🤗 Thanks Medha for this lovely OS. The end warmed the heart even as the main parts nuanced out Swara's loneliness without her husband and best friend.
Liked your take on what Swara has thought to be the crux of the problem..of friendship that can be unconditional and boundless..but love that requires nourishment. Its simply but beautifully expressed.⭐️This Sanskaar still lived up to his promise to be there for his gal, despite the misunderstandings and the breakup, and had the courage and the love to gift her what he had promised... its wonderful and so heartening.😃 With a bond is honoured, despite all odds, how can love remain unfulfilled?Stories like these, bind us to Swasan.😳.

Lovely one, Medha! It was very touching! 🤗Love likes to be expressed. Love wants return. Even the most unconditional love... ❤️That is my favorite part! I am not able to quote your post...don't know why!

Now off to give a detailed reply to your comment on my Dyuta Parva thread. 😊 Had given a brief one yesterday, but you know me and my allergy for typing long replies on my phone. 😊

Medhu my dear...🤗 🤗 I miss your writing a lot, now that you are on partial hiatus from the forum. Those lovely, slice of life moments, capturing the deceptive simplicity and often underrated "normalcy" of a married couple's life---no one does it better than you do.
So did you have this written down before? Or did the idea strike you when you came online few days back, to wish your FB buddies for Christmas? 😊 Lovely how you wove in that touch of Swara's past cheery memories with Sanskaar, "appointing him as her cameraman", with her poignant realization in the present, that not having him cheering her on, proudly smiling at her, dulled the whole graduation ceremony for her.
That's so true of life isn't it: our achievements, our successes, are always sweeter when we have someone special to share them with; someone in whose eyes we can see the pride and joy in us having succeeded at something. Loved it, Medhu...
And I loved that line about love 😊---how even the most unconditional of loves can get tired of not being reciprocated. May get hurt at the constant unrequited nature of a one sided devotion.
The ending offered hope, with Sanskaar keeping his promise. Having come to the graduation, and though he didn't meet Swara, sat somewhere out of sight, clicking all the pictures he could. The love is so obviously there, now we've to just hope Swara assures him that he is priority for her. Not her blasted missions, her rescue endeavors, and her jasoosi about bade papa's sowing of wild oats 25 to 30 years ago. 🤢 Will this girl ever learn?
