Chapter 3
The next morning sun rays made its way to their window enlightening their room
She moaned sleepily digging her face further in her newly found pillow...she found the posture she was in right now the most comfortable she has ever been and she refused to wake up, she pouted her lips as the sun rays refused to leave her face...she sleepily opened her eyes to glare at whatever was disturbing her beauty sleep and as she did she found her newly found pillow was not a pillow but Sanskaar's chest it took her a while to realize how did she end up in such a position, where Sanskaar held her waist protectively, she had a weird feeling stirring inside as she tried to break herself free from Sanskaar's grip without waking him up, she was sure it will be damn uncomfortable if he woke up and found himself hugging her and right now she couldn't afford awkwardness in their relationship it will surely be a bad step to begin with
She carefully pulled herself out and looked at how the sun rays started disturbing Sanskaar this time, looking at his cute expression she almost forgot the previous day event and made her mind to get new curtains for her room..."Her room??...Obviously Swara your room...this is your new world" she told to herself before entering the bathroom
He woke up hearing the shower on, He slept in peace after days must be his bed effect he thought...there's nothing better than our bed,He tried to go back to sleep when he felt some water drops on his face he turned to see the source when he found Swara drying her hairs...and he sat in awe, after Kavita this was the first time he was staring at a girl
"Sanskaar???" Swara broke his trance
"Yeah...yeaah" he managed to compose himself
"You're okay na???"She found his expressions amusing and wondered if he wakes up everyday like that
"Obviously!" Unknown with what to say he quickly got up and found Swara tearing her eyes away from him, he wondered why...and looked at his sides trying to figure out the reason
"Your shirt!'' she said keeping her entire attention to her hairs
He looked down and found all his buttons open...he so wanted to kick himself for not realizing he opened his buttons while sleeping..."Actually Swara am not used to sleep in this room temperature it's too hot for me...When I switched the Ac on you were shivering, I am really sorry I really din't mean too" saying so he worked his finger on his button nervously but relaxed as her lips curved in a small smile
"Thank you Sanskaar, hadn't been you I dunno what would have happened to me! I know taking this decision must have been very difficult for you, You loved kavita a lot and had to hold my hands" She was truly recognizant to whatever he did for her, She locked her eyes to his and her eyes showed only how grateful she was
"Swara!! You know if Kavita was here she would have been really proud of me for holding your hands...and thankful to you for giving me this second chance...to be honest I never did anything for you...You're a brave girl Swara...had I been as brave as you are...I'd never seek for revenge and ruin your life today" He would never be able to forgive himself though she was showing herself brave she managed to fake a smile on her lips he knew how shattered she was inside
"It's really okay Sanskaar, I wasn't broken by you, but by my own'' She said so feeling her tears reaching her eyes again...she felt like getting in a forever battle with her tears
Their conversation was broken as Sanskaar's phone rang, It was Sharmishta...he handed his phone over to Swara
"Hello Ma..!" She smiled as she heard her mother's voice she was glad atleast she was here for her
"Shona!!!! How are you???...and Sanskaar"
"Maa...We are both fine...what about you and Dida" She was soo missing them
Sanskar smiled as he watched her talking to her Family, for him no one even bothered to call asking where he was...they never cared he thought
"Shona we are both fine now tell me where is sanskaar"
"He's next to me maa" she said looking at Sanskaar
"Then put the phone on speaker I want to talk to both of you" Sharmishta Ordered and Swara did same
" Sanskaar , I want you and Swara at home today for her Pag phera" She smiled at Dida's excitement as she invited them and asked to loud speaker her phone too...she was acting just like a child
"but Maa...I am sure Ragini will be there too" Swara wasn't scare to face her why will she, she wasn't the one who wronged but she was scare it will worsen her parents relationships
"Shona, You don't have to worry about that marwaran and her poti...I will handle both of them'' she said in a warning tone
"Yes Dida!! Am sure you will but still" she was reluctant
"wait I have a simple solution" Sanskaar said " Swara do you know how to cook???" he questioned while she turned her head and lips in a no
"Then perfect, I am starving...I dunno about you but I am going to my sasural for food...consider it to be my pag phera ma" He smiled as he heard Sharmishta and dida laughing
While Swara stared at him, she was oblivious Sanskaar hid a naughty side, she had no other way than to agree to them and Sanskar entered the bathroom to get ready
He came out and found Swara dressed in a beautiful traditional suit...it was nothing like heavy or complicated...just simple and traditional
"You know, you don't have any restrictions over here you can always wear your western dress, I don't mind''
She was touched by his every gesture..."I know Sanskaar but we are going to the badi and maybe your Family members will be there too because of Ragini...I don't want them to think wrong about you and say ill things to you because you chose me"
He was truly amazed after all the ill things that was said to her by his family she was still thinking about them
"Cool with me, since you look good in both" He couldn't believe he just said that while Swara mouthed a thank you to him and they both walked out of Their House to the badi
As they entered the badi all admired their couple...while a bunch of people stood burning in jealousy
Swara ran to hug her mother and dida while Sanskaar behaved like the rest of the world was non-existent to him except Swara dida and Sharmishta
"Here she is after defaming us soo much she dare to come here!" Parvati said bitterly holding Ragini's shivering hands as she saw Swara," You don't have to worry about these bengalan laddo"
"Oye Marwaran, before blaming us ask her the reason of her worries" How can she bear others nonsense, and not now when her grand daughter and daughter had to bear soo much because of these people
"Maa Let it be" Sharmishta tried to pull her mother away
"Go Go...We don't even care for lowlifes like you" Parvati said
"Enough!!! I was Quiet because you are elder than me...but the ones you are talking about is My WIFE and her family...and as long as I stand here I wouldn't like to hear any crap from your kinds for my people" With life hardships he learnt only one moto...be nice with the nice and when someone tries to bully you learn to give that back too
"Sanskaar!!!!Mind your language" He heard a shout
"Really???Why din't you say the same to your mother when she was treating your wife and daughter lowlife???... Yesterday you threw Sharmishta Maa away because you thought she was bias for Swara...what do you call yourself???'' he Questioned angrily when he felt a tuck on his wrist
"Sanskaar enough you're talking to my Baba" Swara tried to pull him
"You still consider him baba Swara???... great you are... had I been at your place he would have been just a stranger to me...but well I don't mind your love for your father but as long as he's talking to my wife and my wife's family he is doing it respectfully or else I know how to tackle such people
"that's what you always do Sanskaar disrespecting your elder'' Lakshya entered angrily as he saw Swara holding Sanskaar arms
As she saw him, she again felt all the bitter happy memories rushing to her mind...she knew something very messy will happen that's exactly why she din't want to come to the badi
"Lakshya I am not like you who will stay quiet and watch injustice happen...for once act mature"
He ended as Sharmishta and Swara pulled him inside along with dida
They all Sat on the dining table without a word said
"I said you did very well Sanskaar! Those people only used my shomi and shona"
"Maa please!!" sharmishta tried to stop her mother
"No maa!! Dida is right... infact I will say you and dida shift with us...I will buy another bigger house and we will live together...there's no need for you two to listen to those nonsense everyday" He was considering her family more than her
She couldn't believe how he defending them...never ever someone defending them the way he did...respect for him grew in her heart
"Sanskar, We always stayed here and now we don't want to go away...and earlier things were different but now shomi is shekar's wife...we can't just run away from the mess and say it's all fine, we will have to stay and remove a solution to all'' Dida explained and he agreed smiling at her
They all dined like a family but each with a worry deep inside their heart
After the diner swara went out and found Ragini standing with a phone in her hands..."Well I am glad you found Sanskaar, and here is your phone I don't need it anymore" she gave it to her
"Thank you ragini!" she said while taking her phone
"it's okay my work is done...I din't mean bitterness I just wanted lakshya we are still sisters you know!"
"I din't thank you for the phone...I thanked you for the new life you gave me...the one worry I have is the separation of my parents but I guess some day Durga Ma will surely show the truth to all and reunite my parents...but ever thought what will happen to you that day???" She questioned
"When that day will come Lakshya will be already mine and he's already hating you Swara soon I will remove every single trace of you out of his life and replace it with mine" Saying so she turned her back against her
And she hit the pillar with her back closing her eyes letting her tears flow out
Sharmishta watched her daughter breaking down and ran to hold her
"Why Maa???... why only with us??? Why did God write this misfortune only in our destiny first you couldn't get your love and now me???why??" she hugged her mother and cried
"No Shonu!! We aint misfortune...someday truth will surely come out...and look you din't lose anything, he did...don't cry'' she hugged her daughter never she thought someday her daughter will have to go through the pain she has been enduring since years
"You mother daughter got my son away from his family and now lying here and crying" Sujata said angrily
"Mom!!!!" He stepped in without letting swara and sharmishta answer..."Your son away from his family??? Really mom, when was I part of your family??? In soo many years you din't show me as much affect as I received from sharmishta maa though not her son...I am proud to be part of this little family mom but you will not understand, you are blinded by your soo called family reputation, once look well at it mom you will realize how shallow it is from inside'' He sighed angrily as his mom left
Sharmishta looked at Sanskar thanking the stars for him for her daughter..."You're not unlucky shona...maybe life reserved something much better in your destiny"
They both hugged Sharmishta and dida leaving for their home
In the car Swara kept her eyes fixed on Sanskar
"You want to say something???" He asked keeping his concentration on the road
"I wanted to say thank you!"
"Again???" he stopped the car in a corner...thinking she might want to talk
"Yes Sanskaar...but not for all you did for me...but for being the son my mom and dida never had" She turned towards him and said
"Really?? How many times should I tell you Swara they are my family too now and protecting my family is my Duty"
"You know Sanskaar...I know I can never take Kavita's place in your life and trust me I will never even try too but I promise you I will always be your bestfriend...and we will share all'' Her life completely changed in these two days but still she was brave enough to trust again in a new relationship and he could see excitement for this new relationship in her eyes
"Same here...I know I will never be what you expected from Lakshya but I will always be there for you Swara...even if you fight with me" he tried to lightened the air as both smiled
And he resumed his driving, leaving the rest on fate
