If 27th is RD Burman day, then why couldn't they wait a week for this episode? They barely managed to scrap together 5 mins for KK tribute last week, par ab RDB day ek hafte pehle hi mana rahe hai

It's really nice to see the interchange of captains and contestants. I wish to see Faiz-PD duet. The two duets we've seen from them have been amazing. Also, more of Sayisha-Rohan please! They were so good together. I think Kiara managed to restrain herself from saying they look made for each other but it was understood 🤣

About the performances -

Why did Chetanya and Vishwaja have to join Aruna's performance? She could have done fine on her own. Vishwaja sounded off in the beginning. Chetanya was trying too hard. It became a blended mess tbh. Also how is it Danish ke Dabangg with Vishwaja, while Arya isn't there? Humko bhi confuse kar rahe hai ye log.

Sayisha was amazing with Rohan. Both did well, but the gap between them was so obvious. Sayisha captures the expressiveness of the song so well with her voice, whereas Rohan just sings in a single tone while expressing on his face 🤪 But their voices complement each other beautifully. I enjoyed it a lot.

Rituraj stood out starkly from Pratyush. Especially in Ek Ladki ko Dekha. I want to hear a solo performance from him on this song now Pratyush destroyed it with his unnecessary quips. But he was fine in the first song.

Sayli could as well have sung alone There wasn't much space for Faiz to shine. Plus, they messed up the sync in the first song. Looked unrehearsed and it didn't suit Faiz's voice. He seemed to be taken aback especially towards the end in the lalala segment. But he did well in the second song. Although, yet another example of how Faiz's voice doesn't match with a female partner.

One of my favorite solos from Mani. He sang it beautifully, with the right variations and expressions. Skipped through AK's drama, but I love Varun for extending his help. He's done this on earlier shows, and afaik, has kept his promise.

I don't think I need to review Pranjal every week because there's literally nothing new. He sang in his own style and that's it.

Samaira is starting to creep up to my top favorites. Her voice might still be childish, but she sings so well. Pawandeep was more involved today, but still let Samaira shine, and she did.

The PD-Aru duet was too short to review or even enjoy. But still got goosebumps when PD started 😊

Anyways, the hyperactivity from the guests is definitely due to TCT lol. This same trio was on DDJ yesterday and they were pretty well-behaved. But what were they doing here??! 🤪 TCT has got a good portfolio to show Ekta Kapoor 🤡

From this week's behavior, looks like Aruna and Soyeb are the next targets for elimination. Faiz and Aryananda seem to follow, though I don't think the show's letting go off them or it'd loose half its audience.

Arunita and Aryananda were supposed to sing a duet but they didn’t even telecast it 🤦🏽‍♀️
it would have been nice to hear them in a duet. Wonder why they didn’t telecast it. Instead they showed too much unnecessary drama with Rituraj and Mani.

Wow! This would have been one of Aryananda's top performances to date! And Arunita is just so good - as she was when she sang this in Idol!

Now this explains that sudden out of context comment about the strumming rhythm from Javed Ali - in response to which HR said his song is based on that. Which means the blockheads cut this performance so that could show those two songs that HR sang right after this! 😡😡

Danish & Co :- didn’t like at all. Apart from a case of ‘ too many chefs’…. Vishwaja was off at the start, Danish went off too at the very first line. Chaitanya never works for me. Aruna was ok. Overall a chaotic mess. 👎🏽

Sayisha -Rohan :- this was an apt blending of perfect notes & good entertainment. Together , they were delightful. Kids at their best. 👍. Loved this. The songs selected were so apt for them. Sayisha as usual was awesome. 👌

Rituraj - Pratyush :- wrong pairing. Rituraj easily stole the scene, making it so obvious that Pratyush is the weaker one.

Sayli -Faiz :- Didn’t work for me, esp since Faiz didn’t seem to gel with Sayli. His second song, as pointed out , was better. But I wonder what the prob is with Faiz when it comes to duets? With Aru, we had the impression that he was intimidated by her; but even here he was not in his element. I am still waiting for the Faiz of the audition & Grand Premiere.
Mani - The song blended so well with his voice. He did full justice. 👍 This boy has talent in spades 👍. So TCT, pl stop about harping about his background & let the kid grow through this platform.

Pranjal :- he approaches every song like a boat song - though the lyrics of Aanewala are profound there is a light-hearted feel to it. He stresses on certain notes, esp while rounding off the lines in a bid to make it intense. He never gets it right, unless it is a heavy number. Didn’t enjoy.

Samaira - PD :- another good number from Samaira. This weekend belonged to her. PD as usual,allowing just enough of him & making room for the child. 👍💕

Aru-Pawan :- much awaited. In fact by that time I feared that they had cut it altogether. So, finally, we got a glimpse - just a glimpse of what could’ve been! Don’t we know!!! Ye dil maange more…. 💕

Asides:-

* At the risk of turning this into an Arudeep forum…🙏, is there anything that they can do together that doesn’t touch your heart? Byjus should forget all other ads with anybody else - captains or otherwise - and just retain them as brand ambassadors. 😃. I wonder why no other brands have signed them up together yet! Must be the Sony contract.

* So TCT has graduated to 4-in-1 now. 😡. What next? Two teams together with their captains? They can have the theme of the School Assembly! 🙄

* The guests were high on energy throughout - sometimes even distracting the viewers from the performances.
* wish they had cut AK’s Saxo Act, his overacting on Mani story, encore of O Haseena, HRs usual numbers…. & given us all the other edited segments & yes, more of Arudeep’s Rangi sari …. Oh well…. Wishes are not horses. 😔

Faiz: I wonder if he is going through his teenage boy phase where he is uncomfortable with women. He needs to overcome whatever is the problem impacting him.

PD: he just seems to have some knack of letting the kid shine! Every kid so far has done very well when singing with him!

Byjus ad - I loved also the unplugged singing by PD!

All contracts just got extended by 1 year. Or I should say most. I think they dropped Nihal, Nachiket, Anjali. So PD, Arunita, Sayli, Danish, SMP, Ashish, Sawai - for 1 more year at least.
