It is evident that Soyab is far better singer but somehow I am beginning to feel Chaitanya does have some clout with TCT. He seems to be getting more attention and protection. I maybe wrong. Let’s see. If he stays to top 5 then I will be convinced of my notion 😃

I wish the dress designing team also does some mix and match and change everyone’s dress style - contestants and captains!!! I sometimes feel like they give them the same clothes in different colors or change a bit of the same outfit for the next episodes.

Pawandeep was definitely not trying yesterday. I have also noticed how he takes a backseat when performing duets with the kids. Contrastingly, Arunita usually seems like she's the competitor when singing with kids.

I think the focus on Chetanya has more to do with his popularity among SM audience than anything else. Because he wasn't really highlighted initially, but suddenly they're trying to keep him safe. TCT might have noticed that he brings in audience.

So true about the costumes. I'm glad someone else mentioned it because I was starting to get annoyed. I feel like everyone has worn the same thing just in different colors Rituraj must be tired of jumpsuits. Aryananda wears the same frock every week. Mani's mom would lose business if she keeps stitching the same types of clothes Hate the styling on this show. Usually with other shows I can figure out who performed what act on which episode based on their costumes alone, but here everyone is wearing the same thing every week, it's impossible 🤪

Pawandeep really does downplay when singing duet with kids. He is singing duet with Samir’s today and it looks amazing and Samaira does have a very beautiful voice. So true about the clothes everyone is wearing same style every week except for the colors.

I think they announced that todays performances will not be graded. No competition today or something like that but they did give the Duniya hiladi (DHD) stamps. Wonder if there will be medals and elimination on Sunday. True. Dhd given randomly once again to save them from elimination? Also was Dev Anand Special with guest Zeenat Aman, ok fine. Why makers didn’t invite Devji’s son who was an actor few years back like they do with Amit Kumar in Kishore Kumar special?

Samira and Arunita: I loved this performance. Definitely Samiara’s best so far. She stood out in her performance and didn’t let Arunita overshadow her. I think so far of all Aru’s duets with the kids, Samira did the best. I liked her take on the song and her kiddish voice suited it.
Since it’s a kid show I do have a bias towards the younger kids 😊

Nasal singing which she needs to come out of it. Needs another 2-3 years before participating in singing reality shows. My opinion

Rituraj: I think this was his weakest performance. I personally did not like it. Not growing on me

Rohan; An entertainer as always. I like how he feels all the lyrics and sings. I liked it and if it was up to me, I would give him the DHD stamp.

Brilliant as an entertainer but need to get trained in singing. As an entertainer he will go far especially in stage shows.

Pratyush: Looking forward to the day they stop making these horrible dishes and presenting to guests! He is obviously not the one making those dishes. And please put him in some normal clothes!!! As far as singing goes, he is still on the bottom of my list and even though he sings in tune, I am not a fan of his style of singing.

Another one I cannot connect. His voice neither male or female. Give a break atm. Participate when his voice changes. Agree he needs to change his clothes. Fed up of the drama of calling himself chef. Overrated

Sayisha and Sayli: I love the confidence in this girl. She makes the song her own and sings it lovingly. Becoming my favorite with each episode 😊. Sayisha being the youngest among the contestants is the best out of them all. A clear winner but don’t know whose name makers have chosen as a winner. Last night she deserved dhd but didn’t get it. When they both singing together, Sayisha drowned Sayli’s voice 😆

Pranjal: He sings well and has a unique style but it is becoming repetitive. He sings all the songs the same way. And TCT, please stop making him into a godman! He is a kid. Let him be and enjoy.

Same type of singing. Nothing new. No experiments. Over hyped. Another nasal singer in my opinion.

Mani: He sang out of syllabus and TCT made it to sound like it’s Zeenat’s request! But personally, Jiya Dhadak Dhadak is one of my favorites and for me he did not do justice to the song. So ‘not up-to par’ in my books on this song!

He can be better if they drop his sob story and stop keep reminding just not him but audience also. Give him proper training instead.

Aryananda and Pawandeep: Today for the first time I liked her in parts of the song. I think if she gets a few more duets with Pawan or gets solo songs she can do better. Vishwaja : Overall good. Best performance so far and got a chance to sing solo.

About Rituraj, Few episodes back, either. Rohan or Prityush said Rituraj don’t wear underwear, 😆 since then, when he comes on stage, first thing which comes to my mind is - is he or isn’t he? 🤣

Sunday 19th June 2022 - RD Burman Special

Aruna, Danish, Vishwaja, Chetanya. "Male singers ke gaanon ko..." - Aruna didn't like that quip. But she modulated her voice well for this song. Having said that, I would like to see them give her more normal songs. Vishwaja seemed off when she started. Chetanya - good attempt. But with so many singers in one song, it is difficult to review individuals. I don't like this at all. It is unfair to Aruna who didn't get a performance yesterday while the other two did. And praise for Danish's team once again - I mean, really?

Sayisha with Rohan. What was that? Stopping in between? There was no sign of nervousness or fear - so it mush have been scripted. But wow! This is a good pair. For a kids' show, this is the kind of pairing we need. I felt both did very well, but Sayisha was better. Of course I am already biased as she is one of my favourites in this show. Having said that, it was a rather long performance that they got to give - 3 songs!

Rituraj and Pratyush. Was it just me, or did Rituraj have better voice modulation on Pratyush? The first song is peppy, so that song carried the day for both of them - but it did appear Rituraj was slightly better than Pratyush.

Faiz with Sayli. They were not in sync in the first song when they had to sing together. Was it lack of preparation or just a case of two singers not gelling well? Faiz, I felt, did much better in the second song than the first. Maybe he has a style that suits some songs.

Mani. TCT really needs to stop reminding him of his background before every performance! That is like rubbing it in every week! His performance was really good. So good to see him do well in a different style of song. And given his natural voice, it felt that the mood of the song was captured. Anil Kapoor's act - already commented on when the promo released. Good to see them giving Mani's mom a modern sewing machine - but then, are they going to be able to afford the electricity?

Pranjal. I think TCT is really doing an injustice to him but not providing him proper guidance. Talent is being wasted by not guiding him to capture the mood of the song as the original singer had in mind. He sang well as far as singing is concerned, but Kishore Kumar's original is so different in the mood.

Samaira with PD. So many memories of Idol - with that song, where it all started! But Samaira did really well, I felt. I think this weekend she has done so much better than her previous performances.

Arunita and Pawandeep. Well - that left us wanting more! That was too short! If TCT believes this pair is what brings them the TRP, then they need to do justice to them. This was far too short - and it was what we have already seen in the promos. But that performance - wow! As I said earlier, this was an yet another showcase of Arunita's versatility. And PD great as usual. I hope someday they either sing this song in a concert or do a cover and release a YT video! Even the Byju's ad was exceptionally done by PD.

Please give update on elimination, medals and team of the week. I couldn't watch this week's episode.
