Part 4.

MM-Morning time.

Sujata was sitting on the dinning table reading something wondering the right the time to blast off the topic.Last night before going to bed she had gone to Vivaan's room to talk to Rohan.While coming back she had heard Ragini and Laksh talk about their phone conversation with Swara and Sanskaar.

Last night (Flashback)

R-Laksh hume nahi lagta ke Swara hme kabhi bhi maaf karegi.Ghar ke saare bacche humse aise hi dur rahee.

L-Ragini tum chinta mat karo.Dekho aaj Swara gusse mai thi.I am sure jab uska dimaag thanda ho jayega tab woh bhi samjhegi woh bacche tumhare bhi kuch lagte hai.

R-Nahi Laksh Swara ka gussa jayez hai.Mai un baccho ki sirf chachi hu.Woh unki Ma hai,aur upar se aab toh Rohan bhi humse nafrat karta hai kal shyad Gayatri ko bhi pata chalega toh woh bhi humse baat nai karege.

Sujata's blood had boiled.She had clearly told Laksh not to talk about this matter.Laksh never listened to anybody.His impulsiveness and inability to handle sensitive matters had landed him where he was.She looked at Ragini.When Ragini had first got engaged to Laksh Sujata had liked her.She too always wanted a bahu like Ragini.Sweet polite and ofcourse Marwari but after the incidents she had thought that though her bahu was Bengali she did not attempt to kill anybody,she never disrespected elders.Infact Swara considered her like her own mother.She still remembered she was in U.S. with Swara the day she had received her father's call regarding Sharmisthaji's death.The poor girl was broken beyond repair.Sujata always knew Swara and Sharmistha were really close.Sometimes she felt jealous seeing the mother-daughter bond.She wanted this type of relationship with Uttara but never succeeded but after Swara came she too felt like she had a daughter.The day Sharmishtha had died she had decided that she would always be the wall between Swara and anything that tries to harm her.She had decided that Ragini would never be the reason of Swara's unhappiness anymore.When the family had found out that Swara was pregnant everybody had insisted that Swara and Sanskaar move back here so that everybody could take care of Swara but she had put her foot down and told everybody that Shona and Sanskaar would not come here but she would go there and would ensure that her daughter-in-law's pregnancy goes smooth.

DP had came down with AP even RP had came down so she decided now was the proper time.Sujata Ramprasad Maheshwari set out for another battle.She had no hope for any support from anybody.She will and always fight for her children's happiness till she is alive.

Sujata-To Laksh beta aapni man ki karke kaisa laga.Wo ke hai na tumhe jo na karne kaho woh tum pehle karte ho.

AP-Ye tum kya bol rahi ho Sujata.Kya kiya hai Laksh ne ??

Sujata-Ye aap apne bete se hi kyu nahi poochti jiji.Poochye inse kal raat inhone Swara se pooja ki baat ki thi ya nahi.Laksh ko chain na hai.Adarsh aur Pari ne mana kiya tha ise.Par ise loko ki fikir kaha hai.

Ragini-Chachji hum mante hai ke humne Swara se baat ki thi.Par Swara ne khud Adarsh bhaiyya se humme bolane ko kaha tha.

Sujata-Toh aur ke karege woh Ragini.Thara pati Adarsh aur Pari ka jina haram kar deta agar woh Shona se baat na karta to.Pichle saal bhi yehi kiya tha usne.Jiji,Bhaisa 17 saal pehle maine Shona aur Sanskaar ko yaha se jaane ko kaha tha kyoki Ragini aur Laksh ke saath ek chaat ke niche rehna mumkin nahi tha.Par ye toh waha bhi shanti na deve hai unko.

AP-Laksh tumhe ek baat samjah mei kyo nahi aati.Tum 20 saal ke bacche nahi ho aab.Jab tumhe sab ne kaha tha ki Swara se is bare mei koi baat nai karega toh tumhe konsi bhasha samajh mei aati hai.

DP-Laksh tumhe kab samajh mei aayega.Aab Swara aur Sanskaar akele nahi hai.Unke do 14 saal ke bacche hai.Koi bhi baat aab unhe aur sambhal kar handle karni padege.Bacche bade ho rahe hai chote nahi.Oonhe sab samajh me aata hai.

Pari meanwhile who was talking to Swara comes down and says.

Pari-Laksh aab tumhe tension lene ki koi zarrorat nahi hai.Swara ne kaha hai ki agle saal se tumhe pooja mei bethne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai.Next year se woh khud hi aayegiPooja karege aur 3-4 dino mei chali jayegi.

(Laksh and Ragini were beyond shocked).

AP-Ye dekho Laksh.Tumhari wajah se aab bechari bachi har saal idhar udhar karege.Rohan,Gayatri,Sanskaar uski office sab chod kar yaha ayege pooja ke liye sirf tunhari wajah se.

Sujata-Nahi jiji meri maniye to Shona ne ye faisla bahut der se liya hai.Pehle se he Laksh ko pooja mei bithane ki koi zaroorat hai thi.Aakhir hai to woh Ragini ka pati hi na.

Ragini-Chachiji woh hamari bhi ma thi.Swara ne hame ma ke aantim sanskaar mei bhi pair rakhne se mana kar diya tha.

Sujata-Mai thi waha Shona ke saath Ragini.Tune oose sab kuch chin liya.Uski ma chin le tune.Shona ka khoon thi woh Ragini.Thari aur Thari dadi ke wajah se ye sab kuch hua.Itna tension ke unke heart ye sab handle na kar paya.Tune onki aur Shona ki zindagi barbaad kar di.Par mai thre ko ye sab mare Rohan aur Gayatri ke saath na karne doogi.Thari dadi ki toh parchaiye bhi na padne doogi unpar.Thare parivaar ne Shona se sirf cheena hai Ragini kuch diya nahi hai.

Adarsh-Laksh tu rehne de pooja mei mai aur Pari ja rahe hai.

Laksh-Par bhai...

DP-Laksh tumne suna nahi Adarsh ne kya kaha woh aur Pari jayege pooja mei.Annapoorna ji chaliye hume bhi jana hai.Sujata tum Ramprasad bhi aa jao.

Sujata-Ji bhaisaa.

(Ragini sat down on the sofa trying to absorb what Sujata said and her heart with Sujata .She closed her eyes and said:Ye humse kya ho gaya)

Rohan and Gayatri had gone to sleep.Though their vacations Swara had made it a habit to get to bed early.No late nights.Late nights were routine for Gayatri and Rohan for when they studied.After finishing up the work she went to the bedroom.

Sanskaar-It's offcial MM had Sujata Storm 😆😆😆...

Swara-Mei kal mom se baat kar loogi.And please donot call it a storm.She just worries.Anyways Sanskaar I have decided from next year I will personally go for the puja and come back in 3-4 days time.

Sanskaar-Her highness if you have decided it will be correct only.(Saying so he gives a peck to Swara on her cheek).

Swara-Tum to kuch bolo hi mat Sanskaar.Shaadi se pehle Princess Princess kehte nahi thakte te aur aab beti aa gayi hai oh use Princess mujhe kuch nahi.

Sanskaar-(Holding her from her waist)Shona shaadi se pehle tum meri Princess thi par Shaadi ke baad toh tum meri Queen hui na so aapka promotion to Your Highness par hua.Waise tum aapni beti se jalti ho.How bad 😆.

Swara-(Playfully hitting him)Sanskaar jao meh tumse baat nahi karogi.Tum na bahut boore ho.Mei papa se tumhari complain karoogi is baar aur Mom se kahugi ke woh yaha aajaye.Kuch mahino ke liye.

Sanskaar-Ha ha mere ma baap ki toh tum beti ho mei tu koi Kumbh ke Mele se aaya hua aanjaan insaan hu.😆😆😆...Mom toh tumhari lawyer aise banti hai ki bas poocho mat.Now I know ki Rohan mei ye lawyering skills kaha se aaye hai.

Swara-I just hope waha sab shant ho gaya ho Sanskaar.Mom ka gussa toh tumhe pata hai na.

Sanskaar-Donot worry.Dad hai na.Sambhal lege.


Kolkatta,Baadi...

Preparations were going on for the pooja.Vivaan was there trying to make the arrangements.Pari had instructed him with the Samagri for the pooja.Vivaan always considered Swara as his choti ma.She always knew what he was thinking and always had the solution to his problem.Unlike Ragini chachi who was very miedieval in her thinking.Vivaan also knew that Gayatri will never be able to stand Ragini because Gayatri was much like Swara in her thinking.Modern and Feminist.She hated guys who said Girls can't do this and girls cant do that.Vivaan doted on Gayatri because he knew she will be one day the pride of Maheshwari family.

Shekhar entered the pooja place.After Swara had left for U.S.A Laksh had always came for the pooja but he had not allowed Ragini or his mother sit for the pooja.His father sat with him.His father was all but sorry for Shekhar because in both his maraiges his wife was responsible for the death of their Bahu-Directly or indirectly.Swara had called previous night to inform him about the changes in the pooja.And also informed him that next year onwards she would be coming to India.The MM people come and sit for the pooja.

The pooja get over and DP and Shekhar were talking.

DP-Bhagwan kare Sharmisthaji ki aatma ko shanti mile.

Shekhar-Shanti ka to pata nai DP ji par use khushi tab tak nahi milege jab tak uski SwaRagini ek nahi ho jaati.DP aap toh kuch kijeye.Swara aapka bada aadar karti hai.Use kahye ki woh kuch hafto ke liye hi sahi India aaye.Taaki bacche bhi sab se mil sake.

DP-Shekharji har cheez ka samay hota hai.Is ka bhi samay aayega humara yakeen manaiye.

Such a nice part both 3 & 4. So now Gayatri also knows that what happened b/w Swara and Ragini 17 years back. Kids are well enough to comprehend the situation. Shekhar too wants Swara & Ragini to unite but I really can never wish of this.

Gayratri was doing her morning "riyaz". Yes Gayatri had been inherited with her mother as well as her Masi's singing skills.Infact in her case she was step further.She could play both Sitar and Guitar.She played both of them alternatively.Today it was the sitar.Sanskaar and Swara's morning started this way-melodious voice of their daughter.Gayatri and Rohan were all round children.They both were straight A's students-not a complain from school but they both also excelled in other things.Rohan loved sports whereas Gayatri loved music.Gayatri aspired to be a mechanical engineer whereas Rohan wanted to be a lawyer.They had inherited Swara and Saanskaar's complete traits-Observing nature,could not stand medieval talks,always respected elders and ofcourse were the apple of their parents eyes.

Sanskaar- Shona seriously Gayatri ki awaaz agar din mei na suno to din accha nai jaata hai.She has inherited her music skills from you.

Swara-Yeh toh sach hai.Uski awwz sun kar dimaag ki saari stress,tension sab durr bhaag jata hai.

Sanskaar-Well Mrs Maheshwari thodi si credit khud bhi lijye,you have trained her well with Guitar whereas Pari bhabhi has trained her well with Sitar.

(Meanwhile doorbell rings and it is Swara's business partner Ishaani Parekh at the door.She was Swara's best friend as well as business partner.Ishaani was a single mother and her daughter Tara was Gayatri's best friend)

Gayatri-Hi aunty kaisi hai aap ???

Ishaani-I am absolutely fine beta.Aapki mumma kaha hai ? I really needed to talk to her its important.

Swara-Kya baat hai madam aaj subah subah.All ok na ???

Ishaani-Ok Ok ye tum mujhse pooch rahi ho ??? Tumne kuch ok rakha hi kaha hai Shona.

Swara-Aisa kya kiya hai maine Ishaani.Did I commit some mistake in work ??

Ishaani-Arre Shona tumne aisa kaam kiya hai jo koi soch bhi nai sakta tha.

Sanskaar-Ishaani you are scaring us kya hua hai ??

Ishaani-Sanskaar tumhari biwi ko International Jewellery Foundation ne honour karne ka decision liya hai-For her outstanding contribution to the field of designing.

Shona-Are you serious tum mazak to nahi kar rahi ho na Ishaani ?

Ishaani-Aisa bhi koi mazak karta hai kya.Gayatri jaldi Rohan ko bulao our sweets se celebrate karo guys your mother is officially one of the most prominent Jewellery designer all around the world.

Gayatri-Yay Mom congratulations.I am so very proud of you.(Hugs her tightly)

Rohan-Arre akele akele mom ko kyu hug kiya jaa raha ha ?aur woh bhi mujhe chod kar 😆😆...

Sanskaar-Guys maine abhi tak congratulate nahi kiya hai.Make some space.

Swara-Ha Ishaani batao aage.

Ishaani-Ok Shona listen up.Ye award ceremony 1 week baad hai and Kolkatta mai hai so you will have to go down with your entire family and collect the award from there.I will be there along with Dad present as well.

(Swara's smile diminishes and this does not go unnoticed by Gayatri,Rohan and Sanskaar.However Sanskaar has decided that no more hw will allow anybody to ruin his family's happiness)

Sanskaar-Ishaani tum itinerary final kar lo we will start packing our bags.Should not take much time.Aur hotel reservations ke liye hard work mat karna actually our family stays there so will reside there.

Ishaani-Ok Shona tum bilkul chinta mat karo ok.Donot be nervous.I am there with You.Mai nikal ti hu hum sab ke reservations bhi karvane hai.

Sanskaar-Rohan,Gayatri go upstairs and start packing and yes abhi Vivaan ko kuch mat batana I will first talk to Adarsh bhai and Pari bhabhi.

Rohan-Ok dad donot worry hum kissi ko nahi batye ge.

Swara-ye kya tha Sanskaar.Tum ne soch bhi kaisi liya ke mai oos sher mai,us ghar mei Ragini ki shakal dekhne jao gi bhi.I would have preferred to let the award go rather than ging back there aagin.It gets suffocating with Ragini and Daadi maa hounding my head.

Sanskaar-Shona you need to get over Ragini and Dadi maa.I am not saying go and hug her and forgive her right away but you need closure for both of them.You have been carrying around this pressure for a long time now. Sharmishtha ma would have never allowed you to live this way.

Swara-(Starts crying)-I could not help her Sanskaar.I could not help my own mother.I pushed her into that hell hole.I insisted her to live with Dadi maa and Dada ji and than she got caught p in this whole mess of me and Ragini.What kind of daughter I was to her ?

Sanskaar-Shh Shona stop crying... you were the best daughter anybody could ask for.You were brought up without a father and yet you turned out to be this amazing human being.You know the way you are raising Rohan and Gayatri Sharmishtha ma would have been so proud of you.You are the best mother and you were a perfect daughter to your mother and you are to your father.(He hugs her)I cannot let you sacrifice anymore than you have Shona.You will receive this award with the entire family present and you will let go of this demons of past of Ragini and Daadi ma.You are my Shona.

And BTW Mrs Maheshwari Congratulations for your achievement.I am so amazingly proud of you.(Kisses on her cheek)I love you so very much.

Swara-Sanskaar ye sab kuch tumhare aur family ke support ke bagaire nahi hota.I could not have asked for more in my life.I love you too.

Sanskaar-Aab tum jaldi se packng karo I will call Adarsh bhaiyya and give him the good news dekhna sab log khushi ke maare idhar oodhar bhagege.

Adarsh and Pari had been discussing about morning's hula bola.How many times had he warned Laksh and Ragini not to interfere with Shona's matter.They both had ruined enough matters already.Ragini and Laksh had played enough with Shona and Sanskaar's life not they were repenting but what was the use.Ragini's mistakes had cost both her and Shona their mother.And Laksh had forever lost his brother and ofcourse the children's respect as well.Suddenly phone ringed and it brought Pari and Adarsh out of their conversation.

Adarsh-Sanskaar woh bhi is time par.I hope sab theek ho.Ha Sanskaar kya hua all ok.??

Sanskaar-Yes bhai all ok not just ok but super cool.Bhai aap phone speaker pe rakhye na taki bhabhi ko bhi sunai de.

Adarsh-Ok Bol call is on speaker kya hua.Itna khush sound kar raha hai.

Sanskaar-Bhai International Jewellery Foundation wants to felicitate Swara with a award for her contribution to the field of designing.

Adarsh and Pari (Together)-Oh My God.

Pari-Sanskaar bhai ye to kitni khushi ki baat hogi.Shona ko hamari taraf se congratulate kar dena.

Adarsh-Ha Sanskaar aakhir uski itni saalo ki mehnat rang la rahi hai yaar.Everybody is going to be so proud of her especially papa.Unhe sabse zyada khushi hogi ye sun kar.Congratulate her from us hum use jald se jald call karege.

Sankaar-Bhai aur Pari agar mai kahu ke aap dono kya pura family use khus wish kar sakta hai to kya kahege aap.???

Adarsh-How is it possible Sanskaar unless...function India mei hai kya ???(He asked Excitedly.)

Sanskaar-Yes bhai Hum charo jan Kolkatta aane ke liye jald nikal rahe can you just inform the family ?

Adarsh-Of course kar dungs.Aur ha mujhe aapni itinerary mail kar dena mai tum logo ko lene aa jao ga ok.

Sanskaar-Ok bhai.Aab mai phone rakhta hu baccho ka bhi packing karna hai.

Pari-Ok bye bhaiya.

Adarsh-Pari tum sab ko hall mei ikhatta karo.Bahut time baad ghar mei aisi good news aayi hi.

Pari-Ok.

(Everybody had assembled in the MM hall.Ragini and Laksh were confused pari bhabhi was looking so excited,Sujata chachi was gleeming with pride...They were so very confused.DP and AP came followed by Vivaan who did not seem to have a clue)

DP- Adarsh Pari aisi kya baat hai jo tumne hume yaha bulaya hai.
AP- Ha beta kya baat hai ??

Ragini-bhabhi sab theek to hai na ??

Pari-Ek bahut badi good news hai.Sanskaar bhai ka phone tha.Shona ko International Jewellery Foundation ne award ke ssath felicitate karne ka faisla kiya hai for her contribution to the field of designing.Aur dusri good news ye hai ki woh function Kolkatta mai hai toh Sanskaar bhai aur Shona baccho ke saath India aa rahe he.

To say that everybody was happy was less.Everybody was escastic tat their "Bahu"had wom such a huge honour.Sujata was feeling so much pride that along with her son,her daughter-in-law was also advancing and progressing in her work.DP felt so happy.He felt happy as if his own daughter had won it ofcourse Swara was his daughter but alas e had not given any happy memory to the girl.His whole family was her culprit.Ragini was very happy for her sister.She had often heard from Vivaan that Swara was a very successful designer but this was compltely new for her.

Everybody distributed their work for coming day or two and went to their respective rooms.Ragini however was pale faced ever since she heard that Swara and Sasnkaar weere coming to India and it did not go unnoticed by Laksh.

Lash-Kya baat hai Ragini tum khush nahi ho Swara ke liye. ??

Ragini-Nahi Laksh aisi ko baat nahi hai.Hum bahut khsh hai uske ke liye.Par kya aapko yaad nahi pichli baar jab Swara ma ke guzar jaane ke waqt yaha aayi thi to kya hua tha.

Laksh too got pale hearing that.Boy it was not good.That was the day he had learnt that Swara Sanskaar Maheshwari could hate a person too.
