Yes, they know about his disease 😆 I mean, they are his family, how could and why would he hide something this huge from his family? Especially if it was diagnosed in childhood. Also, Sandhya's conversation with Kunal about why any girl would marry Karan knowing about his issues, or Khayti pulling the curtains in his room closed etc... all indicate that the family knows very well.

What they probably don't know is why he is touch-phobic. The scene you mentioned was when Khayti drunk from his juice and he didn't like and she told him she knew why he didn't like it but he is over-thinking 😆

lol I still don't think he has any major problem other than skin problem. and that too he over does, maybe it's just simple skin problem but he is too much precocious, like his problem is with sunlight but that too is not a problem with the cream he has... but he likes to stay in the dark...and avoid sunlight completely...and the touch phobic, he is afraid it will spread but now it turned to a habit and he doesn't like d to be touched anymore...so I never thought I would say this but as NK thinks his mental problem is more than his actual problem...😆 and Naina will fix it soon...😉

Mental problems are actually pretty serious 😆 The fact that his touch-phobia is this bad shows that there's either more of a reason behind it than we think, or that it was just poorly treated. Like, the family didn't take it seriously or thought he'd need help with it so, it just turned worse.

As for the skin issue - I don't think it is anything dangerous, per se, unless he doesn't take necessary precautions (hence carrying around his medicine, for example). But I do believe it is serious - if it weren't, he wouldn't be this cautious about everything, e.g. what he wears and all that 🤔 And if it weren't half as serious, his family wouldn't be like this... thinking that no one would want to marry him if they knew 🤓

Dekhte hain, they will take their sweet time before revealing anything 😆 Personally, I'd be highly disappointed if his disease turns out to be something fairly harmless (and thus, won't be dealt with well) - because that's what first intrigued me about his character and seems to have marked his personality greatly 😆

Karan isn't ill. But we want his touch phobia to have stemmed from something that hurt him bad as a kid. It needs to be dealt with properly so that it doesn't seem like a petty issue rather than something serious.

Raj - yes 🤣 I mean, skin diseases exist, what's wrong in depicting an illness (of sorts) through a lead? It makes him so much more interesting, imo, plus I find the conflict pretty fascinating: an "imperfect" (not according to me; a disease does not define us) child born into a family where the father is obsessed with perfection and being spotless, and how his issues were dealt with (badly). And combining this with his touch-phobia - I love it 😆 Maybe it's because I like more "complicated" or "angsty" plots, I don't know 😆

Btw:

Just dropping in before going to sleep.

Noor, I love these ones!! I loved tge scene in general. Naina being solemn Karan just giving her these intense looks him turning back every time she tugged at the ghatbandhan. Haye!!

About Karan, I do believe his disease was serious but not infectious. But people's reactions made him touch phobic. There has to be a disease to so severly affect him as his aversion to touch is.i think the cvs have a credible back story here. Hopefully! 😆

On that note, good night! :)

Yes, I mean serious as in more to him. Any disease can be serious if we don't treat or, for chronic ones, if we don't take precautions - but yes, it's not infectious 😆 And the way it was dealt with clearly left him traumatized.

Thanks 😛 If anyone wants those gifs stacked, let me know 🤣

Good night, Sona! 😉
