Goal

It was down to the last two minutes of the game and the Bengal Tigers were tied with the Flaming Eagles. Sanskaar was standing in front of the goalie, readying his position and waiting for the referee to blow the whistle so that he could take his shot. It was down to this one kick. If he made it, then it would give his team an advantage and they could make it to the Regional's. If not, they had another chance in the remaining two minutes left for the game, but the odds didn't like look they were in their favor.

He wiped the sweat off his face and concentrated on the clear and inviting net behind the goalie. It could go in any multitude of ways. The goalie could either catch the ball, block it, swat it, kick it, or miss it entirely. Oh how he hoped that it was the last one.

"Don't worry Sanskaar," Swara's voice came floating back to him. "Just think of the net as not only your literal goal but also your metaphorical. Yeah, it's imperative that you get the ball in at this one crucial moment in time, but that doesn't mean you're not going to get other opportunities. Life isn't that cruel. It will always give you multiple chances to get what you want. It's up to you to see the window of opportunities when they come and to formulate the circumstances around you to ensure that you attain your goal this time around. One moment of failure isn't going to dictate your entire life Sanskaar. It's merely a moment that came and went."

The referee blew the whistle.

The time started ticking.

Sanskaar kicked the ball.
