Part 3..
I was shocked.
I wanted to tell him the truth, that that girl was none other than the one standing infront of him. It was Him who didnt pay attention to her apology.
He found her to be careless. Despite having a wish to tell the truth,I could not utter a word about it.
"Are you listening?"asked sanskaar.
-"Ummm,umm yess, I was thinking..may be that girl did not want to hurt you."
"How could you say that swara?"
-"I...I...I was just thinking.Anyways take care."
"Okay.you too.bye"
He went.I was still lost in what had happened.I slept very late that night.
Days passed,Everything went as usual,still there was not even a single day when I didnt think about him.
How he saved me,How he spoke,how his one look made my heart run, every night I thought about all this.
But the truth was, I didnt even know when I would meet him, whether I would meet him ever or not, i didnt know.
Two weeks later came a letter from a reputed Science university where I had decided to participate in Science project competition.
I was invited to the University next day to appear in a test to qualify for the competition. Science was not my subject or my dream.Actually I was having 4 weeks holiday and was getting bored. I had heard about it so decided to participate as once I was a good science student.
I went for test and succeeded along with 200 other students.We were divided into 20 groups of 10 participants each.
Luckily I was selected as Representative of my group as I secured good marks in test.
Our sir asked all of us to interact with one another. We were a group of 4 boys n 6 girls. I was talking to one of them when our Sir announced
"Here comes your Captain group E, Mr.Sanskaar Maheshwari"
I turned and could not believe what I had heard and what I was looking at.I felt as if my heart was participating in a race.
I was so surprised to find that handsome man there about whom I had lost hope of meeting ever again.
And How could not I see that we were 9 participants? There were 3 boys. 4th was him,The Captain of Group E.Had I really become careless or was it something else?
While I was again lost in thoughts, I heard a voice and realised him standing in front of me.
"Hi,Swara." He had held his hand out for handshake.
-"Hi Sanskaar,How are you?"I asked him putting my hand into his hand.
That first touch! I still can't forget it :)
"I'm fine swara,how are you?"
-"I..I m okay.hows your bruise?"
"Oh! You still remember it?Its fine now." He smiled.
"What happened swara, say something."
-"Sanskaar! You like science!! :o"
"Hahaha,yes, and you are shocked that how I am here right?"
-"yes, are not you shocked to see me?"
"Umm..probably no."
He again left me in a state of shock. This time he left my mouth opened.I mean How could he not be surprised to find me there while I still could not believe him to be there and that too in my group as my captain!!
Before I could ask him anything about it, Sir called him n he went.
At that moment all I knew was that we both were going to be togother all the time till the end of the project. And this thought made me breatheless.
Things had changed alot since few days. Since The day I have met him,I was changed. Whether I agreed or not, but something was there. A sort of connection or what, I didnt know but the truth was; I was happy to be with him.whenever I thought about him,there was a constant smile on my face. I didnt know whether he felt the same or not. Nothing was known what would happen in next few days.
An hour later we were told about our project. It was on energy conservation.
Everybody started discussing about it but I was still looking for him.He was no where. He might have went for some work. We had to start our project from the next day and Were asked to go back to our homes.
I came back. Whole day I was smiling. Thinking about our first meeting, about our first handshake, about him not being surprised, i could hardly sleep.
Next day I woke up early in the morning with a sweet smile on my face. I knew I was going to meet him again today. I was going to work with him all the day :)
I went to the University. I found my room number from the notice board and went inside. I looked for him and what I saw again surprised me. Uff he was giving me so many surprises.
He had already started working on the project.He was so hardworking :). I went to meet him.
"Hi sanskaar!"
-"Hi swara! Come and sit here. Look I had made notes on our project."
No doubt he was hardworking but how could he ignore to talk a little to the beautiful girl sitting next to him,huh.
-" Swara! I want to ask you something."
My eyes grew wider.what did he want to ask? :o
"Yes sanskaar"
-"You can't hear properly or you have a habit of getting lost? "He laughed.
":o what!" My eyes grew narrower this time.
-" Haha, just kidding.smile now :)."
Oh he was so sweet. Was taking care of my smile from the very first day of our togethernes.
"By the way, sanskaar how were you not surprised to find me here?"
-" You would never know" he laughed again.
I didnt ask him again. And started working with him.All of us were making strategies about how to win that competition.
Three days later. We had divided our works. I some how managed to work with him ;) but there had not been much interaction between us.
I was cutting a plastic sheet ,LOST in HIS thoughts, I accidently cut my hand.I cried in pain. He immediatly jumped from his seat and ran towards me and held my hand in his hands.
"Oh Swara,Cant you work carefully?"
He took out his hanky and tied it around my hand. I had almost forgotten about my pain and had lost into him. I was looking at him.
"Swara!! Are you okay now? Is it still hurting?"
-" No...no sanskaar I m fine now."
"Hmm,why you girls are so careless? Why are you always lost into something?"
-" No, sanskaar it happened because of you!" Oh no! What I had said :D
"What! Because of me?"
-"No... No... I mean it happened because I thought to do it faster so that you dont scold me afterwards"
"Scold? Why would I scold you Swara?you girls always put blame on innocent boys."
"Haww! Innocent and you!" I started laughing.
"Okay okay,be careful now. We have to complete this in next four days for our first round. We can participate in next round only if we succeed in this"
I wanted to win this round.actually I wanted to win every round so that I can be with him for more and more time .
Four days were over. We were complete with our project. It was time for examination of it and results. I was worried.what if we do not succeed?
