"He wants to get bashed or what" Swara grumbled out loud while opening the package.
Inside it there wasn't a see-through lace lingerie as she had expected instead it was the most gorgeous clothes she had ever seen it was a knee-length red anarkali suit with golden embroidery and crystals arranged beautifully.
A little note fell down it read.
To - Shona fooled you right hehe wear this today okay Love You~
Swara smiled at the thoughtful Laksh "Dumbo~".
"Chalo Laksh aur kitna tayar hona hai" AP said her son was taking forever to get ready.
"Haan Maa bas do second" Laksh checked his hair for the 20th time now.
"My phone *kiss*" He kissed Swara's picture which was his phone's wallpaper.
Laksh was wearing Black Jeans, black leather belt, tight fitting white shirt with black blazer, his watch, a simple necklace and wristband.
He sprayed on his favourite perfume which was a gift from Swara.
"Okay I'm ready let's go" Laksh came down taking out his car keys.
"Laksh you go with Adarsh and Parineeta (A/N - I'm not sure if I got her name correct) hum tumhare Papa ke saath aathe hai aur Ram and Uttara has left they are buying few shagun's item on the way" AP said getting in the car with her husband and they drove off.
"Chaliye Bhai Bhabhi" Laksh said putting on his seatbelt.
On the way.
"Laksh tujhe itna pachina kyun aa raha hai? AC toh on hai" Aadarsh asked concerned.
"I'm fine bhai bas thoda nervous hoon" Laksh said.
"Don't worry Laksh sab thik hojayega jab main Parineeta ka haath mangne gaya tha toh I was nervous too" Aadarsh said patting his brother's shoulder.
"Pata hai yeh itna nervous the ki he almost touched my feet thinking it was my mother" His bhabhi said laughing at the memory.
"Jaise tum toh nervous hi nahi thi na chai mein namak kisne dala tha pata hai Laksh I had to drink the whole cup of salty tea" Aadarsh mocked.
Seeing his bhaiya and bhabhi's cute nok-jhok made him forget all about his anxiety.
In the Badi.
"Aayiye aayiye Namaste batiye" Dida and Shomi welcomed the Maheswaris.
"Shona jara chai aur nasta laana" Dida said.
"Main uski help karti hoon" Shomi said going into the kitchen.
Laksh was eagerly waiting for his Shona to show her face.
Swara came in the lounge whilst holding a tray of Tea and offered it to everyone.
Laksh looked at her dazed she looked so beautiful in that dress like an angel that has descended on earth, her loose curled hair made her look like a princess.
"Laksh chai toh loh" AP nudged him.
"Hahaha lagta hai hamari Shona ki khayalon main khogaya hai" Dida joked.
*Ahem* *cough* was all Laksh could manage to say.
"Hum soch raha the ki koi accha sa muhurat dekh ke baccho ki sagai kar dete aap ka keheti hai" DP asked Dida.
"Humein koi problem nahi haye. Woh dahej ke bare mein" Dida replied.
"Aap kaisi baat kar rahi hai Shobha ji hum dahej lene aur dene main biswas nahi rakhte" AP said.
"Toh yeh tai raha, Kya aap hume Swara ki kundali de sakte hai mujhe humare pandit ji ko dikhana hai" DP said.
"Haan kyun nahi Shomi Shona ki kundali dena" Shobha said to Shomi.
"Yeh lijiye" Shomi gave it to AP.
"Sukriya" AP kept it in her bag.
"Ab hum chalte hai, Hume pandit ji se bhi baat karni hai" AP said getting up.
"Itni jaldi" Laksh said disappointed.
He didn't even get a chance to speak with Swara even once.
"We have to go to see the pandit ji na" AP said.
"Maa aap Papa aur chacha-ji, Papa ki gadi main jayiye hamare waha kya kaam toh hum sab direct ghar jaa rahe hai" Aadarsh said helping his brother who looked like he was about to cry any moment now.
"Accha hum tumhe ghar main milte hai chalo Annapurna" DP said starting his car and driving off.
"Okay toh Laksh hum chalte hai jaldi aana nahi toh Papa ki dant padegi" Aadarsh said smiling.
"Thank you bhaiya you're the best" Laksh whispered hugging his brother.
"Main aap logo ko bahar tak chodti hoon Dida main abhi aayi" Swara said.
"Bye bhaiya" Laksh said bidding his brother farewell.
"Okay bye Laksh" Swara tried to leave.
Laksh took hold of her hand spun her and pinned her to a wall in the corner away from other people's view.
"Itni jaldi kaha chali my chamak chalo" Laksh whispered.
Leaning forward his lips brushed Swara's ear making her heart thud like a drum.
"You look so gorgeous in that suit" Laksh said seductively.
*Thud thud thud* Swara's heart felt like it was about to explode.
Laksh's heart was in no better condition than that of Swara's he felt like he was about to have a cardiac attack.
SwarYa was lost in each other's eyes when suddenly.
*BREAK* A loud sound of glass breaking startled them both.
