Saku dear...for me, the standout sentence in this chapter was Sanskaar's statement to "Kavita" 😛: "I fear losing her, for I know it would hurt me far, far more than it did when I thought I lost you. You possess a few very beautiful memories--but she possesses my life". 👏 👏 👏 Standing ovation, darling.
That was it, right there. The concerned Sanskaar, showing empathy and concern for his past love--which, really, as he admits to her, asking her for her understanding and forgiveness, wasn't really love at all. One can't help but respect the man for laying down his ugly truth bare for all to see, who admits to Kavita that while he found her a warm and lovely personality, he was willing to elope with her, start a life with her mostly as an escape from the winterland, the crown he so hated. And that guilt, the thought that it was this attempt that had killed her, had haunted him for five long years, driven him to a beastly war to get her "justice" to rid himself of guilt. But finally, all that guilt itself was misplaced...and in the course of that war, he found his very life again...that portrayal was so very powerful.
Sanskaar is willing to help Kavi move on and move away, but the way he calmly told her that he is no longer her destination, nor is she his; since he belongs to another now, has submitted completely and utterly to Swara's love for him, and his love for her---again, mindblowing. 👏 👏
I also loved the steely warning Sanskaar conveyed to "Kavita" 😛: that if she dared try to harm Swara, he would forget all about their past, and treat her just as a foe, an enemy to be vanquished, to protect his love against. That's the steely Sanskaar we know. 😉
I loved the SwaSan conversation, their lovely understanding and passionate interaction which rounded off the chapter. That whole bit about Swara telling Sanskaar his punishment for isolating her in a mistaken effort to keep her safe, was lovely. 😊 So she passes sentence, that there are to be no more individual wars for him, no more secrets he holds back from her. 😉
And the way she reassured him that the mistakes he made weren't due to any tainted genes he fears he got from Chandraraj, but rather because he loves with his entire heart, mind and soul, just as Ram does---that was so lovely. And even lovelier was her promise--that she'd be right by him, holding his hand, to ensure he doesn't lose himself in either guilt or love. She would keep him sane, keep him afloat. And yeah, that bit about not being able to choose someone who is so much a part of the very fabric of your being, was wonderful too.
That's so profound in a way, because we always look at choosing things or people who are external to us. The thought of choosing something or someone so intrinsic to oneself may not even occur...because there is really no choice there, after all...
The last bit, where Swara and Sanskaar finally surrender to each other, the meeting of the wind and the flames, was poetically lovely. Very beautifully conceived and executed Saku. A pleasure to read it, truly.
I think I have rambled on and on...I started identifying parts of the chapter that stood out for me, what I particularly loved, and I think I have written a precis of about a half of the entire update! 😆
Waiting for the next chapter, dear! 🤗 🤗

Oh My God Saku...
Are you for real?
Gosh, I'm so lost in the miraid of emotions you're taking us to.
I hate my Exams... No wait... I loathe them...
Had it not been them, I would have never missed This journey to the Battle field with the Frost Knight and his Queen.. God, I so hate myself for this..
But I'm glad in one way, that I read all in a go and I've joined the journey better late than never...
I'm Speechless... Word.
I all literally feel like fighting the world to come to you and give you a Tight Hug so that I can convince myself that You're for REAL... God, I Love you ^power infinity...
Now I'm waiting for the End Game...
Being a Chess player, I just loved the way you connected the wonderful game with our SwaSan... Yes, in this game of brain, I personally love Knight for he having more stronger and wiser than the King himself to protect the King... And I'm thankful to you for making Sanskar the Knight and Shona his Queen...
I'm irrevocably in love with each and every lines, no, every Words, no, every Letters of this Masterpiece... Every time, I tell myself that this could have been your best, you simply prove me wrong and I'm super glad that you're.
If I start with all the 6 chapters, which I so badly want to, I would end up spamming your thread, which I definitely don't want to. So maybe, I'll pour my writings as a PM...
Waiting for the End Game and my selfish mind wants it to again end up being a middle game so that it won't end soon...
Thank you so much for this Saku...

So much happened in the last 3 chapters...I don't know from where to begin!!
Sharmistha was an unexpected one the greyness of her character!! How she was instrumental in janki's death and also how she cheated Swara into signing those papers...kind of justifies Shekhar and his mom's hatred and prejudice.
So did Swara return to the maheshwari house or are they somewhere else?
Sanskaar has opened his cards in front of vasundhara too and all set to battle her and kavita...so now wht happens next!
Pls do pm Sakura...hv not got fr last 3 chapters
loved it.
