Ragini and Laksh look at each other.

Ragini: tum essa sab kyun kar rahey ho

Laksh: dost essey hi to hotey hain na

Ragini: magar tum ne to humein challenge samjha tha dost nahi

Laksh: plz ragini bhool jao na hum phir se fresh start nahi kar saktey kya?

Ragini: pehli aur aakhri baar chance de rahey hain humara dil mat todna ok?

Laksh: kabhi nahi. Acha kal subha ready rehna tumhe pick karney aaon ga

Ragini: arey kyun?

Laksh: tumhe dance classes pe chod doon ga

Ragini: arey nahi hum chaley jayein ge tum fikr nahi karo

Laksh: iss ka matlab tum ab bhi naraz ho?

Ragini: nahi essa nahi hai

Laksh: to phir kal subha 12 o'clock

Ragini: ok thanks for the flowers n teddy bears

Laksh: no worries ab me chalta hoon

Laksh goes to his house and cannot stop thinking about Ragini's smile that she gave him and he thinks of the picnic moments... After a while, he thinks of calling her to hear her voice.

Laksh: arey mere paas to Ragini ka number hi nahi hai! Ussey prank karta hoon

Laksh calls Ragini's dance academy and gets her number from there saying that he is her relative.

Laksh in an old man's voice: hellooo

Ragini: ji kaun?

Laksh: arey Ragini beta me hoon tumhara purana padosi Mela Ram

Ragini: kya? Kaun mela ram?

Laksh: arey tum bhool gayi humari godh mein kheli thi tum

Ragini recognises the voice and says: oh Mela Ram uncle hum aap ko kese bhool saktey hain!

Laksh gets confused: oh haan dekha yaad aaya na

Ragini: ji bilkul aap ki patni kesi hain

Laksh: haan theek hai woh

Ragini: par hum ne to suna tha wo kuch saal pehle guzar gayi

Laksh: wo me nahi me rakhta hoon mujhe kaam hai

Ragini laughs whereas Laksh is very confused and says: yeh Mela Ram kahan se paida ho gaya yaar

In the morning, he sees Ragini and she is waiting outside the baadi

Ragini: itney late kyun aaye Mela Ram hum kab se intezaar kar rahey they

Laksh: wo actually main... Ek minute! Tumhe kab pata chala?

Ragini: tumhari nakli si awaz se aur kese

Laksh: ohhh (he itches his head)

Ragini: tumhe humara number kahan se mila?

Laksh: i have my ways

Ragini laughs and he drops her to her classes... Laksh and Ragini start to become very close and every single day, Laksh drops her and picks her up but when he tries to pay her bills, she always refuses and he thinks that he should give her some time to take the next step.

Laksh and Ragini have laughs and share stuff with each other so much that they do not have time for anyone else. Laksh falls in love with Ragini but Ragini still takes him as a friend.

One day when Ragini is in the dance class, she sees a man dressed in sherwani falling down and people start making fun of him. She comes to him and picks him up.

Ragini: uncle aap theek to hain na? Tum sab kya tamasha dekh rahey ho halo bhaago yahan se! Agar tumhare maa ya papa girtey to tum essey nahi hanstey! Chalo door jao!

Durgaprasad (DP): beta shukriya

Ragini: aap ko kahin lagi to nahi?

DP: nahi beta hum ja rahey they apni meeting me ke thokar lag kar gir gaye. Tum yahan parhti ho beta?

Ragini: nahi uncle hum yahan dance classes ke liye aatey hain

DP: thank u beta help ke liye jeeti raho

Ragini: your welcome uncle agar kissi ne phir se tang kiya to humein bula lijiye ga hum inh ko dekh lein ge

DP laughs and they both go.

When DP reaches home he thinks abot her gesture when nobody helped him. He talks to Annapurna about Ragini and says that she is the type of girl who would be perfect for Laksh

Laksh comes downstairs and DP stops him: beta kabhi humarey sath bhi waqt bita liya karo

Laksh: sorry papa hum aaj kal kuch busy rehtey hain

DP: beta hum ne tumharey liye ek ladki passand ki hai

Laksh: papa yeh aap kesi baatein kar rahey hain

DP: iss mein burayi kya hai ab tumhari umar ho gayi hai

Laksh: papa mein kissi se pyaar karta hoon

DP and Annapurna look at him surprised then DP says: theek hai humein uss ladki se milna hai dinner par bula lo agar humein passand aa gayi to theek hai warna tumhe humari chuni hui ladki se shaadi karni ho gi

Laksh: aap ek baar uss se milein ge to passand kar lein ge

DP: kya wo bhi tum se pyaar karti hai?

Laksh: pata nahi papa

DP: theek hai Laksh to kal hi ussey bula lo

Laksh goes and meets Ragini and she is furious: hum kab se tumhara wait kar rahey they tum itni deer se kahan they

Laksh: sorry woh problem ho gayi thi. Ragini kal tum mere saath ghar chalo gi?

Ragini: ghar?

Laksh: haan mere maa papa tum se milna chahtey hain

Ragini: kyun kuch special hai kya

Laksh: nahi essey hi dinner par please na mat karna

Ragini: theek hai hum tayar rahein ge time par aa jana

Laksh: thank u so much Ragini me time pe aaon ga

He drops her and goes home. He thinks what he should wear for this day and gets excited by thinking that Ragini will come as his dulhan in this house. He closes his eyes and when he opens them, he sees Ragini dressed as a bride sitting next to him. He pinches himself and she disappears. He itches his head and says: Ragini mene kabhi socha bhi nahi tha ke mujhe tum se itna pyaar ho jaye ga... Roz tumhe apney paas dekhney ke liye me jaagon aur humari apni ek choti si duniya ho... I have fallen in LOVE!

Annapurna: mera beta bohat khush nazar aa raha hai!

Laksh hugs her and says: maa kal ka mein besabri se intezaar kar raha hoon.

Annapurna: hum sab ussey dekhna chahtey hain jis ne humarey betey ka dil chura liya

Laksh then goes to sleep and the next day he goes to pick Ragini up and sees her in an anarkali dress which is light pink and beige. He cannot get his eyes off her. Ragini sits in the car.

Ragini: kya hua? Over ho gaya kya?

Laksh: no perfect Ragini tum itni sundar bhi lag sakti ho?

Ragini: hum hain hi sundar

He starts driving and plays the song: har pal meriyaan yaadan vich hai tu... Dheere dheere se meri zindagi me aana...

Ragini is checking herself in the mirror whereas Laksh looks at her

They reach the house and Ragini feels a bit nervous. He opens the door for her.

At the door, annapurna and parineeta are there to welcome her. Ragini feels happy to see such a nice family.

Ragini: hum chotey they jab maa guzar gayi magar aap ko dekh kar maa ki yaad a gayi... Laksh aap ke barey mein bohat batein karta hai... Aur aap parineeta bhabhi hain na?

Parineeta nods and they ask her to come in

Annapurna: mujhe apni maa hi samjho beta

Ragini hugs her

They go in the house and DP comes down and he sees Ragini.

DP: arey beta tum yahan?

She touches his feet and say: uncle aap? Kesey hain aap aur hope dard nahi ho raha jab aap ko lag gayi thi

DP: jeeti raho beta nahi hum theek hain aao betho

They all sit on the table and Annapurna purs food for her. Ragini has teary eyes and Laksh cannot get his eyes off her.

Annapurna: arey beta ro kyun rahi ho?

Ragini: kuch nahi aunty maa ki yaad aa gayi wo bhi essey hi mujhe khaana parosti thi

Anna: beta tum rozaa jaya karo mein tumhe apne haathon se khilaon gi

Ragini: sach mein? Ab to aana hi padey ga... Laksh tum bohat lucky ho itna acha parivaar hai tumhara

They have discussions on Ragini's life and they discuss about what happened in her life before. Everyone is very happy to see that Ragini is a nice girl.

Adarsh takes Laksh to the side: wah bhai! Bhabhi to bohat sundar hai tum dono ki jodi bohat achi lag rahi thi especially jab tu baar baar ussey dekh raha tha

Laksh laughs: bhai tang mat kheencho yahan meri phati pari hai

Adarsh: beta shaadi tak yahi haal ho ga ab

Laksh: shaadi jaldi se karwa do bhai

Adarsh: tujhe to mujh se bhi zyada jaldi hai mujhe bhi itni jaldi nahi thi

Laksh: me to soch raha hoon aaj moharat nikal kar shaadi aur suhagraat sab kuch mana leta hoon

Adarsh: control yourself lucky

Laksh: sorry bhai! Mera woh matlab nahi tha

Adarsh: nautanki

They both laugh

Ragini gets really mixed up with they family and everyone loves her.

Suddenly she gets a call and gets very surprised.

Precap: Ragini stops picking Laksh's calls and then he comes to see her at the baadi after a week when Ragini tells him what happened... He gets shocked!

Ragini tells everyone: bohat acha laga aap sab se mil kar magar Papa ki call aayi hai unhein humari zaroorat hai iss liye humein jana ho ga
Laksh: chalo Ragini me tumhe chod deta hoon
Ragini: nahi hum chaley jayein ge humein lagta hai papa ko koi urgent kaam hai. Sorry everyone
DP: koi baat nahi Ragini beta tumse ghar par mil kar bohat khushi hui aati rehna beta
Ragini: of course uncle Bye everyone
She leaves and Laksh looks at DP everyone is waiting for the decision
DP: laksh yeh to wohi ladki hai jo hum ne passand ki thi hum chahtey hain tum deer na karo aur Ragini beti ko humari bahu bana do
Laksh gets shy and says: um papa mujeh neend aa rahi hai
Laksh goes in his room and everyone laughs
Annapurna: sach me Ragini bohat pyari hai
Adarsh runs after laksh and reaches his room
Adarsh: laksh mujhe lagta hai Ragini tere liye yeh note chod gayi hai
He opens the chit and sees a big I LOVE YOU LAKSH... He recognises the writing os Adarsh and runs after him: bhaaiii
They both laugh and throw pillows at each other then Adarsh leaves and Laksh is holding his pillow thinking of Ragini whilst his eyes r closed and when he opens his eyes he sees Ragini standing in his balcony wearing a saree with sindoor n mangalsutar on her.
Laksh: Ragini? Tum yahan iss waqt?
Ragini just looks in his eyes and the song tumhe apna bananey ka junoon sar pe hai... Kab se hai... Mujhe aadat bana lo ik buri... Kehna yeh tumse hai...
They have an eyelock and laksh holds Ragini's shoulders then tries to kiss her...
She runs away and Laksh follows her when someone opens the door.
Adarsh sees Laksh hugging his pillow and standing in the middle of the room so he starts laughing.
Adarsh: lagta hai bhai tu apni suhag raat par pohanch gaya hai
Laksh suddenly opens his eyes and is in shock realising that he was romancing a pillow...
Adarsh: ahem wese bhai itna besabar to me bhi nahi tha
Laksh: arey nahi bhai me to umm haan neend me chal raha tha?
Adarsh: neend me hi takiye ko kiss bhi kar raha tha
He laughs and says: so ja ab
Laksh thinks he is going crazy and then goes to sleep. He wakes up n thinks he should call Ragini to meet and tell his feelings
He tries to ring Ragini but she does not pick up
He leaves messages but no replies... He thinks that Ragini's dad must be ill or stopping her to meet with him so after waiting for a week, he goes to the baadi and sees Ragini in her modern clothes standing outside
Laksh: Ragini tum yahan? Mene tumhe kitney calls kiye messages chodey aur pata nahi kya kya magar tumhein koi hosh hi nahi
Ragini hugs him and he gets very happy: sorry Laksh magar hum tumharey paas hi aa rahey they. Chalo hum tumhe kuch dikhatey hain. Excitement mein hum bhool hi gaye they tumhe inform karna
A very handsome boy (Abhishek Malik) comes out of the baadi wearing sunglasses, leather jacket, jeans and a white shirt. He hugs Ragini from the back and says: sorry thoda late ho gaya na
Ragini smiles and says: tumhari aadat hi essi hai
Laksh gets jealous seeing them
Ragini: Laksh yeh hai mera childhood best friend Varun jis ko ab ja ke humari yaad aayi
Varun: coffee peene chaltey hain wahin baaki ki baatein kar lein ge
All three of them go to the shop (Ragini is driving and Varun sits next to her while Laksh is annoyed to see him) they sit.
Laksh: to aap itni deer kahan they
Varun: yaar mene socha apney pairon par khada ho jaon phir hi Ragini se miloon ga. Aur dekho me apni baat ka pakka hoon
Ragini: aur ziddi bhi!
Varun: papa ke janey ke baad me himmat haar gaya tha aur me nahi chahta tha ke tum pareshan ho jao. Tumhari pareshani sun kar me wapas aa jata. Magar aaj dekho I have a very well settled business in London aur wesey bhi Shekhar uncle se to me contact me tha unh se tumhari khabar milti thi... Unhein mene hi manah kiya tha tumhe na bataney ke liye
Ragini has teary eyes: itna sab ho gaya aur tum ne aur papa ne humein kuch batana zaroori nahi samjha? Hum aap dono se naraz hain ek Laksh hi humara sacha dost hai
Laksh gets happy hearing this
Ragini: arey hum to intro dena bhool hi gaye. Varun yeh Laksh hai mera sab se acha dost aur meri tanhayi ka sathi
Varun: Laksh thank u so much meri pyaari si Ragini ka khayaal rakhney ke liye u are the best
Varun holds Ragini's hand and tells her: magar best buddy to me hi hoon na tumhara?
Ragini: bano mat ok
Laksh feels uncomfortable and says: ab mujhe lagta hai ke mujhe jana chahiye
Ragini: arey nahi Laksh kyun ja rahey ho coffee to pi lo aur jo bhi lena hai lo aaj bill Varun ko pay karna padey ga mere itney bills hain jo issey abhi pay karney hain
Laksh gets surprised that Ragini never let him pay the bills so why Varun. He then thinks they are childhood friends and meeting after so long that is probably why...
Laksh: nahi actually mene papa ke sath office join kar liya hai to iss liye unhein meri help chahiye hoti hai.
Ragini: sach? I am so happy for u bohat acha kiya tum apney pairon par khadey ho gaye ho
Laksh gets teary eyes: bye Ragini
Varun: bye bro
Varun holds Ragini's hand and they start having conversations and laugh together. Ragini seem very happy and Laksh goes home. Laksh starts hitting his punching bag and thinks about Varun and Ragini. He then thinks Ragini does not love Varun she only loves him and he will tell her as soon as Varun leaves. He thinks that Varun would not be here for a very long time.
The next day, he gets a message from Ragini in the morning
Ragini: good morning
Laksh: morning to good ho gi hi tumharey itney sweet se message ke baad
Ragini reads it and thinks: hum ne to message Varun ko send kiya tha yeh Laksh ne reply... Oh lagta hai ghalati se ho gaya... Koi baat nahi
Ragini calls Laksh: hi kese ho kal kahan gayab ho gaye they tumhe call bhi ki par tum ne pick nahi ki
Laksh: hi wo me kaafi thak gaya tha to socha phone silent pe kar ke so jaon
Ragini: oh ok kal tum kaafi cute lag rahey they apni blue shirt me
Laksh: aur tum to hamesha hi cute lagti ho
Ragini: jhoot mat bolo Varun to keh raha tha hum pagal lag rahey hain
Laksh: ussey kya pata
They giggle and someone knocks at Ragini's door.
Ragini: ek minute Laksh... Kaun?
Varun is standing with flowers: good morning princess
Laksh hears the conversation and Ragini forgets she was on the phone with Laksh...
Ragini: Varun yeh phool humarey liye?
Varun: nahi actually yeh me Papa (shekhar) ke liye laya tha. Of course budhu tumharey liye hain
Shekhar: mere dono bachon tumhein kissi ki nazar na lage
Laksh cuts the phone and is very upset... Then he thinks of meeting Shekhar and ask for Ragini's hand before its too late.
Laksh and DP get ready to come to Ragini's house the same day and when they enter the baadi, they look for Ragini's house but the neighbours tells them they went out. The next day, they come back and shekhar is there.
Laksh enters: Hi uncle me
Shekhar: tum Laksh ho na? Ragini tumharey barey mein har waqt baatein karti hai aao na
Aur aap durga prasad ji? Please baithiye
DP: Ragini nahi dikh rahi?
Shekhar: arey pehle aap munh mitha kijiye hum aap ke ghar aaney hi waley they
Laksh gets happy and thinks they were coming for his rishta
Laksh: par uncle Ragini ne to mujhe kuch bataya hi nahi
Shekhar: bas sab kuch achanak se decide hua
Laksh and DP look at each other.
Laksh: to uncle Ragini?
Shekhar: haan wo Varun ke sath sagayi ki tayari karney gayi hai
Laksh: sagayi? Abhi to kuch teh bhi nahi hua hai
Beta kya teh karna hai unh dono ka mere siwa iss duniya me kaun hai?
Laksh: dono?
Shekhar: haan Varun ne kal mujh se Ragini ka haath manga aur phir Ragini ko propose kiya. Ragini nahi maani phir uss ne Ragini ko apni shart batayi ke papa humarey saath hi rahein ge hamesha. Phir Ragini ne ussey galey lagaya aur meri poori chinta door kar di ke mere baad uss ka kaun khayaal rakhey ga... Varun itney saalon se Ragini se pyaar karta tha magar uss ne apney aap ko uss se door rakha dono ke bhawishya ke liye. Aur ab to mujhe yakeen ho gaya hai ke Ragini bhi zaroor Varun ka hi intezaar kar rahi thi aaj tak.
Laksh gets shattered by hearing this and he goes out and tears roll down his cheeks.
DP: maaf kijiye ga Shekhar ji humein jana ho ga
Shekhar: arey magar kuch kha kar to jaiye
DP: nahi bas ab hum chaltey hain
Shekhar understands that Laksh loves Ragini but he doesn't say anything because he feels that Ragini loves Varun and not Laksh
Laksh runs from DP and goes near a river... He sits there for hours thinking of the first time he saw Ragini, their talks, he cute gestures like putting her hair away from her face... He cries a lot and says: kyun god essa kyun kiya aap ne mere saath? Yeh Varun yahan kyun aaya poori zindagi humari zindagi se door rehta to acha hota.
Then he calms himself down: Ragini tum bohat pyaari ho tumhe duniya ki sab khushiyan milni chahiye. Agar tum Varun se pyaar karti ho to me tum dono ki shaadi karwaon ga.
He drinks a lot and says: i love u Ragini I love u a lot
He then faints. Ragini and Varun are in the car amd see him. They pick him up and are shocked to see him in this state.
Laksh: hawww Ragini congrats han tum ne to bataya nahi mene pata kar liya
Then he laughs
Varun: issey kya hua
Ragini: pehli baar hum Laksh ko essi haalat me dekh rahey hain
Varun: chalo issey ghar chod dete hain
They drop him home n when Annapurna sees him, she starts to cry
Ragini: nahi maa plz mat roiye hum Laksh ki achey se class lein ge kal wo essa phir nahi karein ge
Annapurna: Ragini bohat Mubarak ho tumhara rishta teh ho gaya
Ragini: ji maa yeh Varun hain mere honey waley pati
They all take Laksh in his room then Ragini and Varun leave.

Precap: the engagement happens and Laksh smiles but he is actually hiding his sadness... He thinks that Ragini can never come back in his life now...

This starts with Laksh waking up and thinks he made a horrible dream that Ragini was about to get engaged.
Laksh: lagta hai bura sapna tha! Aaj to mujhe Ragini se kehna hi parey ga
He goes downstairs and sees Annapurna preparing a basket of fruits and clothes.
Laksh: maa aaj kuch khaas hai kya? Yeh sab tayariyan
Annapurna: beta Ragini ki maa nahi hai na to me uss ke liye yeh sab tayaar kar rahi hoon bulava jo aaya hai humein special guest ka niyota aaya hai aur Ragini ne khaas kaha he ke tum bagair piye aao ge aur zaroor aao ge
Laksh gets shocked and looks at the card...
Laksh: maa mujhe nahi jana hai
He gets a call from Ragini
Ragini: laksh hum tum se bohat naraz hain! Tumhari himmat kese hui peeney ki? Kaunsi aafat aa gayi thi jo tumhe peena para? Tum hum se maar khao ge!
Laksh: nahi Ragini woh mein
Ragini: humein kuch nahi sun'na tum aaj shaam ko aa rahey ho hum se milney aao ge hi humari mangni hai humein apney dost ki zaroorat hai iss waqt
Laksh: meri meeting
Ragini: meeting kis ke saath han? Sharaab ke sath? Humein kuch nahi sun'na tum actually abhi aao humein nervousness feel ho rahi hai...
Laksh: ok Ragini me maa aur Papa ke sath aata hoon
Ragini: thaks Laksh I love u (she puts the phone down)
Laksh: I love u too Ragini
He gets very upset but gets ready to go and meet Ragini. They reach the baadi and Laksh looks for Ragini
Shekhar: arey itna sab kya zaroorat thi DP ji
Annapurna: kyun bhai sahab main Ragini ki maa nahi hoon kya? Meri bhi beti ki khwahish poori ho gayi
Shekhar: bohat shukriya Ragini ko bohat acha lagey ga yeh sab dekh kar
Laksh: uncle Ragini kahan hai
Shekhar: beta wo tumhara wait kar rahi hai apney kamrey main jao beta
Laksh goes is Ragini's room and he gets mesmerised by seeing her. She is wearing a turquoise ghagra with a top and chiffon dupatta on one side. She has curls in her hair and her makeup is done beautifully. She struggles to tie her dori and can't reach. She sees Laksh and says: thank god tum aa gaye plz humari madad kar do na merey hath hi nahi pohanch rahey
Laksh doesn't say anything and comes close to her. He toes her dori and tears run down his eyes. He puts his hands on Ragini's shoulders and she turns around.
Ragini: thank you Laksh tum aaye mein bohat nervous thi achanak se Varun ne mujhe propose kar diya aur mujhe pata nahi chal raha tha ke me kese react karoon
She puts her hands on her face and gets shy: Varun ne kal hum se kaha ke itney saalon se unh ki saanson par sirf humara naam likha tha aur wo hum se bohat pyaar kartey hain issi liye unhon ne papa se hamesha touch me rehtey they ke meri pareshanion ka unh ko pata chaley magar apney dukhin ki parchayi hum par kabhi nahi parney di.
Laksh closes his eyes and he is in pain. He is broken from inside and when Ragini opens her eyes and sees Laksh
Ragini: Laksh tumhein kya hua tum theek ho na? Me to poochna bhool gayi tum ne pi kyun thi
She hugs him: agar koi bhi baat hai to tum humein bata saktey ho hum tumharey dost hain na aur sab se achey dost! Humari shaadi ke baad me tum humarey liye utney hi mainey rakho ge jitna aaj
Laksh: kuch nahi Ragini wo
Ragini: batao Laksh dukh baantney se kam hota hai
Laksh: jis ladki se me pyaar karta tha uss ne shaadi kar li
Ragini: kyaa? Arey tum pehle batatey uss ko mandap se utha letey hum dono! Bhaga kar tumhari shaadi karwa letey
Laksh: ab kuch nahi ho sakta
Ragini: nahi hum tumhari shaadi uss se bohat achi ladki se karwayein ge
Laksh: wo to mumkin nahi ho ga. Acha chodo bohat sundar lag rahi ho aaj bilkul different
Ragini: saaach? Thanks!!! You are my best friend!
Laksh: hamesha essey hi muskurati rehna Ragini
Shekhar, DP and Anna (annapurna) come in.
They all look at Ragini and say she is looking gorgeous.
Anna: meri beti ko nazar na lage kissi ki
She gives her the gifts she bought for her And Ragini cries.
Anna: beta aaj roney ka din nahi hai
Ragini: pata hai maa aaj humein apni maa ki kami mehsoos nahi ho rahi
Anna hugs Ragini but sees Laksh's pain
Anna: sach me Varun bohat kismat wala hai ke ussey meri beti jessi patni milney wali hai
Shekhar: mehman aaney waley hain mujhe neechey jana chahiye
DP: hum bhi aap ke sath chaltey hain shekhar ji
