result of patriarchy and regressive thinking - this show does not promotes rape but it does promote patriarchy and regressive thinking

apologises I knw india isn't an intolerant country I have spoken to lots of indians in india and I knw from the wau they think that they not like that and maybe I should have worded my post better. @bold- Exactly. She is evil because she manipulates people, hurts them and wishes ill on them, but not because she is non-vegetarian, for God's sake. 🥱 Instead of focusing on the real issue at hand, they are using these 'vices' as a scapegoat.

It saddens me to think there are viewers who actually believe these things.
