Ragini's pov::
I knew the person who could help me. Yes he will.
I started walking towards papa's room.
He was reading a book. I knocked.
Ragini-" papa kya hum ander aa sakte hai? "
He closed the book and looked at me.
Shekhar-" haan ragini aao na"
I entered his room. This room always gave me feelings of maa near me and today I needed her most.
Shekhar-" kya hua beta kuch kehna tha"
My palms were wet. I was sweating but I had no other choice.
Ragini-" papa hame ye shaadi nahi karni "
Shekhar-" lekin tum hi to ye shaadi karna chahta thi na"
I was surprised. Why would he think that?
Ragini-" nahi papa hum to sirf dadi.."
Shekhar-" oh! To ye sab maa ne kiya hai?
Ragini-" papa aap unse naraaz mat hona bas ye shaadi rukwa dijiye "
Shekhar-" tum jao beta jaake so jao mai kal maa se baat karunga "
I was very happy. I could sleep peacefully. I knew papa won't make me do anything I don't want to. I lied down and soon fell asleep.
In the morning.
I was very excited to go to the college. Because of this marriage drama I had missed two days. I got ready and came out. Dadi was setting the table. Papa hadn't talked to her yet it was very evident.
I was sneaking out when someone came in front of me. It was the jewellery ki dukaan " mummy " ka beta.
He-" ragini "
Why was he taking my name so lovingly? I was getting a little annoyed.
Ragini-" I am getting late I have to go"
He-" mai tumhe drop kar deta hu ragini "
Ragini-" no thanks ma khud..."
Dadi-" arre Ravi beta itni subah subah yaha ke kar rahe ho?"
Ragini-" aap dono baat kijiye mai chalti hu"
Ravi-" dadi maa aap ragini se kahiye na mai usse college drop kar deta hu"
Daadi maa..like really?
Ye meri daadi ko daadi kyu keh raha hai?
Daadi-" haan laado Ravi pe ek bohot achhi car hai wo tujhe chod dega"
Ragini-" lekin daadi..."
She rolled eyes at me. Lo ab to Jana padega
Ragini-" jaldi chale mai late ho rahi hu"
Ravi-" jaisa tum kaho ragini "
Why was this guy so creepy?
He was scaring me with his eyes.
I walked out if the house.
In Ravi's car
We were very silent in the car. I just wanted this journey to end. Finally he spoke
Ravi- " ragini pta hai mujhe to tum photo dekhte hi pasand aa gayi thi"
Photo?.. Shayad dadi ne di hogi.
Ravi- " tumhari aankhein mai to tumhari tasveer se bhi baat karne laga tha"
I couldn't breathe. I just wanted to get out of the car.
Ravi- " mai kabse bol raha hu tum bhi to kuch bolo"
Ragini-" aap pareshaan mat ho mujhe yahi utaar de mai bus se chali jaungi."
Ravi- " nahi mai tumhe college drop karunga"
Ragini-" mera college.. "
I was about to give him direction when he said.
-" mai tumhara college janta hu ragini "
I did not say anything after that. The car reached the gate and I got out his car. I wanted to run fast. When he stopped me.
Ravi- " ragini "
Ragini-" kya?"
I was visibly annoyed. Why couldn't he see that?
Ravi- " tumse milkar mujhe bohot khushi hui. Hum ab milte rahenge"
I did not say anything. Once papa talks to dadi I won't see him ever again.
