A fitting finale!! I absolutely loved it. SQ is one of the best stories I have read. I will truly miss this.

The way you associated the start of winter to beginning of spring to the their journey of self discovery was beautifully done. Ragini's musings were so beautifully put. Even in defeat, she rolled the dice once last time. And this time the prize would be nothing other than the satisfaction of seeing them suffer just like she is.

Sanskaar's letter to Swara touched my heart. From the king, he became her sword. Through the war, he endured a lot. This endurance polished him to be a better person. And this transformation was so masterfully reflected in his letter. I loved it!!! And also the lines where in he urges to find herself by melting her frozen heart 👍🏼

Once again, apologies. As I mentioned the other day, I started all over from the beginning (as you know I had read the start), then got half way around 1.30 am and had to sleep for work and today (midnight) have now read the whole thing- each delicious morsel, savoured like I do my favourite chocolates:)

This is how you create twists and make the story still work- a lesson the CVs of the show are sadly in need of.

Totally loved this. As you know, am a real fan of Ice King but the nuances here are so finessed, I am in awe. I loved the whole thing, each chapter flowed so seamlessly.

Your imagery as I have said multiple times is very powerful and you truly unleashed it here. I love winter and the way you wrapped the story around that, at the end allegorically ushering in spring with its promise was outstanding. However the winter you painted was equally beautiful- in a stark way but mesmerising still.

I so love this Swara- she is indeed a queen- and I loved how she was an equal, not a victim. In the show I always find Ragini the more interesting character but the dimensions Swara has here were incredibly appealing to me. I also fell in love with the thawed Ice King- he still kept his sharp edges and if you were to attack his queen he would cut through you like the sword he choose to stay but with his queen he was the one bringing warmth to melt her like she did him previously.

Their chemistry despite the winter theme was scorching. Of course the true star of your piece was Ram Prasad- I didn't see it coming that he wasn't Sanskaar's biological father but in some ways he was his real father nevertheless- you so saw Sanskaar in him. As you know I am totally fascinated by RP (as per the Despatches) and the back story here was awesome. Loved the play on Yashodhara actually being Devki btw.

Also really liked AP here- that was neatly done, she was grey and not totally dark. Lakshya too was weak and a pale shadowy sort but not the entirely intolerable unbearable brat in the show, which was a huge relief. I said before about Ragini- a worthy adversary and my favourite bit was her confrontations with both Sanskaar and Swara.

I have gone on so much on your post, sorry Saku- but it really moved me so had to say. You weave the plot so well, I feel writing a complex story over multiple parts is so hard, and you are really in your element in it.

First of all I'm sorry for this really... I mean really late reply. Forgive me my friend for that😭.
I have said it before but I think I'll have to say it again. Sakura you are an awesome writer. Your ss makes me wonder...is this a ss or I have just finished watching a good movie particularly with a good story line and characters befitting well with their roles...not the irrelevant and OK just put it for the trps types.
And after reading your ss only... I began taking interest in other ss and os by superb writers such as manasi,viji,medha,shruti and many more ...you see the list doesn't ends. 😉
And I'm happy with it as I get to have good and effective sleep at night after reading their ss😆 .
I feel more enthusiastic and refreshed after I read one of the updates by you. The updates you put on create tunnels,stations, valleys and suburbs with your wonderful imagination power...dear! 😃

The finale with its letter from sanskar to swara was very aptly put by you, and I like the durga prasad advice to swara, and lastly the melting of ice within hearts and welcoming spring with open hands was fantastic as laksh was too talking with ragini, trying to guess what was the reason for doing all this etc. 👏 👏

And DP choosing Swara for him from the beginning. DP was probably one of my favourite characters in the entire thing. At the beginning of Ice King when Sanskaar was hurting Swara I was like omg you're such an idiot, stop. But I guess it was necessary for them to be reunited. Ragini turned out to be so much smarter than expected. She had been using everyone from the start. Wow. I hated Shekhar and Dadi too😡. And at one point I was mad at Shomi for separating SwaSan too. But whatever alls well that ends well! Anyways I absolutely loved the ending it was too good. "I'm still frozen, melt me." ugh I can't put into words how much I loved that. I honestly loved your them of snow/ice and winters. It was too good. I'm excited to read elixir now! 😉

Anyways thanks for the PM's, don't know how I wouldve kept up otherwise.
