CHAPTER 14

Swara was outside the party venue, waiting for her baba to park the car. Sanskaar came there and looked at swara . she was in a royal blue saree, sanskaar kept looking at her he was lost while swara ignored looking at him

Sanskaar: swara wo

Swara didn't let him complete and went inside the venue while sanskaar went after her. Swara was feeling uneasy today. She had a feeling something big is gonna happen today. She rubbed her hands and kept walking until she was near the hall. The cold breeze was making her feel something.

Laksh got up and moved towards ragini but ansh came in between and stopped laksh . while laksh said: ragini main laksh tumhara laksh

Ansh interrupted: enough mr laksh maheshwari don't cross your line. Mat bhuliye kai ap meri patni say baat kar rahay hain and her name is not ragini she is rachna kapoor.

Ragini's eyes was focused on laksh and how painful his expression got by hearing it . laksh holds ansh's collar and throw him side ways. He held ragini's hand

Laksh: ragini yeh kia keh raha hai.. isko bolo kai tum rachna nahi ho tum meri ragini ho? Meri best friend, mera pyar

All her life ragini wanted to hear this and when he was saying it she could not even reply. How cruel can be fate with them. Her eyes got tears.

Ansh stood up and came back holding laksh's collar while ragini put her hand on his shoulder making a disgusted face. She won't let this low life touch her laksh. While ansh pushed ragini and she faltered a bit. Laksh went mad seeing this and held ansh's collar again : how dare you? Wo biwi hai meri

Ansh pushed laksh too and ordered the guards: guardsss! Bahar nikalo isko..

Guards held laksh while he was out of control trying to go towards ragini. Ragini's mouth was open in shock and as she saw laksh struggling she turned around

Laksh shouted: raginiii... tum kuch bolti ku ni ho..

Her eyes had tears which flowed down from her cheeks and as soon as it touched her cheeks she wiped them.

Laksh: ragini main hoon tumhara laksh .. raginiii

The guards pushed him and laksh fell backwards while sanskaar held him supporting him and swara was standing beside sanskaar. Swara saw tears in laksh's eyes.

Laksh stood up and cried looking at sanskaar: bhai

And signaled them towards ragini. Swara moved a bit forwar and saw a girls back. Here ragini felt as if swara was near. Both swara and ragini together brought there hands up and put them on their necks feeling uneasy. Swara moved closer towards the girl. Sanskaar with laksh moved forward aswell. All the maheshwari's and gadodia's entered the venue to.. they saw swara going towards someone. Sharmishta was keenly noticing the girl, her heart was beating. Swara was just standing inches away from the girl. And ragini was getting dizzy with the feeling. Both of them were breathing heavily. Swara brought her hand up to pat the girls shoulder but before that ragini turned around seeing swara getting shocked. As swara faced ragini she put her hand on her mouth in shock. Immediately her eyes welled up with flood of tears. Ragini looked up from swara . bothe her families were standing in front of her. She would faint any moment. Every single person was shocked to the core. Sanskaar moved back not believing. Every word of swara came to his mind. Sharmishta smiled looking at ragini. Shekhar was astounded. Durga parsad looked at Annapurna as he called out her name : ragini

Both of them looked at laksh whose eyes were focused on ragini only.

Ansh thought: asli maza toh ab aye ga.

Swara's hands were trembling, she with her trembling hands touched her face, ragini's face was getting heat up. As swara touched her face she smiled as tears of happiness shed from her eyes. She looked at ragini's hand and remembered how they stood hand in hand before their parents to prevent them from durga parsad. That day they became swaragini. Swara held ragini's hand feeling the warmth. Ragini looked at ansh who was standing with an evil smirk. Swara hugged ragini suddenly as both their world rotated.

Swara was sobbing now and her sob could be heard by all: meri behen zinda hai meri ragini zinda hai.. meri behen meray sath hai

Swara said still hugging ragini, she touched the back of her hairs. ragini felt useless, both laksh and swara recognized her and all what she has to do is break there hearts. Ragini imagined the circumstances they lived in these past three months. Swara broke the hug and touched her cheeks smiling looking at her face. Sharmishta looked at shekhar and then saw swaragini together and smiled at both her daughters. Sharmishta went towards them and ragini in nervousness moved a little back. While sharmishta cupped her face and kissed her forehead

Sharmishta: ragu beta? Kahan thi? Aek baar bhi ni socha apni maa kai baray mai?

Ragini looked at her. Her heart was dying every second. She was helpless

Sharmishta: itni naraz thi apni maa sai kai humsay dur chali gai? Itna bura maan lia kai teray papa nai tujhay thapar mara tha? Beta mujhay bata kai toh dekhti tujhay jo karna hota mai teri manti. Tujhay laksh kai sath ni jana tha mat jati..

Laksh looked at sharmishta and then to ragini

Sharmishta: ab tu agai hai na ab kabhi bhi apni maa ko chor kai mat jana .. na swara ko. Kisi ko bhi ab mai tujjhay khud sai dur ni honay doon gi beta

She hugged ragini again .

Ansh thought: time to enter

He moved towards them, held swara's arm and pushed her towards sanskaar while swara fell on sanskaar and he held her.

Sanskaar was angry: mr kapoor apni limits mai rahiye.

He went towards him and was about to punch him when ragini came in between and sanskaar stopped immediately , ansh put his hand on ragini's shoulder and made her stand out of his way.. he went closer to sanskaar

Ansh: limits mai ap sab log rahiye . yeh kia ragini ragini lagaya howa hai? She is not ragini but my wife rachna kapoor.

This shocked everyone. Swara looked at ragini straightaway . sharmishta couldn't believe her ears.

Ansh: kitni baar btao .yeh baa tab likh kai doon toh samjh aye ga .. yeh ragini nahi hai .

Swara :kaun rachna? Kiski wife? Yeh meri behen hai ragini laksh maheshwari . laksh ki patni hai yeh ..

Swara came towards them.

Swara : ragini bolo na .. tum btao isay, sabko kai tum koi rachna ni ho balkay humari ragini meri ragini

Swara held ragini hand, ragini freed them which astonished swara.

Ragini looked down and shook her head

Swara : yeh jhoot bol rai hai

Swara said confidently straightaway looking at ragini's face, she was not nave not to recognize her sister

Ansh shouted : enough now

Durga parsad came down: mr kapoor! Apni awaz ko thora neecha rakhiye

Ansh faced durga parsad he was waiting for this moment: awaz unkay samnay neechay ki jati hai jinki koi hasiyat ho koi aukat ho

Sanskaar became mad after hearing this and held his collar: ansh kapoor apni hadh mai raho. Agar maine apni sharafat chordi na toh phir yahan kia hoga wo mujhay bhi nahi pata

Durga parsad: sanskaar usay choro

Sanskaar left his collar and backed off

Swara : ragini tum kuch bolti ku ni ho kuch bolo

Laksh came towards ragini: ragini idhar dekho.. tumhay meray sath nahi rehna mat raho par ab aur nahi ragini. Please boldo kai tum ragini ho please ragini

Swara : yeh kuch bol ku nahi rai ?

Swara said crying

Ansh held ragini's hand: ku kai meri rachna bachpan sai bol nahi sakti .

Sharmishta covered her mouth.

Laksh shook his head, this was a nightmare. This can't be true, ragini's voice echoed in his head the way she called his name "laksh" . swara remembered all the music competitions in which they both participated and ragini used to sing beautifully.

Ansh: yahi sabsay bara proof hai that she is rachna . am I clear?

Swara: bol nahi sakti ya kisi kai darr ki waja sai bol nai rai? Kia sabot hai apkay paas kai yeh ragini nahi hai?

Ansh ordered his servant to bring something and handed the papers to him

He gave the papers to sanskaar who looked at it, it had ragini's picture with rachna's name on it . even ragini was shocked by it. Laksh couldn't believe his heart was not ready to believe.

Ansh: a bap log khud jaein gai ya meray guards ap logo ko nikal kai phenk daein.

Shekhar looked at ragini for the one last time and held sharmishta's hand taking her out while she kept saying that this was their daughter.

Sanskaar took swara with him while swara kept looking back at ragini. She knew that she was ragini her sister.. and she will come back to take her soon.

Adarsh asked laksh to move but he was not ready to move. He was glued to his place and his eyes were glued on ragini, as ansh put his arm around his ragini, laksh made a fist of his hand. Adarsh held laksh's hand and pulled him, laksh's eyes had that finality. Ragini was looking straight at laksh too.. it pained her to see him that way. Laksh made a face which showed "acha ni kia ragini but mai wapis aoo ga"

Ragini closed her eyes

Adarsh started to take laksh out while laksh eyes were focused on her only

As laksh went from there ragini pushed ansh and ran towards her room, she cried loudly while she ran. Everything has been shattered .. she wanted to die now. She can't hurt swara, her maa and her laksh now. No one deserves this. Why her.. she want to live with her family. A normal life.

Ragini hid beind the window door and saw her families going, sharmishta wiped her tears looking back while shekhar took her to the car. She saw laksh as he sat in his car

"dil ko hai shak magar

He went and ragini broke down.

Sanskaar brought swara out and ragini saw them, swara freed her arm from his grip

Swara: wo shakhs jhoot bol raha hai, wo ragini hai mai janti hoon

Sanskaar: swara please meri baat toh suno apnay ghar chalo?

Swara : mujhay kuch nahi suna hai! Kaunsay ghar? Jahan meri behen kai baray mai yeh sab bola jata hai? Jab tu yeh nahi samjh saktay kai wo kia importance rakhti hai meri zindagi mai toh pyar kai daway kaisay kartay ho? Tum larkai yeh ku ni samjhatay kai aek nayee rishtay ki waja sai hum larkian puranay rishto ko nib hula sakti na hi unki ahmiat kum hoti hai. Swara : galat sirf yeh rishta hai sirf yeh,. Aur jab tak ragini uss ghar mai wapis nahi ati tab tak mai bhi ni aoo gi. Agar tumahay problem hai toh jo karna chaho karo.

Swara went from there while sanskaar was exteremly hurt. Here ragini who witnessed it all was shocked..and thought : yeh swara apnay rishtay kai sath kia kar rahi hai? Wo sanskaar sai kitna pyar karti hai aur humaray liye yeh sab kar rai hai.. yeh theek ni hai .

Baadi

Durga parsad: wo ragini ni hain..

Swara : wo ragini hi hai bade papa. Ap yakeen ki jay mai janti hoon mera dil janta hai wo meri behen hai

Sharmishta: shona bilkul theek keh rai hai wo humari ragu hai

Dida smiled, Annapurna came towards sharmishta

Annapurna: sharmishta ji mai apko samjh sakti hoon par hum jitna jaldi iss baat ko accept karlaein utna acha hoga. Sabkay liye

She looked at laksh who was standing at the window as the wind touched his face he was getting more sure

Laksh: wo meri ragini hai

He announced

Everyone looked at him, swara smiled

Laksh: mai uskay ehsas ko pehchanta hoon. Mai janta hoon wo ragini hai

With that he went from there

Swara looking at sanskaar: jisko manna hai manay jisko nahi mana hai na manay

She also went from there.

Ragini was laying on bed and crying thinking of the incidents that had taken place today. The way laksh hugged her, then swara and then sharmishta, how everyone was seeing her, her baba was quite what affect has it been on him. she was devastated and closed her eyes as her eyes too hurt now from all the crying. Suddenly she heard

Laksh: mrs ragini laksh maheshwari samnay aoo

Ragini looked at him when another noise break her trance and she ran towards the balcony and ash followed her. Ragini went in rain on the balcony, good now her tears will go un-noticed. She saw laksh struggling from guards

Laksh: raginiii

Laksh saw her and smiled as he pushed the guard and warned: bas aek minute ..

He looked up

Laksh: here you are mrs maheshwari, apko pata hai apnay mujhay in teen mahino mai kitna tarpaya hai

Ragini cried

Laksh: par tumhay toh ana hi tha ragini.. I know tum meri ragini ho.. and no one can deny it

Ragini and ansh changed looks.

Laksh: tumhay kia laga koi bhi aira gaira mujhy kahay ga kai tum ragini nahi ho and I will believe? Kia mai tumhay itna hi janta hoon? Ya shaid tum mujhy ni jaan pai

Laksh said looking at ansh

Ansh held ragini hand tightly hurting her

Laksh: aur don't worry mai wapis aoon ga and I promise mai tumhay lai kay jaon gai because

He paused

Ragini held her breath

Laksh smiled looking down and then straight away looking at her , he sat on his knees the same way he did on that day, ragini couldn't believe

Laksh: because I love you ragini

He shouted

Laksh: mai bhi tumsay bohat pyar karta hoon bohat zada ... I love you

He stood up and started to move back still looking at her

Laksh: ill come soon..

He went and ragini moved to go when swara called her

Swara : raginiii

Ragini looked at ansh and pleaded him to let her go just once. He left her hand and said

Ansh: jao, but just remember tumharay kuch bhi reaction kafi kuch galt karsakta hai. Dada ji ko kuch hojaye toh? Even better agar laksh ki car mai bomb plant kara doon toh? Ya isi wakt tumhari behen swara ko marwa doon toh? Kisi ko pata bhi ni chalay ga.

Ragini dreaded this and went out in the rain facing swara. Swara smiled and came towards ragini

Swara : daro mat, bas sirf yeh dekhnay aye thy yakeen karnay aye thi kai tum ho?

Ragini apni behen ko itna paraya kardia kai tumhari zindagi mai jo ho raha hai tum mujhsy chupa rai ho? Bata kai toh dekho I promise tumhari sari mushkilein dur kardon gi. Swara: laksh nai pichlay teen mahinay mai aek lafz ni bola, wo har din tumharay dupattay kai sath betha rehta hai tumharay mangalsutra ko dekhta rehta hai. Usnay apni zindagi khatam karli thi jaisay par aj wo dobara bol para hai. Wo tumsay bohat pyar karta hai. Ragini please tum kuch bolo dekhna hum milkay sab mushkilein hal karein gai akhir hum behenein hain hum swaragini hain

Ragini with drawed her hand and swara was serious now

Swara: yeh bearish bhi tumharay ansoo chupa nahi sakti. Theek hai mat bolo kuch but jald hi mai yeh pata kara loon gi kai tum yeh sab kuc kar rai ho

She turned to go but then look back and held her hand : please ragini

As ansh announced , ragini gasped hearing his conversation

CHAPTER 15

Laksh was in a white T-shirt with blue jeans running behind ragini who was in purple saree with her hair open. Laksh was trying to catch ragini while ragini was laughing looking at laksh while still running. They were in Maheshwari Mansion but no one was there. She was so close to him, he could feel her presence. As laksh ran forward, he got caught of her pallu which was pinned with her shoulder. So ragini stopped putting her one hand on her shoulder as not to let the pallu get off. Laksh looked at her naughtily while pulling onto the pallu and ragini jerked forward as laksh held her closer to him. this feeling was such a bliss.

"teray pyar mein

Main marjawa"

Ragini's love, sincerity, her nature, her smile, her eyes has made laksh fall in love with her so much that he is so much consumed in her. He feel happy and his happiness is with her only. Laksh held her chin making her see him while ragini's eyes were closed.

"Tere naam

Yeh dil karjawan"

Ragini opened her eyes to see laksh who was looking at her, in her eyes with so much love that she can't even imagine the depth. Laksh had this contended smile on his face.

"humay na bhulana

Dur nahiin jana humsay dur nahin jana"

Both of them were looking deeply in each other's eyes and with so much love that only death can do them apart. They were meant to be together and destiny has made them love each other

Laksh was about to kiss ragini's forehead while she was looking down but before his lips could touch her forehead, she pushed laksh a little and laksh opened his eyes realizing that he was once again dreaming. He was standing beside his balcony and her face was gain and again flashing in his eyes. He turned and saw her picture beside his bedside . laksh smiled

Laksh: ragini mai tumsay kitna pyar karta hoon yeh shaid mai khud bhi nahin janta.. tum ho toh yeh zindagi hai warna shaid kuch bhi nahin. Aek wakt tha jab maine tumharay pyar ko thukarya tha aur aj usi pyar keliye mai apni jaan bhi dai sakta hoon.

Laksh blinked his eyes as a fresh memory of ansh pushing him and separating him from his ragini came to his mind. He made a fist of his hand as he remembered how he put his arm around ragini.

Here ragini after listening to ansh on call was damn scared. She was sitting on her bed. She was seating. Her eyes were getting bigger from fear.

Ragini thought while she was crying: hum kia karein? Kaisay bachaein sanskaar ko? Yeh ansh bohat buray insane hain inho nai humsay vada kia tha kai yeh humaray parivaar ko nuksan nahin phonchaein gai magar yeh toh

More tears came from her eyes: humay kuch toh karna hi hoga..

She stood up:haan humay swara ko btana chai

She looked here and there and went towards the landline phone as she picked the receiver she realized that the phone was dead, ragini sat on bed helplessly

Ragini in her mind: nahin hum haar nahin maan saktay, humay kuch toh karna hi hoga.. sanskaar swara kai pati hain, laksh kai bhai hain. Humara parivaar hain hum unho kuch bhi nahin honay daein gai. Kuch nahi

Ragini looked around the room and saw a pen and paper.. she ran towards it and wrote: sanskaar ki jaan ko khatra hai ansh kapoor nai unki car mai bomb lagwaya hai please unko bachalo

She took the paper and went towards the door trying to open it but it was lock from outside: yeh darwaza toh band hai..

She covered her mouth in shock : ab hum kia karein hum kaisay jaein

Ragini banged her palm on her forehead feeling frustrated and her eyes went to the window.. she nodded to herself and went towards the window and jumped from it..

Swara was laying on the bed as tears welled up in her eyes.. her sister was not with her, and sanskaar and her relation was hanging nowhere... she was immensely hurt. Swara's phone beeped and she saw the caller and it was sanskaar. Swara picked it up and talked rudely

Swara: kia hai? Ku phone kia jab meri baton pai bharosa hi nahin hai tumhay? And please ab yeh mat bolna kai wo ragini nahin hai tumsay behas karna ka koi maan nahin hai mera

Sanskaar: swara please maine aisa kuch bonay keliye phone nahin kia tum baat ko kahan sai kahan laikay chali jati ho. Maine bas yeh btana tha kai main office jar aha hoon raste main hoon badi maa ko tumsay kuch baat karni hai isliye wapis atay vay tumhay pick karon ga. Aur fikar mat karo drop bhi kardon ga ku kai shaid iss rishtay mai duriyan hi likhi hain

He cut the call and swara with tears in her eyes looked at the phone: haan sanskaar tumhay jo karna hai karo chalay jao meri zindagi sai ku kai tumnay bhi mujhy dard hi dia hai

Swara sobbed loudly hugging her pillow...

Here ragini came towards the baadi.. she hided her face.. she has to do it.. only swara could save sanskaar. Ragini hided behind pillars and went towards her house.. swara was still crying

Ragini thought: hum apni behen kai pyar ko kuch nahin honay daein gai kuch bhi nahin..

With that she threw the paper in swara and her room through the window and hided behind the pillar... swara heard the noise and went towards the window seeing a paper near it.. she wiped her tears and took the paper opened and was shocked to read that sanskaar's life was in danger as ansh planted a bomb in his car.. swara moved back hitting to the wall. Just now she talked to him, his voice came to her mind "waisay bhi iss rishtay main duriyan hi likhi hain"

She shook her head:aisa nahin hosakta . meray sanskaar ko kuch nahin ho sakta..

She ran towards her bed and called sanskaar but his number was busy: sanskaar phone uthao please

But he didn't pick it up.. swara ran out towards the main halting a riskshaw: bhaisaab please maheshwari enterprises lai chaliye..

She repeated: car main bomb..

Ragini saw her ruuning out and looked up at sky : ab swara sanskaar ko bacha lai gi.. she came out of baadi and went towards the mandir.. as she went ahead there were ansh people with there cars standing and waiting for someone.. one of the guy saw her and asked the other guy to see as they all saw her ragini got frightened to her core.. ragini turned and ran in the opposite site.

Swara: bhaisaab please thora jaldi chalaiyee..

Swara shouted at the driver.. her whole world was tilting.. all her moments with sanskaar came in her mind.. she blinked her eyes and more tears made their way on her cheeks.. she remembered fighting with him..

"dil ko chor kai

Kis raste wo jatay hain"

Her wedding moments came to her mind .. as sanskaar made her wear the mangalsutra.. swara grabbed her mangalsutra in a strong hold

"saray raste wapis meray

Dil ko atay hain"

The rikshaw stopped

Swara: kia howa apnay roka ku?

She was acting impulsive..

Rikshaw: madam agay rasta band hai .. agay ni ja saktay..

Swara ran out .. she passed through the traffic jam.. she won't let anything happen to her sanskaar.. he was her life...

Here sanskaar came out of the office.. standing beside his car. His thoughts were occupied with swara only.. he loved her with all his life.. he was a rebel she showed him the right path made him better person. Sanskaar punched the car.. how perfect was there life.. he remembered the time they smiled together. They way they danced on their sangeet . they were happy so was laksh and ragini. And one single incident broke everything .

Swara ran with all her strength .. she was panting heavily

"mainay mana kai pyar ki hadh hoti hai

Maine mana kai intezar ki hadh hoti hain"

Sanskaar sat in the car.. swara ran towards the building when she saw sanskaar sitting in his car... swara shook her head..sanskaar placed the keys in the key holder.. swara shouted his name :sanskaarrr nahin

She ran towards him, her life was going away..

Here ragini was running with all her life praying: bhagwan agar ap hain toh please sanskaar ko bacha lein.

She looked back while still running they were still following her with guns.

Sanskaar was about to turn on the keys when swara dashed towards his car's window. Sanskaar was shocked to see swara. Both of them opened the car door swara from out and sankaar from inside. As sanskaar came out : swara tum yahan ?

As she was panting sanskaar held her from her arms

Swara while crying loudly: sanskaar...

Sanskaar moved towards his left: kia howa swara

Swara: sanskaar (pointing towards the car) bomb hai

Sanskaar looked at her confused and was about to say something when the car blasted and the intensity was so high that swara and sanskaar fell towards the jungle side falling down..

Ragini was running while looking at her back when she dashed into someone she was about to fall when laksh held onto her arm, she recognized his touch, she looked up and saw him. laksh saw her face she was scared and was crying. He looked up from her and saw people who were coming after her.. he grabbed her hand and ran towards a wall to hide. Laksh was shielding ragini and she was looking at him remembering how always he comes and shield her and they hide. Laksh looked at ragini, and smiled the way she was looking at him

She stood up while sanskaar was lost in his thoughts

Swara: kia howa

Sanskaar scaringly: kaunsay ghar swara?

Swara smiled: humaray ghar sanskaar.. wo ghar jahan tum aur main hum hain..

Sanskaar smiled : finally you don't know iss duri nai mujhy kitna mara hai..

Swara: mujhy bhi.. mujhy tumhari zarorat hai

Sanskaar: shaid yeh dard uss dard kai samnay kuch bhi nahi hai jo laksh bardash kar raha hai

Swara became serious

Sanskaar: ansh kapoor meri car mai bomb ku lagayye ga?

He asked suddenly while swara thought

Sanskaar: aur lagaye gat oh lagaye ga phir tumhay iss paper kai zariye kaun inform karay ga aur ku

Both of them think hard and then shockingly looked at each other.. together said: ragini
