Finally read last two updates. 😊
I know matter was sensitive one to talk! but you know me was whistling in my mind on Sanskaar's one liners one after another.
he felt guilty and wanted to help Kavita in moving on. but she managed to touch the wrong string! now going to face the ire of the king protecting his queen, his life "Shona".
but didn't she know that Sanskaar knew truth of supposed murder of her!! she wanted him to feel guilty and chose her or something more from this kavita scenario! but I just love Sanskaar's "sidhi baat, no bakwaas" attitude.
I love so so so much that "flames and wind" analogy, in fact whole conversation between Swasan . as I like all lines ,so I just can't pick anyone line here. All were awesome, their conversation, punishment, realisation, promises, me so love each every dialogue of the conversation between Swara and Sanskaar... Superbly written Saku! :))

and Vasundhara is burning in jealously from childhood to now. in starting , I thought her hatred will be towards Ram prasad!
I think she was the one who created misunderstanding between her brother and Yashodhara. what had done by biyaani Sisters that now her target is Durga prasad!
the conversation between her and Sanskaar... she also managed to touch the wrong string ,above this thinking Sanskaar alone!!!!!
I just love Swasan's love, Swara never let herself become the weakness of Sanskaar. She made him stronger , ahaan! Strongest!!
and Achillus' heel line was awesome.
And yeah, Sanskaar got her weakness, So sharp! in many scenes , you showed him like his birth mother and more like his father Ram prasad! by the way, no connection with Sujaataa?? she reared him. just curious!! so asking! and
in starting what was the matter Chandra and Sanskaar were having a conversation. and I guess, that tender was from Chandra, her sister blackmailed him for asking money from maheswaries. May be!!! and in starting, Chandra called Shakuni to Vasundhara!! Am I right? did he know Vasundhara was using him or he was unaware!!!
by the way, I think Vasundhara underestimated the strength of Sanskaar , along with Swara. well, our deadly combination, King and queen are with each-other and I am eagerly waiting this endgame to unfold more!!
PS- I love Swasan scenes here, intense , full of love and dedication to each-other. full of spring in between this winterland :))

Saku, As I have already told you before, if not writing blockbuster books, you have a gilded future as a script/ dialogue writer. Such crisp dialogues, Sanskaar's especially imbued with a razor sharp wit, an ironical flourish. Loved it!

This exchange between him and Vasundara was just priceless:

"We would love to have you here---under our eyes---i mean, under our care..." 😆 😆. Oh Sanskaar, Sanskaar...where did you go for your wit & wisdom classes? 😉

The ending exchange was S.U.P.E.R.B:

"You're a Queen guarding a knight, he will be your downfall"

"And your Queen shall be yours"

"Let's see who reaches whose Achilles' heel first"

These two exchange pointed, witty verbal barbs, sharp enough to draw blood, no?

I liked the way Vasundara was reminded of Yashodara, the only person who had managed to break her in the past, when she looked upon a carelessly confident and relaxed, yet purposeful Sanskaar.

So she is Artemis, the one unparalleled in vanquishing and annihilating enemies. By the way, I really liked your juxtaposition of the Artemis and Apollo theme if the first section, with the sunrise in the next section (Apollo Rising 😛) bringing light and warmth into SwaSan's first morning together. The wonderful romance...😉

As you know, I am also a major fan of sunrises (sunsets too, come to that), so I just loved the descriptions here. The tender moment of togetherness and contentment on the eve of a dangerous battle---superb! This is what I loved exploring in my Mahabharata series also---you & I share so many interests, Saku, my God. 🤗 🤗Out of curiosity, are you a fan of full moon nights as well? U have a few OS's where I have described this setting. It wouldn't surprise me in the least to have this as another common interest!

Tell me something---in the first section (Artemis), who is the person signing over those papers to Vasundara? Is it Durga Prasad? Didn't seem like him.

I loved the way you had described Vasundara literally getting all the Maheshwaris' hackles up in the last section (Breached Heaven), before Sanskaar made his entry. She really knows the pressure points to hit, doesn't she? And what is this deep secret of the past I wonder, where they had tried to shoot her off? Annapurna and Yashodara both involved in trying to bump off their sister in law? Seems unlike Yashodara...

And how was Durga Prasad involved in this plot, I wonder. He seems to have been, since he blanched at the remark as well.

So if I get the family tree right, Adya Biyani is first cousin to Adarsh and Lakshya (His father being Annapurna's brother). And first cousin to Sanskaar, too (His mother being Chandraraj's sister, not that Sanskaar considers him his father, but still...). I take it there is no sense of kinship there whatsoever. 😆 With Vasundara in the picture, would not be.

And despite the cataclysmic revelations of Sanskaar's parentage, he and Lakshya/ Adarsh are still first cousins (Yashodara being Annapurna's sister). 😊

I'm just rubbing my hands in glee. Somewhere, this tale of feuding cousins reminds me of the Mahabharata all over again, though the parallels are obviously not exact. Can I please stick to me favorite theory, and hypothesize that Sanskaar is being subjected to a pincer attack by two of his cousins---Adya and Lakshya? I can never expect Lakshya to be up to any good.
