\Majority of the punjabis I know ran with clothes on their back. I know many families whose fathers, brothers were killed and daughters jumped in the well to save honor..

We still think of west punjab as our ancestral home..all the stories and family narratives are linked with the land of Punjab that is part of Pakistan.

See if you are brought up hearing stories of how Punjabis were chased, killed so did me! I have been hearing this since I was a kid! How my relatives died, what Hindus did to them and all...but I never thought all Hindus/Indians are like that! I never took them in a wrong way! I still wanted to be your friend even knowing what some of Indians did to my ancestors!

Moral of the story, we all suffered in a way! Hindu Muslims Sikhs Christians everyone did had to go through all the pain n sacrifices. And I Salute all of them ! We can not reduce our pain but the more we talk about it, the more it will hurt us ! Just leave it behind and move on !

we refers to Indians, not North Indians or South Indians...

It that was true..you would never ever use such sarcastic and patronizing tone..one has to really suffer along side to completely understand what real suffering is..understanding and suffering are two different things..

You yourself said you are Dravidian ..south Indian..just wondering why..why didn't you say you were Indian..nothing wrong with it..it is clear you are trying portray something different than what you think you are..

Read your first post in which you said muslim's were killed that is why call you call your missiles Gori and Ghazni at least Sikhs and hindus were allowed to go home but muslims were killed.

Actually killing started under Jinah direct action before partition..

They are not just stories..in Pakistan 98% of population is Muslims rest were ethnic cleansed. Hardly any Sikhs remain in Pakistan, a few converted due to fear that they will be killed. Lucknow and UP still have many crores of muslims.

I got the facts from 'The Times' a neutral newspaper

It is very obvious from your first post that you are taught wrong history. I would surely like to visit Pakistan one day..to visit the land of my ancestors. I agree this was senseless partition (my opinion) and killings and British are responsible for break down of law and order..

Your saying that Hindus and Sikhs were able to leave without being killed was very wrong. To elevate the invader and plunders Gori and Gazni to the position of hero is also wrong.

I am glad we were able to discuss this in more or less decent fashion..I really appreciate your reasonable approach to the subject..

Peace..

Sikhs
are r very well protected in Punjab Pakistan
But thing about Jinah is not right
Yeh he was born with a sliver spoon :/ can I get the Article about that?
Our main problem is the government who r taking money and not even leading pakistan.
Taliban is not in Punjab because there views are very very diff from our view. Alot of Minorities are not treated best because Politician want votes from Poor mulisms who have never read anything on there own and take other peoples opinions as fact
