I just loved it tremendously. This gave such a beautiful insight into what must have been going through Sanskaar's mind before, at the time when he stood like a rock by Swara's side. Before he actually went ahead and confessed his love to her in that drunken haze (and acknowledged to himself, too, that he loved her). My personal feeling, judging Sanskaar's character, is that this would normally have taken a little bit more time than they allowed in the show, to overcome his conflicted feelings and guilt over "forgetting" Kavita and "moving on" to feeling for Swara. But well, its a serial, so we do need to allow some allowance for timing constraints. 😉

And I liked the way you touched upon Swara's psyche too. I agree with you here, I'd explored this in some of my recent Fics too, that she definitely could be expected to have trust issues as far as "love" is concerned. With the way her father and ex fiance behaved, Sanskaar's selfless love, tenderness and care would be a completely new experience for her.

Truly, as you out it, this "dard ka rishta" is one of the most beautiful aspects of this relationship, Swara & Sanskaar healing each other, helping each other to move on from the pain of past losses, and discovering happiness together again. I hope the CVs manage to do justice to this, but I do fear that they are getting side tracked with bomb blasts and multiple kidnapping tracks!

Jean...may I call you that...awesome analysis into the psychi of Sanskar's mind...yes he had started admiring Swara's character while he was planning his revenge...and then the feeling of guilt when she questioned if he loved someone ever...and knowing the pain of losing that person...made him more sympathic to her...

Thus he felt bad to see his plan harming her reputation...he felt bad and guilt to see harm come to her thus...saved her from Mohini and then began his journey towards redemption...and the opportunity presented itself too soon...

He did all that he could to rectify his part in destroying her life...he went over and above what was needed from him...he became her rock...her strength...her sounding board...her shoulder to cry on...

Love sneaks up on people and he himself didn't realise that his admiration, respect & trust for Swara had turned into love...her one accusation leftvhim reeling with hurt...and in his inebriated state he poured his heart out...

Already having been in love ...and facing tragedy...he was ready to accept what he felt for her without forcing his love...his wish...needs or desire on her...as he knows that love happens...without any rhyme or reason...his love confession portrayed that beautifully..."kaab howa! Kaise howa...patha nahi...".those lines said it all..

Swara on the other hand never...had a strong male figure in her life that stood by her unconditionally ever like Sanskar did...

Shekar her father & Laksh abandoned her on the first trouble that cane their way...making her think that Love is weak...and this action from the people she trusted breaking it...made her give up on it...or more like has made her wary if the so called emotion...

As for Sanskar being jealous of Laksh...no he never was...I think he felt guilt in being the reason for his state...but pity too...on seeing truly how weak he was as a person...who couldn't trust his own love ...

His show of possesiveness etc was all to make Laksh jealous so that he would be do iriked that he would never give into Rajini..and consumate the marriage...thus making it difficult for Swara & Laksh to ever get back together...

Even now...Sanskar has Friend Zoned himself...he does not show or force his feelings emotions desires wants and needs on Swara at all...

He's open to her going back to Laksh as he still holds himself responsible for breaking them up in the first place...and he knows about being in love...about first love...and above all about bring happy for the one you loves happiness...
