Dearest Nyna, Simi, Pri, Talia, Pic and Sanya- lovely ladies, I have read and adored your detailed and kind comments. I am very conscious I need to respond and I meant to do so today but am down with a really bad sore throat, flu and fever so am feeling very under the weather, plus have had to work too due to commitments that cannot be shifted. Please don't mind my late responses, they will follow as soon as I feel half human! I am delayed with Chapter 21 too for this reason
Begging your forgiveness!Lots of love,Shru xoxo

Chapter 20 res
UnresDear Shru, Such a beautiful chapter:👏👏👏Swara and Sanskaar wake up in each other's arms. It truly was peaceful- tenuous, yes, given the nightmares that plagued Swara but then Sanskaar's presence did calm her, so much so that every time it appeared that the nightmares would claim her, he could pull her back with the protection of his arms - her solace his salvation.Swara is feeling the pull Sanskaar has on her, even more strongly, but then after what she has gone through, she really would not be able to name that emotion. It is indeed love, she moving closer to the dip in the mattress where he had slept to lose herself in the residual warmth. And then that love would be both her resurrection and her salvationSwara is feeling the pull Sanskaar has on her, even more strongly, but then after what she has gone through, she really would not be able to name that emotion. It is indeed love, she moving closer to the dip in the mattress where he had slept to lose herself in the residual warmth. And then that love would be both her resurrection and her salvation (modification of a line by Fyodor Dostoyevsky) and if Sanskaar even had an inkling of her love, he would find solace. Then Sanskaar makes plans, chief of which consisted of handing over the maps and the return of Swara (he instructs his messenger to meet a specific person, if necessary, by the way, is this the same person who watched the sisters and Sanskaar on the night of his escape?) But Swara does not take the idea of returning too well (another set of conflicting emotions - unwilling to leave him and a faint feeling that she might not be actually be welcomed with open arms). Then Pawan's interference - a sort of the 'Parent Trap' play- but did work wonders here. Both Swara and Sanskaar, did slip into the all-too-familiar companionship. (Would you have Pawan face Sanskaar's wrath for his attempts to play cupid?)Solace and Salvation - I do not know why but these two words (quite an alliteration) seem to be interwoven throughout the chapter - the whole chapter is a poignant tale of the entire gamut of emotions - unspoken love but vividly expressed in actions, care given despite facing one's demons, easy banter reflecting how happy memories can overshadow present sorrows, strength to lend calm a dying warrior, courage to admit her mistake in labelling them traitors, laughter between Swara and Sanskaar bringing promise of sunshine after the storms, Swara's bravery earning the respect of the battle-hardened soldiers, which makes Sanskaar extremely proud and the end - bringing them gladness and hope. Each act which brought solace to one made someone step closer to salvation. One final note - not having to buy clothes for Swara, solace for Pawan and salvation for both her and us!love,NynaPS: Veer and Varun - loved it. Just could not help wonder, what would Swara's horse be named?😉

Unres ..ShrutiExtremely sorry for late post..I was busy for some projects.😕This chapter was beautiful. Sanskar's unconditional love and care for swara, his devotion towards her ,his respect for her personality... Every was attracting me...I love how pawan mingled with swara, ever his horse varun too😆How sanskar was silent in front of our princess tigress😆The attraction was mutual a long time ago,but now it is converted into pure love. How she was hurt thinking about the departure.. And he too was upset. The way swara consoled the dying man.. Respect for such lady from the bottom of my heart.the salute from the men in war was overwhelming... Truly she deserved that...Looking forward to the trade fare with swasan update. But will Mahesh mahal people accept swara!!!In those time,a single girl who had left with a young man were not acceptable in family again!!!will Sanskar take this risk knowingly that ragini will harm her again!!Update soon.sorry for short commentLove,Simi😊

*Updated*
Of nightmares, calm, support and hugs ! Like the two of them, I want to cling to these moments...and I wish they would magic back to the Haveli...and all those into the night conversations and the dawn that woke them up with its mellow sunlight !! The act of him calming her through her raging nightmares puts across the point of their love so simply !!This mind over heart battle that Sanskaar fights each time, just wants me to give him a good natured thwack on his head :P *She louuuves you...stop thinking about sending her away...now...stop now...how about now ?* But the gentleman in him is adorable :) As is Swara gravitating towards the space he had just vacated just to feel his warmth...*heart bubbles alert*Pawan is such a great friend...absolutely lovely !! He's such a perceptive fellow...whether it is instinctively knowing that Sanskaar is head over heels in love with Swara or realizing that he needs to rest before they head out on a new mission !😆 about sending him to get clothes for Swara...i burst out laughing aloud...and loved how Lord Pawan diffuses the situation between the two hot heads and craftily also plays cupid by knowing what would bring to leave that argument aside...beshttt fraand he be !! Him being impressed with Swara's ability to take on Sanskaar brought a smile to my face...that's what made it clear that he will be a great friend to Swara as well...i can totally imagine them together pulling Sanskaar's leg !!Loved the touch where before Pawan's interference she actually calls him out for taking decisions for him...I think i read in your response to the other Shru about a man's assumption that he knows best...even if it is true at times...hahaa...loved how that manifested here and how in the prev chapter he was cognizant enough to tell her about the opiate...but here he's like ofcourse it's better to send you back :P...ummm Sanskaar...ask your lady love please...it's killing her as much as it is killing you to think it/say it !! And that in turn is leading any attempts at conversation to back fire...sigh...the whole meal that followed was laden with that atmosphere !I think until now Swara has still not acknowledged to self that she's in love with Sanskaar...she feels dread at the thought of parting from him and even names it being dependent on him...but there is a deeper emotion...that she needs to confess to herself first...maybe PKJ will coax that out of her ?🤣 @ Veer and Varun's fight for Swara...Horsie jealousy is as endearing as human interactions !! That and Pawan's conversation with her is so amazing...like you mentioned in your PM...Swara does need a friend...and who better than Pawan :) The way he gives her a view into their past...and when he compares the horses to their masters, it was so tongue in cheek :P Well done Pawan...shows how deep their friendship runs that he takes such liberties.. (i couldn't stop laughing at the Lakshya part...can totally imagine him huffing and puffing)..Swara did so well with Sushena...to give him that peace of mind in times of suffering was such a wonderfully regal thing to do...especially since as a woman in those times, I'm sure she would have felt squeamish about his condition...but she not only managed to calm his soul by his words, but all the while made sure she was doing the task of feeding him...such a lovely gesture ! By giving him that honour and dignity, atleast assuaged some of his pain... and loved how you segued that into the other soldiers coming up to her and giving her that respect...the way you've brought home the point that some soldiers have way better values than the noble bred (DSR..ugh)...is fabulous !! And Sanskaar feeling pride in his men as well as her is so heart warming *see this is why you shouldn't talk about her leaving*Eagerly waiting for the next part Shru...hopefully it follows the Prince with his old Swara who he coaxed into smiling with his story about stones and windows and break-ins...awww...Absolutely lovely update, and like you said much needed light heartedness...truly offered solace...Now doubling the infinite P&J's for you..cos ek Veer ka...ek Varun kaa...🤗🤗
