Awesome update dear, I loved it. DP , AP and Sanskar POV was so good👏, i liked how you explained why DP became such an arrogant person who can go any extent to win. Cant wait to read you next one. Do continue soon

Saku dear 🤗
I'm late of course but you hopefully know why so will forgive me? This is my comment on Jealousy.

👏👏 I loved how you once more sketched Ragini's inner psyche so wonderfully, delving in those depraved depths with your trademark punchy style. Firstly, the very beginning was fantastically described. The whole analogy of evil not being as sudden as a glass smashing but the gradual onset of darkness as it drains away the light I really found so effective. Then Ragini- this is the Ragini we so needed on the show and never got. This is the Ragini some of us try to grapple with in our fictions and you always do it very well indeed! The gradual hold evil has taken of her made so much sense (without still being justifiable of course) when seen through the childhood memories, the poisoning by other influences and of course the real driver behind it all- a deep and poisonous jealousy born of insecurity! I so see Ragini like this- I am trying to hard to depict this in Dark Knight too and serious kudos to you here for having managed it so adroitly. Also loved how you played the Lakshya angle- the obsession with him and then her actual unwilling realisation that he idol does have feet of clay but she is now too far on that path to just turn back. And voila we have the concealment here of a Calypso! Fantastic read Saku, will read and comment on the next one soon! Love you xoxo

Saku, my comment on Honour:)
As you probably know from my various stories and my usual ramblings on the forum, I have a soft spot for Durga Prasad but in Icarus, you made me hate him and here too you made me loathe the Durga Prasad you so effectively painted in your work. I loved the darkness this piece brought out and the way it did it in such a compelling way. I think its nice to be able to write what I call "sunshine and roses" and like all nice, sweet things in life is very necessary too, but the real pieces that stay with you, linger endlessly and replay many times are often the ones with pain and pathos. This one fits there. I liked that you descried the background to Durga Prasad's gradual obsession with power, which he disguises even to himself as honour and his then surrender to that ego and well, form of evil. I also liked the way you showed the cruelty so deep rooted in the man now- the most striking example was when he made Annapurna betray Sanskaar- it was like a psychopath hurting someone's pet to punish them. Parts of it for some strange reason reminded me of Joffrey Baratheon, if you are familiar with Game of Thrones (I am obsessed with the books and show both!). Sanskaar of course even in the limited and overpowered form we saw him in inspired respect and admiration! The scenes describing his understanding of the betrayal and the whole of his meeting with Annapurna were amazing! Great work again Saku 🤗

Your description of him as a "crawling, squashy, weak snail hidden within its shell" - was so apt. (though it initially evokes a creepy slimy feeling - if that was your intention - well you have succeeded ).

He is truly venomous - hates Sanskaar because he reminds him of his infidelity, harbours a grudge against Annapurna for bringing Sanskaar into his life, their family and society, the viciousness with which he uses her to break both Sanskaar and Annapurna. But Sanskaar did not break, did he - he could be Durga Prasad's son, but somewhere Annapurna's nurturing rendered him different - the ending was poignant - Sanskaar aware of her betrayal yet wanting to hold on to his memory of her being his mother.

All in all, a wonderful backstory - this lends all the more credence to Durga Prasad's actions - after all a man who could disown his blood, use his wife to betray his son, could easily send a 'stranger' to the gallows to save his son - effortlessly.👏
