In the evening the MM was all lighted up for laksh's birthday party. Laksh had told Sanskar that he didn't want the party to be too loud and only close friends to be invited. Sanskar agreed to Laksh's decision. The party was simple yet had its glamour. Dp's close assocites and laksh's close friends were present.
Sanskar was in a black T-shirt and grey jacket with it a pair of denims. He looked cool like always. He was accompanied by his wife. Swara was looking beautiful in a rich blue anarkali. They walked down the stairs and joined everyone in the party. Soon ragini and Laksh joined the party. Ragini was looking simple yet elegant in her white with golden anarkali. Laksh wore a white T-shirt and blue jacket with denims to complete his look. He looked charming as ever .
Sanskar raised a toast -
Hello everyone, before I thank you all for joining us in our happiness, I would like to thank my brother. Lucky, thank you so much for coming back dear brother. You have no idea how much we have missed you. Lucky, we are all so glad that you are back. Thank you yaar. And on your birthday we all wish you all the happiness. I wish lucky ki whatever you ask for on this birthday, I wish god grants your wish. He went to lucky, kept his one hand one his shoulder and raised the toast - cheers everyone. Everyone raised the toast - To Laksh.
After some time, while the party was very much going on, uttara asked Laksh if she could play some music.
No uttara, let's play something interesting. Laksh gathered everyone and said -
First of all thank you everyone that you all came to wish me on my birthday. Thank you bhai for doing so much for me. Sanskar, do you remember you had thrown a similar party? Sanskar nodded. And at that time we had played the musical game. What do you call that? Antakshari replied Sanskar.
Oh...yes... So guys let's play antakshari. He looked at everyone for a response and they all cheered. Laksh asked ragini to start.
Ragini was seated in a couch and beside her were a beautiful couple. She looked and them and smiled.
Ajeeb dastaan hai yeh... Everyone looked at her and smiled.
Ragini got up from the place and continued -
Ajeeb dastan hai yeh... Kahan shuru kahan khatam..yeh manzile hai konsi...nah woh samaj sake na hum..
Ragini took laksh's Hans and danced with him as she sang-
Mubarake tumhi ke tum kisi ke noor hogaye, kisi ke itne pass ho...ke sab se door ho gaye...
Ajeeb dastan hai yeh...
Hmm...aahhh...Haaa..Haa..Hmmm...Hmmm..
Haan has I bangaye, haan nami bangaye...tum mere aasman...meri zamin bangaye...
Sanskar went to Swara...stood just staring at her and continued...
Haan hasi ban gaye...haan nami ban gaye.. Tum mere aasman merit zameen ban gaye..ohhh...hohoho...dere Na..aahhh...aaa...
Uttara asked ragini and Laksh, pari and adarsh and swasan to come on the dance floor...and they moved to Sanskar's music
Maante the khudha air haan vahi bangaye...ohh...hohoho...aahh..AAA...aaa..
Parineeta continued the musical flow with a 90's number - ek main aur ek tu pointing, at adarsh dono mile iss tarah aur tan man main Jo ho raha hai who toh hona hi tha..
Adarsh repeated the lines and they all clapped for their bhaiya and bhabhi...
Tum bin jia jaye kaise... Kaiser jiya jaye tum bin...Laksh sang, his pain evident in his voice... He just walked around the hall , his gaze stuck at Swara... Tum bin jiya jaye kaise... Kaise jiya jaye tum bin... Sadiyo se lambi hai raatein...sadiyo se lambe hue din...aaja lautkar tu...ye dil keh raha hai...aaja lautkar tu ye dil keh raha hai...
Kehte hai khuda ne iss jahan main sabi ke liye, kisi na kisi ko hai banaya har kisi ke liye... Swasan danced on swara's favorite music and Swara looked at Sanskar with all the love and passion and continued -

Tum humsafar hai, fir kya fikar hai...
Jeene ki vajah yehi hai...marna usi ke liye...
A loud applause followed. Everyone present were absolutely touched by that song and could see swasan's love for each other. Laksh couldn't bear to see all this and left from their in a rage. Dp asked everyone to have dinner. Ragini searched for Laksh everywhere when she couldn't find her she went to Sanskar -
Sanskar.. Laksh...Laksh...I can't find him anywhere... I mean...I...
Chill ragini...he must be here...I will go and find him..
Sanskar went to swara-
Swara, Laksh isn't at home...I will go out and find him..if anyone asks tell that we had gone from some work.
Swara nodded and smiled. Just then when Sanskar was about to leave Swara called him
Sanskar...
Sanskar turned..
Take care and she smiled...
Sanskar left in his car to look out for Laksh. He looked at the near by places but he couldn't find him. He then thought of going to the near by lake side where Laksh and he used to spend time and share their dreams and talk about their stories and ambitions. Sanskar was right. He found Laksh there, he was sitting in one of the rocks. Sanskar got down from the car and called-
Lucky...
Laksh turned and said
Sanskar...my brother...come...come and see what an amazing view... It was a full moon day and the lake carried the moon's reflection on it. The cool breeze made for an amazing view. Sanskar took a place beside Laksh.
Lucky we should leave.
No bhai. Wait. Sanskar could smell liquor. He realized that Laksh was drunk. He saw that laksh's eyes were red. He looked dehydrated.
You know what Sanskar...you are so lucky..
Laksh looked at Sanskar and said -
Swara loves you a lot Sanskar. She is a very nice girl Sanskar. She is... And you are so lucky that she loves you. My shona... Pointing at himself...my shona loves you..pointing at Sanskar.
Sanskar held Laksh's arm and made him stand. He slowly helped Laksh and made him sit on the seat next to him. Sanskar took off from that place.
As Sanskar and Laksh reached laksh's room, Sanskar found swaragini waiting for them. Seeing Laksh drunk it hurt them. Ragini helped Sanskar in laying Laksh on the bed. Sanskar removed his shoes and covered him with blanket. He asked ragini to go and get some sleep. She left the room. Swara was still, she didn't move an inch. Sanskar was just looking at his wife. Swara looked and Sanskar and her hold on her tears broke, she left from the room running. Sanskar moved his hand over laksh's face and just as he was about to leave, Laksh blabbered - Sanskar, I love Swara...I love my shona.. Sanskar left from there closing thedoor behind him.
When Sanskar went to his room, he found Swara standing near the window. He knew she was sobbing. He placed hand on her shoulder, she quickly turned and placed her head on his chest and started weeping hard. Sanskar moved his hand over her hair.
Sanskar...I can't see him like this Sanskar..she said. Swara looked at him and he just nodded. She held his shirt and said - you know everything na Sanskar. You know it right. He...laksh...it hurts to see him like this...and she cried harder. Sanskar just let her get out the tears she was holding from so long. He knew it had been hard for her, having Laksh around. But she never uttered a word nor did she complain. She knew Laksh was the family's son and his brother. And he knew Laksh was Swara 's first love..
