Indian relationships are weird. My take is if Sanskaar was forgiven for gross negligence and intentionally harming Swara pre- wedding. Laksh can be forgiven for his stupidity in being manipulated by Ragini - esp when Swara is also being fooled and manipulated big time by her sister. Swara talks about Laksh impulsiveness - watch her run to Laksh's aid in tomorrow's episode.

The question really is who does Swara really love - Sanskaar or Laksh and the answer is not based on who is the better person - its based on chemistry, and other factors. Swara needs to get out of the house examine her head and move on with her life and stop messing Laksh and Sanskaar's life more than she already has. She does not love Sanskaar but is living with him - fasting for him - all while knowing the marriage is not going to last - thats more yikes than Laksh telling Swara his so - called bhabi he loves her - esp while bhabi herself does not consider the marriage as one that will last. Swara does not want to lie - her whole relationship with Sanskaar is a big fat lie. Swara by stupidly trusting Ragini and imposing her gnaan on the family has single handedly messed up everyone's life. She should have remained at the badi and not come back to Maheshwari house. Her character has become annoying and stupid and preachy. I liked the Laksh Swara pair but am begining to think Laksh is better of with the vile Ragini - she's dangerous but you got to admit razor sharp and intelligent and has all three dancing to her tune - right now she's better than the blind stupid self righteous dual standards stuck up Swara.

And ipkrr, a VERY good point you raised is that, How come Swara keeping Karwa Chauth and living with someone she does not love or has no intention to stay with, is not puke-worthy?

And here I say for the umpteenth time---I'm not justifying Lucky's over-zealousness. But that being said, drugging, making MMS cannot be compared to that in any way.

I don't think anyone denies that Sanskaar did many wrongs. He himself knows that and he has always been shown to be guilt ridden. I think people have fallen in love with Sanskaar because along with apologizing he also tries to do everything he can to redeem himself through his actions. Sanskaar realized that he was doing wrong to Swara at the time he was targeting her. Finally he did put a stop to it. He did not stop because Swara lectured him, he felt bad for her before that and saved her from the witch after which she told him to give up on revenge. Even God forgives a person when they truly ask for forgiveness and promise to never repeat those actions. Sanskaar deserves forgiveness but he knows he is yet to get his just desserts (of which the fact that Swara will not love him is punishment as is).

I think if Lakshya had done the same where he tried to seek forgiveness not just by saying sorry but by proving he his sorry through his actions then he would not receive so much flack from everyone. The issue with Lakshya is that he has continuously projected himself as the victim when he is the one to blame for his actions. No one put a gun to his head threatening him to marry Ragini. All he had to do was listen to Shomi, Dida, and Sanskaar and just wait for Swara on his wedding day. Yes, he was manipulated but that just shows how weak his trust on Swara was. A man in his mid-20s knows how to utilize his own mind yet Lakshya's voice of reason had forsaken him.
