Chapter 1

" Ragini!!!" swara woke up sweating.

"Oh! it was just a dream" she sighed with relief.

She went in to the kitchen to get a glass of water.

"Why is it so quiet today? Dida? Ma? Kaha chale gaye Sab log?" She said looking around.

Suddenly a pair strong hands grabbed her shoulder from behind.

"Boo!"

"Ah!" Swara screamed startled.

"Shona it's me Laksh" Laksh laughed.

"Laksh! Don't scare me like that" Swara exclaimed hitting him repeatedly.

"I'm sorry Shona ow bas aur mat maro yaar" He said begging for mercy.

"By the way Shona don't you think it's unusually quiet in here?" He asked.

"Yes I was thinking the same thing" She replied.

"Well quiet except for the chatter box here *pointing towards her* he he" He teased.

"Laksh! I'll kill you!" chasing after him.

They spend the whole day chasing after each other playing around and before they realised it was dark the Sun had gone down already.

"Arre bas bas Laksh I'm tired" Swara said catching her breathe.

She sat down in the beranda Laksh sat besides her too.

They waited for everyone to come home but no one had arrived yet.

"It's really late yaar Shona I better leave now see you tomorrow" He said getting ready to leave.

"Wait Laksh can't you sleepover here tonight? Nobody's home yet and the whole badi is empty too" She said pleading him *pouting and showing her puppy dog eyes*.

"S-S-Swara do you even know what you are saying?" Laksh said stuttering.

Chapter 2

"Oh hello don't get any naughty ideas okay I just asked you to accompany me because I'm scared to be alone thats all" She explained.

"O-Okay *blushing red* I'll call home and tell them I'm sleeping over at Omi's house" He said taking his phone out and dialing home.

*ring ring* he tried again *ring ring*

"No ones picking up the phone, let me try Adarsh bhai's cell *ring ring* Tsk!" He dialed everyone's number but no one answered.

"I'll just text Adarsh bhai (- Bhai I'm sleeping over at Omi's place tell mom not to wait for me and go to sleep, Good Night Bhai.) *send* done"

In Swara's room

Swara had already taken out a pillow and a blanket for him in the Sofa. Laksh smiled.

"Good Night Swara" He said.

"Good Night Laksh" She replied.

Both fell asleep fairly quick, tired from all the running around in the afternoon.

*crying* I'm sorry... I'm so sorry mujhe maaf kardo... meri wajhe se...*continues crying sadly*

Swara woke up startled hearing the crying noise.

*Click* Trying to turn on the light switch.

"Uffo! yeh electricity ko bhi issi waqt jana tha" She grumbled.

"L-Laksh Laksh" shaking him.

"Hmm...hmm..." He mumbled.

"Laksh wake up" She said shaking him awake.

"Kya hai Swara? sone dona yaar please" He moaned.

"Laksh ke bacche utho na" She said angrily.

"What is it Swara?" Fully awake.

"I just heard a woman's voice she was crying" She told him.

"You must have dreamed it Shona" He said rubbing his eyes.

"No I swear I heard it, she was crying and apologising to someone" Swara explained

*Laksh tries to find the light switch*

"Koi faida nahi hai electricity cut hogayi hai" She said.

"Mujhe maaf kardo...yeh sab meri wajhe se hua hai"

Both Swara and Laksh froze in fear.
