See Ragini's character is so bipolar. She says she loves Swara but also tried to kill her. She doesn't act like any other vamp onscreen. I find her to have psychopathic tendencies. However she has not yet displayed the level of a psychopath (even though she tried to kill Swara.) Psychopathic tendencies are where an individual isn't exactly a psychopath but has some similar traits. In Ragini's case these are the ones I found.
-Unreliability
-No sincerity or truthfulness found
-Extremely poor judgement
-Inability to learn from failures and/or mistakes and tends to repeat them again
-Lack of shame & Remorse on some topics.
Along with those I also found the character to potentially harness some bipolar traits. She's in a delusional state of mind. However we forget that instead of just being plain twisted Ragini could actually be extremely sick. Because she acknowledges her parents sister and family however it never gets through. She's stuck in a state of mind where she can't go anywhere.
I won't be surprised if CVs do end up showing Ragini as mentally ill and in need of treatment because she is. At the same time she doesn't really want to do some things however feels as if she has no choice to, but she has hundreds of choices. As a psychology student I can view a character such as Ragini to be mentally unstable. There's more to this going on then some random obsession for Lux Ji. Many people in oppressive households (one such as Ragini was in) tend to develop disorders later in life from the very light hearted to the extremely severe. There was also a lot of pressure around her to be perfect where are Swara's surroundings were a lot relaxed. Ragini grew up in a state for twenty something years where she couldn't freely express herself, in fact she doesn't even know her personality. I doubt she knows what she likes, the only form of expression she had was music.
