LOL this is so confusing to me.
On one hand, I actually want to really really really like Sanskaar because of the brilliance of his plans. I HATED the precap yesterday about the acid thing and now seeing how it was just a plan to remove himself from the suspect list, I'm actually pretty impressed by it (although again I don't agree with how acid attacks are being trivialized). Same with the whole Ragini kidnap drama -- in theory it would've been an amazing way to seperate SwarYa by causing a MU. I actually thought it would really play out like that. Secondly, I LOVE how he's fighting a battle on two fronts in regards to DP/MF: professionally with his company and personally within their house. Sanskaar comes across as such a worthy opponent.
But, on the flip side, I find it so hard to actually cheer for him because of the humanizing of DP we've been seeing recently. DP, while coming across as villain-ish because of his set ways, also comes across as being 'normal,' for a lack of a better word, because we can see his mindset and how he actually doesn't see himself as a villain. I also can't completely root for Sanskaar because we haven't seen why he's targetting Laksh. As of right now, the entire MF and Laksh come across as so undeserving of Sanskaar hate that seeing him enact his revenge upon unsuspecting people just looks mean and uncalled for.
Idk. For all you can say about Rashmi Sharma and her shows, she really does know how to do grey characters like no other. Rashi from SNS was a classic example of a grey character and I feel like Sanskaar and DP are well on their way to being classical examples as well.
