And; he came. He reached to find people retiring from the place. His heart beating fast out of fear if he had lost her forever. Questions engulfing his mind, he went inside to find all the family members present. The pundit was present, the holy fire was put off, and everyone seemed to be at ease. Above all Laksh and swara were nowhere to be seen. This made him skip his heartbeat. His eyes almost filled and a huge lump formed in his throat. Just then someone pulled him to a corner.
He looked at the person eyes wide open while the person held his hand and took him upstairs to a room. The person closed the room behind and returned to look behind, there was laksh standing near the window with his hands folded across his chest, a shocked sanskar standing still and a tired and sobbing Swara. Ragini could feel the silence dawned upon all of them and she took upon herself to make things alright. Sh went towards Sanskar ,looked him in the eye and Tasshhh... The sound of the slap brought Swara, Laksh to senses and was a shock to the trio.
Swara and Laksh who had just realized sanskar's presence went towards him. Laksh was furious at ragini for slapping his brother and so he questioned her
What was that ragini? How dare you raise your hand on my brother? What did he do?
Its his fault Laksh... Its all his fault- said ragini and stood beside Swara .
The reason Swara didn't marry you today is him...your brother Sanskar...- said ragini upset and concerned for her sister.
Both the brothers were shocked. Laksh was stunned to hear that his brother was responsible for his marriage not happening while Sanskar was dumbstruck to know that the marriage didn't happen. Out of anger and frustration Laksh held sanskar's collar , pinned him to the wall and asked-
What did you do? What's all this? Answer me...answer me ...God dam it...
I love her...that's all Sanskar said.
Laksh left his collar while a lone drop of tear escaped swara's eyes. Sanskar walked towards Swara and stood there looking at her. She was dressed in her wedding attire, beautiful yet tired. Her eyes were swollen out of tears and her lips trembling. He wrapped her arms around her and she too gave in for the much needed hug.
Sanskar rested his chin on her head and confessed yet again-
I love you Swara...I love you a lot...
Swara still weeping hard, pulled away from the hug and confessed-
I love you too...I love you too Sanskar...
Ragya left the room for the two and stood outside.
After that tight embrace, swasan broke the embrace and looked at each other intently. Sanskar wiped her tears, placed a kiss on her forehead, on her beautiful eyes and then cupped her face gently, brushing his thumb over her lips, he gently kissed her. Swara responded to his love with equal passion and this time they weren't sorry.
**flashback**
2 years ago.
The cool breeze, the pleasant atmosphere and the gentle rain was enjoyed by two friends over some corn sitting in sanskar's luxurious car.
Chit chatting and joking swasan relished the corn. Once they were done, the two decided to leave from there but Swara insisted on getting drenched and like a good boyfriend Sanskar agreed. Sanskar stood behind in the car while Swara got down to enjoy the Bliss . Sanskar couldn't move his gaze away from her, she looked so beautiful . After sometime he got down to enjoy the rain with her, the cold breeze sent shivers through their body and the two hugged. After parting away, Sanskar cupped her face gently and met his lips with her. The incident didn't change much between the two coz deep down they loved each other very much.
Sanskar apologized for the incident and after some doubt Swara forgave him as well.
Flashback ends
Angry? Upset? Asked Ragini to Laksh.
In reply Laksh just nodded his head.
I am sorry...I mean...everything will be alright..
Said ragini trying to assure him
I know...its just that I was too blind to not see their love. I came in between...said Laksh with a smile.
But love finds its way in the end- said raging with a smile.
Swasan came outside, holding hands and the four of them went down and explained to everyone the scenario. After some questions and hesitation the families agreed for swasan marriage. The very next day swasan decided to get engaged.
Swara was dressed in a royal blue outfit while Sanskar wore a white sherwani. With the blessings of their families the two engaged rings.
Came in Laksh singing-
Waha waha ramji...
chu..chu..chu.chu..
He went near swasan and sat in between them and continued-
Jodi kya banayi chu..chu chu..
Chu..chu..chu..
Bhaiya aur bhabhi ko badhai ho badhai..
Sab rasmon se bani hai jag main..
Dil se ye dil ki sagayi...
Even ragini joined Laksh in the singing, they danced, everyone celebrated. Given the chance, Sanskar took Swara to the terrace and the two stood there holding hands.
You wanna say something- asked Sanskar
I am sorry... Said Swara sweetly
Sanskar looked at her, took both her hands in his and said-
I love you Swara and love means never to be sorry about anything.
Swara smiled at him and gave in for a hug. Sanskar held her close, no more worried of losing her. When in hug Swara said-
Its true what you said about forever. I believe in it now more than ever.
Sanskar resting her head on her head replied-
I know girlfriend. Its US...swasan forever and always.
The two let themselves sink in the idea of love, of togetherness, of eternity that awaited them.
