Saku 🤗With renewed apologies for this tardiness, I am here finally and hooked already. I'm commenting as I read on and even on parts I've read before I'm re-reading and commenting chapter by chapter as you know I like to do on your work!Chapter 1- gripping especially to a lawyer as you can imagine! The darkness in SK's soul, the lovely touch of making him overhear the conversations which tell the reader how he's perceived were superbly done. What was even more superb was the sheer flow of words here! I loved the descriptions, your the mastery of imagery anyway but I could see old Mr Singh and just the whole setting came to life. And what an intro to introduce RagLak and Swara and DP 👏. One more epic tale from you so I'll read on and share my 2 pennies as I go on!Chapter 2 - I so love the way you develop a mystery. This really has the same feel one gets when first dipping into master works like Agatha Christie for example. I so like SK, he's the sarcastic Sanskaar I adore whose wit is caustic and his hidden pain so mesmerising. Always liked the interaction between Shomi and Sanskaar and the groundwork here is laid so well. Also the VK - SK subtle bro ace reminds me of Jay-Veeru, as random as that may be!!Chapter 3 - this is the stuff that epic love stories are made of and this certainly had that raw power and foreboding which foretells that. The whole thing was magic. SK is lost before he knows it. You wrote of crackling chemistry and it sure as hell literally blazed from my iPad screen in the SwaSan scene. The starting comparison to Snow White was guaranteed to hook me. I have a real fascination for the dark undertones of well known "fairy" tales, be that SW or Red Riding or Hensel & Gretel as well as many others. This had some master touches like how SK is trying to rationalise his increasing desire to see Swara for example; like I said he's losing himself. That scene at the end was ooohh- spine tinglinglh good. Her tears, his reflexive actions and their connect- I am drowning in a sea of delicious already!Chapter 4 - when something starts with " Had we met on the other side of the moon, visible to all and lit by the sunlight, ..." you know it's going to be beyond amazing! This Swara I like as I usually do in your ffs. She's perceptive and I know she will have made glaring errors of judgement to get where she is but that's more to the discredit of others rather than hers I feel. I love the move of showing how she has come to already rely on SK - the foundation for a perfect partnership is already set and set so well. I don't need to be a lawyer to applaud the masterful court room scene but as a lawyer I have to doff my hat at it. I can't describe how much good court room dramas call to me (surely more than obvious I guess!) but also how much bad ones irk me. This one was so far on the side of the former that I was literally feeling transformed into SK, I was there and was pulling the information from a soon made hapless Ragini and also the person sat as audience lapping it all up. It will sound very odd to say this but I have been told multiple times (including right at the start of my professional skills course advocacy module) that I start off being very nice to people in x-exam and then turn brutal suddenly, only to swap back to being nice again. It's something born out of instinct for me coupled with what I have observed brings me results but reading this described with SK was making me punch the air in delight at some many points where I knew he had Ragini! Simply amazing chapter Saku! Laksh Maheshwari is so outclassed in every which way!Chapter 5 - Awww, that banter! SK's cutting sarcasm but clearly underlaid with a burgeoning softness already, Swara's ready retorts, his ridiculously cute excuse that he needs maid- such balm after the high voltage court drama and uuurgggh can I hate shekhar more?!!! However I sense something lurking here and twists coming? To be honest even Shomi annoyed me, she is so weak when it comes to her ridiculous relation with spineless SG! But well it gave our destined pair their needed excise so I'll rejoice in that. But also I sense something more with Shomi, like something else lurking and I can't put my finger on it yet. Ah well let me read on! You'll reveal with your usual panache I know!Chapter 6 - the description of the changed Swara was so effective. Once again, I so loved how your developing the SwaSan equation. The banter to distract her from her grief, the gesture in both understanding her missing her mum and making her call her and then my favourite- the handkerchief!!! And oh of course this Swara is normal and has functioning hormones so the attraction is registered and even though she of course rebuffed it asap it's there now! So Mr LM now knows Swara is living with SK and SK has taken a giant leap in figuring out a key clue! Nicely done as ever!Chapter 7 - oh wow!! Sounds innane but I promise my reaction is anything but. How did you manage all that in that perfectly formed chapter? Serious respect! The whole beginning with the inadvertent candle light dinner was more romantic than any planned cliched date. Their total connect with each other and SK's real fear of her to the point of saying he hates her eyes, which screams so loudly that he is obsessed with her and her eyes are pulling him in inexorably, to his actual apology were so dreamy. They are so falling in love and the scene with the dishes was so charged despite its innocence- I love scenes like that. In the beginning stages those have the tingling quality that even later overt expressive ones can lack. There was irony too in that Sanskaar (I now see him as that, SK is fading away) calls her Casper but he's the ones moving through the walls around her heart! The convo at the end with uttara first and Ragini later was really well done too and I like that he wants to talk to Swara now and isn't angry that she overheard. She's creeping through his life and heart and he doesn't mind it.I'll end commenting here for now as my sister is furious at me for ignoring everyone for so long on Xmas night during family time but I'll finish the rest asap! And I'm so sorry, I reserved above but in my total absorption with this wonderful story, I started posting anew! I'm so addicted I'll read this all off tonight and then comemnt as soon as I can! Mmmwah

SakuI'm back with my remaining comments in stages as I promised. Sorry if this is frustrating but I'm snatching time here and there and I can't do justice to rushed comments on your work from the phone hence this approach!Chapter 8 - what a chapter! The impact of a whole book in one chapter almost! I'm so in love with these late conversations between these two. The repartee just flows and the secrets are revealed, walls between them destroyed forever. Aha!!! So Swara isn't shekhar's daughter! I was right that something was off there and it was this. Like the way the show track is reworked here and it has such a convincing pathos to it. Also Sanskaar relating to that- him an unwanted child too?! Hmmm. The Icarus references here are at their most powerful and the impact too. The whole scene between them is utterly compelling and oh gosh that kiss!! That's truly shocking in a way as you warned but also feels so totally right and natural at that point in the story, it seemed there wasn't anything else that could happen!Chapter 9 - so it starts with where the previous left off and boy what a pleasant shock and surprise it was that Swara was the one who did what we have come to expect from Sanskaar in the show! She owned her love and didn't back away from it and disregarded his attempt at masking what it really is. I loved this! And I also loved that SK too absorbed that and wasn't able to stay immune for long. The whole explanation of why he fears love was masterful. And of course their then decision to do the only inevitable thing- be together. This then offset so well by the drama the next day with Lakshya finally getting a chance to corner Swara to leak some poison. Oh of course before then as well the investigative scene was just pitched right. But the end of this chapter was the reveal stage 1 for Swara. Now the test of how their relationship tackles things will come.I have to sleep now but will comment on 10 and onwards tomorrow on this same post:)Chapter 10 - really like how SK has Vic to talk sense to both the stubborn mules here. I loved how you played the scene of SK's big reveal to Sanskaar although as I said above, to me he became that before when he was with Casper and I started seeing them as SwaSan anyway. This line, "By choosing my side you had just entered an arena of war Miss Gadodia, here either you'd be my sword or his shield, either way you will bleed. " I particularly found impactful. I liked the way you twisted what we get on the show to make it so much more real and also heartfelt in terms of Sanskaar being so affected by the tears but holding back for her protection. The next bit too was good. Sanskaar's error in leaving Swara gets her arrested and Sanskaar being SK decides to visit Ragini- the master strategist at work. Action over reflection needed and delivered. Very finely done.Chapter 11 - so many fascinating layers here as you build up to the finale. As you probably know from my writing, I have always had a fascination with Annapurna. I feel she gets wasted in the show and there is an innate dignity about her, that regardless of whether you agree with her or not (and I mainly don't) you can't help but admire something in her. It's what we would call true grit I guess- have you seen the films? Then there was the SK conformation with his father in a territory that should have been hostile to him but he turned the tables with true style by revealing he knows his rights. Then there were the 2 "wham" moments in quick succession. First Sanskaar's confession to Swara- so Sanskaar! Direct but heart meltingly so. And the whole Annapurna angle- even this was layered in itself! First SK's colour blindness! I knew something was up with he files!! Ha! And then Sanskaar not being her son biologically but clearly the child of her heart as we heard from her herself previously! And then finally the fact that the real betrayal was hers. Once again at that point that fab line you used in the beginning "Broken heart, denied love and breached trust are those." when referring to things that made death preferable. Oh and not to forget that mehndi comes into play ahain, this time as a code cracker! Fantastic!Chapter 12 - the crescendo is rising to a pitch now. The court room drama was again totally gripping. I loved the two adversaries battling it out but as the stakes are more than life or death important for Sanskaar he clearly took the lead. I loved now the clues now started stacking up and seeing how Mr Brilliant pieced things together. Vans he created such a good angle to this tale and the whole linking him as actually Ragini's lover and nothing really to do with Swara expect the role that Sanskaar played in the real show was really nice I though. And so Ragini confesses at the end but I don't for one minute believe this is it, she hasn't done it has she?! 😉Finale - the finale was truly masterful. The SwaSan moments of course but the real piece de resistance here was the mother-son interaction and the reveal of why Annapurna Maheshwari is truly a matriarch. Fantastic Saku! And so the jigsaw is finally pieced together! Aha knew it wasn't Ragini and I promise I hadn't been cheating as I read- I never read the end before, it would spoil the journey of the book for me:). So Lakshya all along and the whole charade mainly to protect spoilt rich brat by so many. The ending was as perfect as the rest. These lines were truly deserving of the his splendid fiction: "I knew in later years that we both found what we were looking for that day. I found my destination after flying till my wings gave up and my skies changed. He found his peace and freedom...he found wings to fly away from his tormenting past. We found love, life and each other."Overall, I can't really describe how much I thought of this. It truly deserves a standing ovation. I don't usually compare a writer's works- each one is different and some will undoubtedly appeal more to others than some. A lot of selective processing goes in. For me though, I so enjoyed this, I find it your best work in a splendid collection. Perhaps the legal base to it particularly appealed but it's not just that. I felt like you unfolded a truly spell binding tale and I applaud you for this one dear friend. I will get boringly repetitive but you made me fly very high in the skies much like Icarus and even when I fell in the end when the tale ended, the memories of that flight made it worthwhile:).Lots of love,Shru
Hey sakura! 😉
Sorry my friend. But yes I have thoroughly read the last two updates even if I left my brain somewhere in the middle of my not so good days. 😭 was literally crying to jump and come to the forum and say wow sakura! the chapters are very well written.
You already know that I love court trials 😃 and you make sure of it that not a single emotion is left untouched in your piece of writing. So awesome!!
Every character particularly sk's mom took the charm in the finale. Sk as usual had superbly bowled and durga prasad was out from the field, not leaving him a chance to score even a run. Ragini! Oh poor girl! Trying to save laksh over swara? She spilled it before sk. And laksh no more words- just a tight slap😡 Pyaar karna ka dawaa karta hai? Why didn't he confessed his crimes in front of the court when his love was being humiliated in the court for his crime?
Swara - I totally didn't thought you are going to make her so mature and independent girl😲. That took my heart away. She took her own decision unlike the swara in the show who would after a dozen tortures come back to her baba and cry and forget everything easily.
Well a very long comment indeed but I can't help it my friend. So it was awesome 😃 and outstanding above all sakura!.If you again write something do pm me yaar! I know you do but still. And wishing you a very happy new year! My dearest friend.👏 it was really wonderful.
Lots of love

Hi , i was meaning to read this one for a long time but waited till you finish it, i cant handle the suspense if i have to wait.
After a Swasan less episode , i thought of reading it, i didnt even think i would be able to finish it , i just wanted to start but read all 12 parts in one go. And i absolutely loved it .😃i honestly think this is the first time i read something for this long without a break . 😳. Since i read all the chapters at once i dont think i will be able to write all my thoughts when it comes to this SS.I love how you keep all the characters intact and yet weave an entirely different story with them. As you said Vansh is the only addition . Loved the fact Swara is not Shekhar biological daughter that is an awesome twist , was bit disappointed with not seeing the Strong Sharmistha but it acceptable given the circumstances.I always liked Lawyer vs Prosecutor theme in books, no movies or shows have ever done justice to the theme like books . And i dont have to say how disappointing that concept can be if it used in hindi shows . So the moment i found the concept i was so happy .Everything about this SS was perfect , loved the early stages interaction between Swara and Sanskaar where she refuses to talk to him. But my most favourite has to be the one after the first kiss, Sanskaar dillemma with cross roads i already read thrice before moving to the next chapter.I never expected Lakshya to fall this low and it did shock him but also i had small inclination that the murder would not be ragini .DP well my current hatred for this man made me love the fact he was an antagonist in this SS too😆Loved Vic too , however small his appearance where , i kind of liked his character. Also i was really curious about the case Sanskaar lost and knew it would be around kavitha but that was really an interesting case . honestly i am wowed by your ability to write up two scenarios almost similiar yet different connecting the past and present. 👏I had so many more things i wanted to say when i read the chapters but as i said i dont think i can write it all down anyway. So do write an new SS soon . i always love your works . Be it SQ , IK Icarus ,Elixir and Phoenix
