Chapter 6

Gadodias arrived at the hospital first.

"Swara Gadodia kaha hai?" Shekhar asked the receptionist.

"Aap kaun hai?" She asked.

"Main uska pita hoon" Shekhar replied face paled with worry.

"Unki abhi operation chal rahi hai" She replied.

"Operation Theatre kaha hai?" He asked.

"Udhar se jaa ke left turn kijiye wahi par hai" She answered pointing towards a corridor A&E written on it.

They rushed towards the Operation Theatre. Laksh stood outside the OT with swollen red eyes, his expression was unreadable.

"Laksh beta kya hua?" Shekhar asked.

Laksh just stared at him blankly without replying.

"Laksh beta kuch toh bolo meri Shona kaisi hai?" Shomi neared Laksh.

"Yeh khoon kaise?" Shomi asked seeing his hands and shirt covered in blood.

"Kahi yeh S-Shona ki khun toh nahi?" Shomi asked frantically.

"Meri bachi~!!" Shomi broke into a fit of tear when Laksh flinched slightly confirming her doubt.

"Shomi bitiya tum aise himmat haro gi toh Swara ka kya hoga? Chup hoja maari bachi" Dadi hugged Shomi as she wiped her tears. Dadi's tear flowed freely too.

"Shekhar himmat rakho beta Swra ko kuch nahi hoga" Dadaji consoled Shekhar but Dadaji himself was emotional too.

All the Maheshwari arrived at the hospital with the exception of Sanskaar and Sujata.

"Sharmishta ji" Annapurna hugged Shomi crying.

"Yah sab kya ho gaya Annapurna ji meri Shona~" Shomi wailed loudly.

"Laksh" Durga Prasad turned his son so that he was facing him. He had never seen his son like this Laksh looked like a zinda-laash his body was here but his soul was somewhere else.

"Laksh beta~" Annapurna hugged her son.

His mother's embrace and voice brought him back to reality.

"Maa w-w-woh S-S-Swara" Laksh broke down and cried his heart out.

"Nahi beta aise rohte nahi" Annapurna said gently patting his back.

"Bas Laksh rohna band karo" Annapurna tried to stop him from crying but Laksh kept on wailing like a baby making everyone cry along with him even Durga Prasad teared up seeing his son in so much pain.

After several hours the OT's door finally opened and a doctor came out with a grim expression.

"Doctor meri Shona kaisi hai?" Laksh asked.

"The bullet just barely missed her heart and vital organs by few inches but due to the heavy blood loss she went into coma" The doctor replied.

"Meri beti thik toh hogi na?" Shekhar asked.

"Dekhiye main aap logon ko jhooti tasalli nahi dena chahta Miss.Swara ki halat bahut nazuk hai woh shayad theek bhi hosakti hai par aap sab log apna mann bana lijiye kyun ki woh kabhi bhi apna dum thod sakti hai" Doctor said sadly.

"KYA BAKWAS BAK RAHE HO!!!! MERI SWARA KO KUCH NAHI HOGA SUNA TUM NE!!!" Laksh held the doctor by the collar and shook him violently.

"Laksh chod doh doctor saab ko, he is just doing his duty leave him Laksh" Adarsh said pulling his enraged brother away from the doctor.

"I'm sorry doctor saab" Shekhar appologised.

"Koii baat nahi main samajh sakta hoon inki halat I'll be right back" The doctor excused himself and left.

"Chod do mujhe Bhai main uss doctor ko nahi chodunga uski yeh bolne ki himmat kaise hui? Meri Swara mujhe akela chhod kar kabhi nahi jaa sakti hai" Laksh struggled trying to break free from his brother's grip.

Sharmishta's legs gave away, she dropped to the cold cement floor and cried hysterically.

-An hour later-

Everybody went to visit Swara, She looked like a sleeping princess. It was quite in the room except for the machine's beeping and their sobs.

"Visiting hour khatam ho gaya hai aap mein se sirf ek insaan yahan patient ke saath ruk sakta hai" A Nurse came in with the dressing and medicine.

"Main rukta hoon Shona ke paas" Laksh said as he sat near Swara's bed holding her hand.

"Thik hai Laksh beta agar koi baat ho toh mujhe call karna thik hai" Shekhar said squeezing Laksh's shoulder. Laksh nodded his eyes fixed on Swara.

"Chalo Mishti" Shekhar held Shomi and left with everyone. The nurse finished dressing Swara's wound, changed the saline bottle and left.

Laksh sat there as he held her hand and kissed it gently.

"Shona don't leave me please~ I cannot live without you" Laksh sniffed as a fresh set of tears fell down his eyes.

Chapter 7

"Lucky~! Catch me if you can *Merong*( = :P)" Swara shouted as she ran away. She threw a fistful of sand at him making his frown.

They were on a Beach date because Swara wanted to watch the sunset.

"Swara ki bachi!" Laksh chased after her.

Swara was wearing a black denim shorts with pink bikini top and a loose white cotton shirt on top. She wore her favourite bracelet and a white gold necklace with heart-shaped ruby pendant matched by ruby earrings - her valentine gift by Laksh.

"Caught you~" Laksh said hugging her from the back. He lifted her and twirled.

"Bas-bas Laksh mujhe chakkar aa raha hai" Swara said holding her head. Laksh stopped.

"What are you doing? Put me down" Swara squealed when Laksh suddenly leaned down and pulled her leg up carrying her in his arms princess-style.

Swara held his white shirt staring at him mesmerised by his hotness. Laksh was wearing a simple white shirt with black jeans with his watch and a necklace with S.L engraved on it. He suddenly got a wicked idea.

"Laksh No! Don't even think about it" Swara warned alerted by the sexy evil smirk on his face.

"It's payback time Darling~" Laksh moved towards the water unaffected by Swara's struggling.

"Lucky~ please let me go baby I love you very much~" Swara asked in the sweet voice batting her eyes.

"I love you too Babes~" Laksh said before dropping Swara in the water with a big splash.

"LAKSH!!! Ew so salty" Swara coughed.

"Ah hahahahaha look at your face" Laksh laughed.

"I Hate You Laksh" Swara said pouting.

"What did you say Babe? Aw~ I Love You Too My Shona~ *Muah**Foo~*" Laksh said giving a flying kiss.

Swara splashed the water towards him and thus began their water-splashing fight.

"Swara bas-bas" Laksh said.

"Kya kaha tumne Lucky you want more?" Swara teased splashing water at him without mercy.

"If you don't stop on the count to 10 you are going to regret it" Laksh warned then started counting.

"1 2 3 4...10 You are a dead meat now" Laksh said moving forward. Swara backed away scared.

"L-L-Laksh yeh tum kya kar rahe ho?" Swara stuttered.

"You should have listened to me when I warned you my love" Laksh smirked.

Her back crashed into a big boulder stopping her from escaping. Laksh inched forward his grin growing wider as his distance grew nearer to Swara.

Laksh unbuttoned his shirt and threw it away exposing his chocolatey abs.

"Laksh-" Swara began to protest.

"Sh!~" Laksh put his index finger on top of her red lips. He stared at her eyes then his gaze moved to her soft lips. Her eyes went round when she noticed where his gaze were fixed. Laksh leaned in to kiss her but she turned her face away. Laksh kissed her exposed neck.

"Laksh~" Swara gasped facing him. Laksh leaned in again.

"Laksh koi aa gaya toh?" Swara said looking around.

"Don't worry this is a private beach no-one besides you and me are allowed in" Laksh said brushing her lips with his teasing her.

"Tsk" Swara grabbed his neck pulled him and kissed him deeply when she could no longer bare his temptation.

"Easy there Tigress~" Laksh chuckled he lifted her she automatically wrapped her legs around his waist. He deepened his kiss, they were now french kissing clinging onto each other as if their life depended on it.

-30 Minutes Later-

They finally separated breathing heavily staring at each other and smiled.

"Damn! That was the best kiss I've ever had in my life" Laksh admitted pulling Swara closer.

"Oh no my lipgloss got smeared on you lips" Swara said wiping off his lips.

"Aise kya dekh rahe ho? Don't get any ideas" Swara pushed him away and cover her chest.

"Oh come on Shona I won't cross my limit, tumhe apne Lucky par vishwas nahi hai?" Laksh asked looking a little hurt.

"I'm sorry baby par you know how men are and their hormones" Swara said hugging him.

"That's true we do have all sorts of urges but I promised you that I won't do it before our marriage and I will keep my promise unless you jump on me then I won't be responsible for what happens after that" Laksh grinned.

"Oh Hello~ Stop dreaming I'm not going to jump on you" Swara said.

The Sun began to set. Laksh buttoned his shirt climbed on the boulder and pulled Swara.

"It's really beautiful" Swara said resting her head on his chest.

"Yeah but not as beautiful as you" Laksh said stared lovingly at his girlfriend.

Swara smiled brightly her heart filled with warmth seeing his love for her.

"Ghar chale?" Laksh asked getting up.

"Haan" Swara nodded.

Laksh jumped down first then stretched his hands held her waist and pulled her down gently.

"Wait Laksh" Swara said holding his hand stopping him.

"Kya hua Swara?" Laksh asked facing her.

"I have something to give you, close your eyes" Swara said.

"Par kyun?" Laksh asked looking at her doubtfully.

"Par-war kuch nahi just close your eyes and no peeking" Swara said.

"Okay" Laksh finally complied.

"Are you ready?" Swara asked holding back a laughter.

"Yes" Laksh replied like a obedient child.

"TAKE THAT!" Swara splashed water on his face.

"Swara!"

"Swara" He snapped back to the present.

"Shona~" He cried again. He cried himself to sleep.

Chapter 8

-In the Morning-

"Laksh utho" Adarsh shook his little brother.

"Haan Bhai Swara ko hosh aa gaya?" Laksh got up immediately and looked at Swara his face fell when he saw no improvement in her condition.

"Nahi main tumhare liye khana aur kapde laya tha, Maa aur Papa dopeher ko aayenge dono raat bar soye nahi the abhi-abhi unki aankh lagi thi toh maine unhe disturb nahi kiya" Adarsh explained and handed a suitcase to Laksh.

"Tum fresh ho jao main khana laga ta hoon" Adarsh said.

"No Bhai mujhe bhukh nahi hai" Laksh said.

"Tune kal se kuch bhi nahi khaya hai tumhari bhabhi ne subha chaar baje uthkar yeh khas tumhare liye banaya hai Swara ke liye thoda sa toh khale nahi toh main Swara ke thik hone ke baad usse teri sikayat karunga. Come on Laksh Please khale" Adarsh asked.

Laksh smiled a little and nodded before going to take a shower. Swara was admitted in a Private room so it had a personal bathroom.

-Several hours later-

"Main ab chalta hoon office pe kaam waise hi pada hoga" Adarsh got up.

"Tum thik toh hona Laksh?" Adarsh asked patting his brother's shoulder.

"Main thik hoon Bhai" Laksh waved him goodbye.

"Bye Laksh" Adarsh left.

*Knock-Knock*

"Come in" Laksh replied his gaze fixed on Swara.

"Mr.Lakshya Maheshwari yeh bracelet Miss.Swara ji haat pe thi she was holding onto it tightly in a fist" She said handing the bracelet to Laksh.

"Thank you Sister" Laksh said looking at the bracelet carefully.

"You are welcome Sir" She said before leaving.

"Swara come on why are you ignoring me? Play with me" Laksh whined as he played with her hair.

"Tsk! Laksh mujhe tang mat karo aur main tumhe ignore nahi kar rahi hoon I'm busy right now" Swara said concentrating on making the bracelet.

"Agar tumhe bracelet chahiye toh mujhe bolti main tumhare liye ek kya dus bracelet kharid deta. Itna kanjusi thik nahi hai Shona" Laksh joked.

Laksh would never let go of the slightest chance to pull on Swara's leg. It was so fun to tease Swara, seeing her frown and pout were too cute.

"OW! Why did you do that for?" Laksh complained rubbing his shin.

"That's what you get for teasing me if you don't stop, I'll kick your other leg too. Aur dumbo~ store bought item pe woh personal touch nahi hota and it's unique too" Swara said showing off her finish bracelets.

"Par doh kyun Swara?" Laksh asked curious.

"One for me and one for my precious person" Swara said wearing one bracelet.

"Me?" Laksh said outstretching his wrist toward Swara.

"Dumbo~ How can you wear a ladies bracelet" Swara laughed making Laksh blush with embarrassment.

"T-Toh Phir kiske liye hai?" He stuttered his face as red as a tomato.

"Aw~ My Cutie Lucky~ This is for my sister Ragini" Swara said pinching his flushed cheeks.

"Dekho it says 'Swaragini' on both but mine one has L<3S & S<3L on the back" Swara explained turning her bracelet and showed it to him.

"Yeh kya hai?!!" Laksh asked feeling jealous.

"It means Laksh loves Swara & Swara loves Laksh samjhe Mr.Buddhu" Swara smiled.

"Yes Swara Madam" Laksh said saluting her.

"Hahahahahahaha" They stared at each other then bursted into laughter.
