Chapter 16

As soon as the police van left with Ragini and the Gadodias following after it Swara broke down.

"Swara sab kuch thik hoga trust me don't cry" Laksh consoled Swara embracing her.

Laksh teared up too Swara's pain always stabbed him like a thousand daggers ripping his heart into million pieces.

"She tried to kill me Laksh I love her so much but she hates me my sister hates me" Swara wept miserably.

"Bas Shona don't cry, Shona your tears are ruining my sherwani yaar it's brand new" Laksh said trying to lighten the mood.

"Kya?! Tumhe meri nahi iss stupid sherwani ki padi hai? Ab pata chala why you were stopping me from crying" Swara chased after Laksh.

"Arre Swara kya kar rahi ho?" Laksh ran away.

"I'm going to rip your bloody sherwani into pieces" Swara pounced on him.

"Abhi nahi shadi tak wait karlo then you can rip as much sherwanis as you want when I'm wearing it of course" Lucky teased.

"Laksh! besharam kahi ke! you are a dead meat now" Swara started beating him.

"Help Maa aap ki bahu mujhe mar rahi hai" Laksh said.

AP could only smile.

"Okay Laksh Swara go freshen up sagai is still pending" DP said entering Maheswari Mansion.

He had gone to the Police Station with Ram to make sure that Ragini got jailed with no chances of bail.

SwarYa went upstairs to get ready.

"You sure you are okay agar tum kaho toh I can postpone the engagement for now" Laksh said.

"No I'm fine aur subh kaam main deri kyun right" Swara replied she was fortunate to have such a caring lover.

A while later...

"Swara did you find the ring?" Shomi asked.

"Haan Maa I have it here" Swara said showing the ring.

"Sagai suru kare Durga Prasad ji" Pandit Ji asked.

"Haan suru kijiye" DP said.

"Ab aap dono ek dushre to angguthi pehenaiye" Pandit-Ji said after he finished reciting the Mantras.

SwarYa exchanged rings which fitted them both perfectly as if it was meant to be for them.

"Chalo party suru karti hai" Omi said as soon as the adults left to other lounge.

DP had allowed the kids to party in Maheswari Mansion on this special occasion.

"Swara tumhe pata hai if a guy buys a ring by measuring his pinky finger and if it perfectly fits it his girl's ring finger than they are meant to be" Laksh whispered in Swara's ear.

"And?" Swara asked wondering where Laksh's was going with this.

"It fitted perfectly did it not?" Laksh said holding out Swara's hand.

"Oh~" Swara said finally getting it, She was both touched and happy by the revelation.

"Arre tum dono kya khussur-phussur kar raheho aapas main?" Omi asked.

"Tujhe itni jalan kyun ho rahi hai? Itni hi Jealousy ho rahi hai toh go find yourself a girl" Laksh replied.

"I will samjha! Bhabhi koi acchi si ladki se mera set up karwa do na" Omi asked Swara, He loved ticking Lucky off it was so fun to watch his friend's reaction.

"Why are you asking her is she a matchmaker or your mother jo tere liye ladki dhoondegi" Laksh said irritated.

"Hey Don't be mean Laksh" Swara said.

"I'll introduce you with a girl who is single but you have to promise me to treat her nicely" Swara said although she knew Omi was a nice guy at heart.

"Ai sapat Bhabhi aap milwa toh doh I'll treat her like a princess" Omi promised eagerly.

"What? Princess? Eww-*Ahem*" Laksh began but stopped as soon as Swara glared at him.

"Stop it yaar Swara are you trying burn me your laser beam" Laksh said when her glare was too much to handle.

"Hey I love this song let's dance" Excited Laskh pulled Swara to dance with him.

~Saree ke fall sa~ was playing in the background.

SwarYa's body moved to the music like a possessed people.

Aadarsh whistled today he was taking a break from his goody-goody son avatar.

"Come on everyone join in" Laksh said still dancing.

Everybody enjoyed, Ragini's drama long forgotten from their minds.

"Maa maine Swara ko bol diya hai I'm going to take a shower" Laksh shouted.

*Beep-Beep* Laksh honked.

"Haan aarahi hoon baba" Swara said getting in the passenger seat.

"You look mind-blowing~" Laksh said checking her out since it was summer Swara was wearing a pale yellow Summer-Dress.

"Thank you~ you look okay too (Swara's inner-thought said - Damn! he looks so hot!)" Swara said putting on her seat-belt.

They parked outside a huge mall.

It had everything from jewellery, sherwani, shoes etc everything you need for a wedding.

"Hello Sir Hello Madam Welcome To Swathy Mall" Said a dwarpal.

"They are waiting for us in the first floor" Laksh said holding Swara's hand in his.

First floor was a Men's section.

"Kya hum pehle tumhare kapde select kar rahe hai?" Swara asked looking around for AP and Uttara.

"Haan kyunki tumhara dress select karne mein toh it's going to take a whole day so I thought ki chalo I should finish mine first" Laksh said.

Swara nudged him "Come on I won't take that long"

"We'll see about that, look there they are Maa!" Laksh said waving.

"Come on Bhaiya Bhabhi hurry up" Uttara said beckoning SwaYa.

"Pai lagu Mommy-ji" Swara said touching AP's feet.

"Khush raho beta aaona Laksh ki shadi ka joda pasand karne mein hamari madat karo" AP said.

"Sir Madam aap kya lenge cold or hot drink?" Said the manager.

Her name plate read Sanskruta( A/N - Guess who? LOL)

"I'll have a coke Sanskruta-Ji Swara tum kya logi" Laksh said.

"I'll have the same" Swara said busy looking at the fabrics.

"Here's your drink Sir" Sanskruta said smiling politely.

"Thank you Sanskruta-Ji" Laksh replied equally polite.

"Sir please just call me Sans" Sankruta said shyly.

"Okay Sans, where are you from?" Laksh asked.

That got Swara's attention.

"Sherwani ke liye fabric select kare?" Swara said sipping her coke loudly.

Oh sh*t Lucky tu toh gaya kaam se - Laksh thought.

"Sure why not, Do you like any?" Laksh said quickly

Sans thought what a lovely couple they make.

They spend the entire day selecting dresses and in between SwarYa had their usual bickerings.

AP and Uttara was so used to their nok-jhok that they didn't even bothered stopping them.

The Wedding Day.

"Badhu ko bulaiye" Pandit-Ji said.

Laksh was clad in a cream sherwani with a blue crystal brooch on left-side where his heart was and a layered gold chain joining the brooch to second button of his sherwani. he was wearing the khandani pearl necklace and gujarati pakdi with Red head-pin ( A/N - I don't know what it's called sorry).

Swara was wearing Red Lehenga with Gold and Green embroideries it was a bit heavy with all the gems but a bride has look beautiful. Her make-up was done perfectly and hair was done in a bun with tiara making her look-like a real princess. Her jewelleries complimenting her lehenga perfectly.

Uttara and Shomi helped Swara go the mandap.

She was really nervous and a little sad at the fact that she has to leave her maayka.

Laksh seeing her face held her hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze which made Swara relax and cheer up.

"Kanyadaan ke liye Badhu ke mata-pita aage aa jayiye" Pandit said.

Swara's face suddenly fell thinking about Shekhar.

"Swara ki Maa bhi main hoon aur Pita bhi so I will do the kanyadaan" Shomi said smiling at her daughter.

"Maa" Swara said looking at her.

"Don't worry Shona humein usski koi jaroorat nahi hai we were happy without him and we will be happy without him don't waste you precious tears on those who don't deserve it" Shomi said cupping Swara's face.

"Ab Bar badhu ko Sindoor aur Mangalsutra pehnayiye" Pandit-Ji said.

Laksh filled Swara's maang and put on mangalsutra.

"Ab Bar-Badhu phere ke liye khade ho jayiye" Pandit-Ji said motioning everyone else to rise as well "Om Mangalam Bhagwan Vishnu..." He continued as SwarYa did the pheres.

"Vivah sampanna hua ab dono bado ki ashirwad lijiye" Pandit said.

SwarYa took blessing of everyone. AP and Maheshwaris left to prepare for the Griha Pravesh.

Lakshya's car was decorated with roses and on the back it read 'HAPPY WEDDING~SWARYA FOREVER surrounded by red rose heart.

It must be my friends work - Laksh thought.

SwarYa got on the wedding car after a teary send off by Dida and Shomi.

SwarYa was welcomed by AP doing aarti and the usual Griha Pravesh ceremony.

SwarYa's room was decorated pretty flowers and candles.

Their bed was draped with jasmine and rose canopies, a big heart made with red rose petals in the centre of the bed.

"Chaliye bhabhi" Uttara pulled Swara towards the bedroom first and made her sit in the bed.

"Aap yahan bethiye aur bhaiya ka intezar kijiye" Uttara said laughing at the shy Swara.

She along with Parineeta went and stood outside the door.

Laksh was really running out of his patience.

Yeh Papa aur bhaiya ko bhi aaj ka din mila mujhse itni der baat karne ke liye - Thought an anxious Lucky.

Yes! Finally free at last Laksh hurried towards his bedroom but Uttara and Bhabhi was blocking the entrance.

"Come on Uttara Bhabhi let me in" Laksh pleaded with puppy dog eyes.

"Nope you have to give us money first" Uttara said still blocking him.

"Take it just take it all and let me in" Laksh said emptying all his pocket.

"Wow bhaiya must be really desperate hahaha" Uttara teased Laksh.

"Uttara ki bacchi" Laksh threatened.

*Merong* Uttara stuck her tongue at him and ran away.

"Finally chali gayi" Laksh signed with relief.

Laksh entered and locked the door *Cough* He scratched his head "S-Swara-" *knock-knock*

"Kon hai?!" Asked a frustrated Lucky opening the door.

"Tu phir aagayi" Laksh said Uttara was really getting on his nerves tonight.

"Sorry bhai I forgot to give you this" Uttara said.

"Yeh kya hai? Itni raat ko doodh kaun pita hai" Asked a confused Laksh.

"Arre bhaiya aap bhi bilkul buddhu ho this is badam ka doodh okay I'm leaving" Uttara said handing over a tray with two glasses of badam milk.

Laksh closed the door it was awkwardly silent Swara who usually chattered non-stop was sitting on the bed quietly.

"Here drink it Swara" Laksh offered her a glass of the milk.

"Thank you" Swara said holding the glass.

"Hey let's see who finishes it first" Laksh said.

"What's the prize" Swara said.

"How about this whoever wins gets to decide our honeymoon destination" Laksh said.

"Deal on count of three" Swara said getting ready.

"1...2...3" Both started drinking

"I Won!"

Chapter 18

"I Won!" Swara said showing her empty glass.

"Wow Shona you are fast" Laksh said finishing his milk.

"Woh toh hoon Loser~" Swara said grinning.

Laksh smiled he had lost on purpose seeing his Shona happy was his priority after all.

"So where do you want to go?" Laksh asked putting his and her glass on the bedside table.

"Abhi nahi bataungi subha bataungi" Swara said smiling.

*Silence*

It was back to the awkward silence again.

Swara quickly cover her face with her dupatta Laksh looked on puzzled at her behaviour.

"Tum yeh kya kar rahi ho Swara apna muh kyun dhak liya" Laksh inched towards her.

"Uffo! Dumbo~tum rom-com movies nahi dekhte ho kya" Swara asked.

"Yes I do watched it with you" Laksh said.

"Aur jab unki shadi hoti hai toh woh kya karte hai" Swara asked.

"Woh ghughat uttha te- Oh I got it now" Laksh said finally getting the picture.

"Should I sing a song too" Laksh joked slowly lifting her veil.

Swara was looking down like a shy bride Laksh slowly lifted her chin so that she was looking at him.

"I Love You Swara" Laksh said lightly kissing her forehead.

He removed her maang tika, then kissed her right ear then removed her earring doing the same with her left ear, kissed her nose removing her nose-ring then proceeded to remove her necklace, bangles, dupatta.

Swara hugged him tightly feeling too shy to meet him eyes "I Love You Too Laksh"

"Are you scared?" Laksh asked staring at her intensely.

"A little" Swara nodded.

"Do you want me to stop" He didn't want to force her.

"No it's okay" Swara replied.

"Are you sure?" Laksh asked.

Swara just nodded. He closed the lights but the candles provided enough light to see his wife's glowing face she looked so beautiful and sexy.

He kissed her in the lips. A very deep passionate kiss.

*Birds chirping* 6 am in the morning.

Swara opened her eyes to see Laksh staring at her lovingly.

Swara's arms was wrapped around him.

"Good Morning Biwi~" Laksh said removing a strand of hair from her face.

"Good Morning~ Did you sleeping well?" Swara asked yawning.

"You know I did" Laksh teased leaning in to kiss her neck.

"Wasn't yesterday enough for you" Swara pushed him away getting up searching for her clothes.

"Have you seen my clothes?" Swara asked looking for her suitcase.

"Your clothes are in the closet" Laksh said walking to the closet.

"Let's go take a shower wifey" Laksh said lifting her in his arms carrying her to his bathroom princess style.

Swara was drying her hair when Laksh suddenly back hugged her.

"How are you feeling? How does it feel to be married Mrs.Swara Laksh Maheshwari?" Laksh asked kissing her shoulder and resting his head on it looking at her in the mirror.

"It feels good hubby dear" Swara said while wearing bangles and earrings.

"I'll do it" Laksh said when she tried to put on sindoor and filled her maang.

"You go ahead I'll join you shortly" Swara said.

"Okay wifey~" Laksh said going downstairs.

Everyone was already at the breakfast table.

"Aao Laksh betho" AP said.

Swara went to the kitchen and made halwa.

She brought it to the table and AP served it. Everyone was happy just like how Laksh had dreamed long ago.

Swara came and sat besides him. He stared at her.

She wore similar bengali saree with hair let down in curls. Laksh was lost in the dejavu moment.

"Laksh...Laksh" Swara nudged him lightly.

"Haan kya hua?" Laksh asked still dazed.

"Tumhara nasta thanda ho raha hai" Swara said.

"Halwa bahut accha bana hai" DP and AP said giving Swara a beautiful diamond set as a shagun.

"Toh kaha jane ka plan kiya tum dono ne" AP asked SwarYa

"Swara will tell" Laksh said waiting for her reply.

Chapter 19

"Swaryaland" Swara said.

"Arre woh toh bahut famous honeymoon destination hai na?" Uttara said excited.

"How do you know all this things" Laksh asked.

"Oh come~ Bhaiya travel magazine pe sab likha hota hai par aapko toh Bhabhi ko dekhne se fursat mile tab na" Uttara said winking at Swara.

"Anyways it's really famous for it's beautiful sceneries, the people there are very friendly and the best thing is you can take long drive to go there so romantic" Uttara said smiling.

(A/N - I don't know any places in India so I just made one up and what better then our Swaryaland right? *wink*)

"Have you packed everything?" AP asked feeding them dahi-shakkar.

"Haan Maa sab pack kar liya hai" Laksh said touching her feet.

"Accha mommy-ji hum chalte hain" Swara touched her feet too.

"Khush raho sada suhagan raho acche se jana" AP said.

"Bye Maa bye Uttara" Laksh and Swara waved goodbye.

"Laksh how far is it" Swara asked looking at her watch, They had been driving for the past an hour and a half.

"We'll be there in an hour or so" Laksh said his eyes focused on the road.

"Let's take a short break look there is a small restaurant let's eat something" Swara said.

He stopped near the restaurant and parked his car.

"Kya khayenge saab" Asked the restaurant owner.

"Do masala chai aur ek plate samosa, ek plate mixed vegetable pakora is there anything you want to add to it Swara" Laksh asked his wife.

"Jalebi-fafda" Swara said.

"Abhi laya" The R.O said

"It brings back the memory of the college days trips doesn't it" Laksh said feeling nostalgic.

"Haan sach main it used to be so much fun" Swara smiled at the memories.

"Yeh lijiye aap ka khana" The R.O said placing the foods on the table.

"Thank you let's eat Shona I'm starving like hell~" Laksh said.

"Tum dono newly-weds ho?" Asked an elderly couple sitting in the table next to SwarYa.

"Haan hamari kal hi shaadi huyi thi" Laksh replied looking towards the couple.

"Love marriage hai na" Said the wife grinning.

"Haan Auntie-Ji love marriage hai" Swara said smiling politely.

"Bhaag ke shaadi ki hai?" Asked the husband.

"Nahi parents ki marzi se huyi hai" Laksh said.

They chatted some more after finishing their meal Laksh paid the bill and SwarYa left.

"Bye-bye Uncle Auntie it was nice meeting you" SwarYa waved them goodbye before leaving.

They arrived and checked into the their hotel room.

"They were cute couple right? Despite their age they looked so much in love with eachother" Swara said on the way to their room.

"Haan they did look happy" Laksh agreed.

"Do you think we'll be like them when we grow old" Swara asked hugging Laksh the side.

"Yes beacause my love for you won't fade with time it will only grow more as the time goes by" Laksh replied hugging her close.

"Me too I love you now I'll love you more tomorrow and so on" Swara said smiling at him.

"Oh God I'm tired~" Laksh laid in the bed as soon as they entered their room.

"Do you want a massage" Swara asked patting his head gently.

Laksh pulled her in his arms, she laid her head on his chest and they both fell asleep tired from the long journey.

Laksh stretched his arms waking up.

"Swara~" Laksh mumbled scanning the room with his eyes looking for his wife.

*Sound of the shower running* Oh she must be taking a bath.

Suddenly an evil idea popped in his head, he tip-toed near the bathroom waiting besides the door.

Swara after showering and changing to her clothes was no towel drying her hair.

I wonder if he is awake Swara thought opening the door and stepping out of the bathroom.

"BOO! Got you Shona~" Laksh screamed laughing like crazy.

"AH! Laksh!" Swara screamed holding her heart, It thumped and thudded so quick that it was making her feel faint.

Swara fainted. Laksh barely managed to caught her.

"Shona~ Kya hua Swara I was joking oh god what have I done Swara please uttho" Laksh patted her cheeks trying to wake her, worry washed over his face he mentally kicked himself for playing such a childish prank.

Swara slightly opened her right eye and looked at Laksh, he looked as if he was about to burst into tears at any minute.

Swara stood up and pushed him.

"That's what you get for scaring me" Swara said sticking her tongue at him.

"Swara pagal moti" Laksh said pushing her head.

"Kya kaha how dare you call your wife pagal moti" Swara said folding her arms.

"And how dare you scare your husband like that" Laksh said copying her pose.

"You started it and stop copying me" Swara said staring at him.

They had a staring contest Laksh blinked.

"Haha! I won Loser~" Swara said happy at her victory.

Both stared at each other silently then bursted into laughter.

They were both had an immature childish side but I guess that's what makes them who they are.

Chapter 20

"Are you ready Shona~" Laksh asked checking his hair in the mirror.

"Haan bas yeh dress ki zip lagane mein meri madat kardo na please" Swara said turning her back to him.

"Oh Hello~ I asked you to zip it not unzip it" Swara said turning her head slightly.

"Main wohi kar raha tha I just thought you wanted me to unzip it" Laksh said bending down and kissed her bare back before zipping the dress up.

"Haha very funny Laksh *gasp*" Swara started saying but gasped surprised when he kissed her back.

The sensation of the kiss lingered, blood rushed to her face making her blush furiously.

"Kya hua should I cancel our plan" Laksh winked pinching her cheeks.

"K-Koi jaroorat nahi hai let's go" Swara stuttered.

SwarYa walked hand-in-hand. Today's plan was sightseeing.

"Wow it really is beautiful" Laksh said admiring the view.

"But not as beautiful as you" Laksh quickly said kissing her left cheek then put his hand along her shoulder and pulled her close to him.

Swara held his waist then turned to watch the waterfall, Uttara was right Swaryaland really was amazing.

"Let take a pic" Laksh said pulling out his phone from his pant's pocket.

They took loads of pictures. Spend the whole day visiting different places and eating yummy foods.

SwarYa sat on the bench looking at the sunset.

*Sign* "It really is a beautiful place" Swara said resting her head on Laksh's shoulder.

"Do you like it so much? Tell you what, how about we buy a house here it can be our summer house. What do you think?" Laksh said held her right hand and kissed it lightly.

"I think it's a brilliant idea" Swara said.

"Chale~" Laksh offered his left hand getting up it was starting to get dark now.

"Chalo~" Swara held his hand and they left to their hotel.

They ate dinner at the hotel's buffet and went to the disco.

By the time they returned to their room it was already past mid-night. But they weren't feeling sleepy so they decided to tell each other stories.

"Hey biwi jab tum school pe thi toh kya tum sab log ek dushre ko ghost stories batate the" Laksh said.

"Haan especially when we went on school trip when the electricity used to get cut we used to light a candle gathered around it and tell each other spooky stories" Swara said.

"Aur tum?" Swara asked looking at him.

"We used to dare each other to go to a haunted places, once Omi fainted because he thought he saw a ghost but it was just lady beggar asking for food" Laksh said laughing.

"Hahaha" Swara joined him laughing imagining Omi fainting.

"She did look scary, almost all white hair let down loose, She was wearing a white gown and she kept on saying -I'm hungry give me food or I'll eat you- I guess Omi thought she was going to eat him poor guy" Laksh shaked his head pitying his friend.

"Do you know any scary story?" Laksh asked suddenly in a mood to hear scary stories.
