If you find the descriptions apt, I can't ask for more because I have always been bad at dialogues. Thanks a lot for the appreciation.😊

True, her name is not mentioned anywhere and her marriage is also mentioned in passing only. But I don't think there's any sinister agenda behind that. It is a history and all major players are named. Bhanumathy was not important enough in the context of the epic to be named. Even Drupada's wife is not named. Bhanumathy is a beautiful name and your description is as beautiful as the person it belongs to. 👏 👏 👏

Thanks a lot for the accolade GC.😛 I am very glad that you noted my picturisation of Bhaanu. I wanted her to look different from usual women. Though it did not come exactly like my imagination, I am happy. I am sure that most people will overlook it for the impact of what awaits ahead.😆

Making Draupadi look weak was not a deliberate attempt. I imagined that she just chose to behave modestly among the guests who gathered hearing Bhaanu's shout. As much as Draupadi had no answer to Bhaanu, that Bhaanu also had no answer to Draupadi's remark!! But these all are bound to be overlooked because Draupadi's name is sensational.😆

I agree that Suyodhana's wife does not contribute anything to the main story. But she also was not unimportant enough not to mention her name. She was the antagonist's wife. In fact, names of no queen before Satyavati are needed, I think. Still we read about Devayani, Sharmishtha, Paushti, Shakuntala, Tapati, Sunanda etc etc. And at least 10-15 queens are named in Adi Parva, excluding the above ones. Only these many I remember now.😆 So missing Dury's wife's name looks suspicious for me. Who would like to see the villain's wife stronger than the hero's, I thought.😉

Nevertheless, thanks a lot again, for commenting. I know you really love Draupadi a lot.😃

Ok, i better not say anything more because i may cross the limit. 🤪

Edit-Typo error

Thanks a lot Ramya. I surely understand what you might have felt. But we are writers. I believe that a writer must not try only themes he/she likes as that stops the growth of a writer.😊

Dhivi - I am overwhelmed reading your comment. Even many many thanks will look less for this appreciation you gave me.🤗 If you feel that I correctly portrayed a catfight, I can ask no more.😃

Suyodhana is mentioned as both king and prince in MBh itself though it is unclear that when did he become king. So I took the freedom of making Bhaanumathi queen.

And of course I can feel that triumphant joy in your words.😆 Draupadi's weakness is often overlooked is what we have seen always. I agree with your take on her. She was nothing special compared to other women in the epic. But writers and fans make her look so.

And I did not add Krishna's offer for the simple reason that it was not needed here. Bhaanumathi must have been unaware about it. That K-D question was added because everyone wants to criticise Karna for his notorious deeds in DS but no one wants K-D. K-D and Karna's behaviour in DS comes in same package. They are inseparable. Choosing only what appeals to someone's moral thoughts is just nonsense. That is why it is there. There is no KD other than that in this OS.

Whatever these all may be, thanks a lot for this comment. It made my day!!!😃

Yes.! A shocking piece, I know.🤣 Let the glass-house people do their work anytime. It is easy to recognise. Just look who is more wounded and hurt.😆 You take as much as time you want. No worries.👍🏼

You just sounded like the surgery examiner who questioned me for final year main exam.🤣 Nevertheless, I loved your comment to its full stop.🤗 This is the best comment I got till date because a woman, appreciating my imagination of female characters is the greatest accolade for my efforts and your words are certain to contain the correct psychology. I am feeling very glad that you still remember my Hidimbi. Thanks will be the cheapest thing for your encouraging words, J.😃 Your words are really making me feel like a baby having sugar-rush.😆 And I have a secret to tell you that there is a separate version of MBh written by Vyasa exclusively for me - Jamyniya Maha Bharata. All my ideas come from there. Don't tell anyone about this. These are not imaginations but 100% truth.😉 So we can't blame others who doubt me.😆

Catfight... 😲😆.. Wow.. Jamy.. what were you doing in Gandhari's chamber when these two ladies were fighting with each other... coz I actually felt that scene so real in your words... I saw through your eyes...so first applause for bringing it out so real..👏

Now coming to your controversial matter..😛.. I like Bhanumati , I could understand her anger.. and you made her voice some of very sensible question that any self respecting lady would like to know from draupadi too.. I like draupadi and to be honest I am not that versed with Mahabharat to know what happened with her at VH.. All I have known is thru discussions here and in MB forum. What happened with her was gruesome and totally wrong.. but were only duryodhan, karna and co were wrong at that time... Were those husbands not wrong.. ? What kind of dharma suggest you stake your wife as property..? and which self respecting woman would forgive her husbands to be silent spectators and infact the ones who put her in that situation.. We had lot of discussions on this earlier.. and dont want to continue ...coz i might write longer than your OS too.. Was it all for kingdom? May be not.. I would give her benefit of doubt here.. She was wronged agreed and she wanted justice for it.. thats all.. but does that makes her great..? I would have loved that draupadi and greatly admired and being a fan if She would have left her husbands even after war.. coz for me that would have been some kind of justice on that side too...
Now to K-D angle.. Well Jamy my choice is to believe Karna was silent in DS😊 .
I like the way you brought out agony of that wife whose grief is somewhere lost in perhaps only 1-2 lines of the epic.. whereas unjust happened to her too in a way..then where was justice there...

Well...well...Jamy...😆
Ok...before commenting on the OS...I'd say three things.

Firstly...you should have added another disclaimer...'Drauholics...STAY AWAY for your own mental peace'...🤣

Secondly...if I had written this OS...instead of naming this 'Blasphemous'...I would have named it...'Defiling Draupadi in a new way'...😆

Thirdly...I have a habit of analyzing how people around see my favourite character...Though my assumptions are always right, I was always confused about your perception of Draupadi. But in the past few days, I was getting a feeling on how you actually see Draupadi(despite the YuDi OS)...n this OS confirmed my beliefs...😆

Now coming to the OS...firstly...well-written. 😊
You are one of the best writers in this forum...n u have proved it again with your flawless writing style...Though you excel in the poetic way of writing...personally I like this prose-like style more.
The words...the style...everything is awesome. 👍🏼

I agree with your friends here...I am glad that you being a guy understand female emotions n write on them so well...Being inclined to feminism I am glad that u like n feel so much (which most guys dont do) for all the female characters of the epic...except Draupadi ofcourse.

Bhanumathi is harsh...yet strong n determined. I like that.

And in a way...I am grateful to you that u wrote this OS. It opened my eyes n mind about various things. And the questions that you raised against Draupadi made me think...In other words...I have got a new dimension to my ideals...thanks to this OS.
So I thank you for that. 😊

I am pretty sure that this OS will gain a lot of appreciation n support from the fellow forum members...given the content.

However one question...I did not understand y Bhanumathi smiled in the end. Maybe a few more sarcastic sentences would have made the ending even better...but nonetheless...great writing. 😊

Keep writing...You are indeed a great writer...😊

Edit- There is one paragraph about which I am very confused...😭
But I will ask you in details in PM...maybe...

ya! that's y some of us had doubt abt ur gender.😆 not now..it was before wassap period.😆

I forgot to mention the other one which i loved more and made me to think abt Draupadi. As Bhanu mentioned her proud of her status ..making identity always with royal chain sparkling aroung her neck.Extraordinary one! who is Draupadi actually or what is Draupadi? had she ever discovered herself? Really that made me to think deep.

And I did not add Krishna's offer for the simple reason that it was not needed here. Bhaanumathi must have been unaware about it. yawwk! K-D is something i feel repulsive. except gee's ff. ! personally i feel they both cannot make a pair. karna is not suitable for draupadi and draupadi is not at at suitable for karna😊

Whatever these all may be, thanks a lot for this comment. It made my day!!!😃

Thanks a lot for the appreciation Riti.😊 I was doing night-duty as the guard at Gandhaari's chamber.😉 I am happy learning you felt the fight to be real. I am glad that you liked my Bhaanumathi as well. I am feeling elated knowing your thought that any self-respecting lady would like to know these from Draupadi. It is a really good thing that you have not read Mbh.😉 I too would have admired Draupadi if she had chosen at least once to respond in a proper way! But hse did not. That is why I had to like these SonyDrau and all.😆 Nevertheless, thank you for the lovely words.
