I think he was sort of protecting her. Even though she is an officer she's a lady and i guess ussi hesyat se he told her to wait there. I'm not saying that that is excusable just because she is a lady officer but it just maybe that behind a serious and tough Amit there was a caring one who was sort of looking out for her. And at the end he was angry because she sort of nearly set the criminal free and again we saw his serious and tough side.
But then this is just my opinion.

i agree they r trying to show the softer side of amit and i am loving his character even more😉but i am upset the show is going to end soon why do they do that its just nw we r getting hooked on to it and its ending i hope they come bak with a season soon...😃love u amit😆
