Nope, this is not about the episode.

Though I did like the episode, like few other episodes in this season, it reminded me of the early SPN days. It was creepy. I like creepy. 😆 I do forget from time to time that Supernatural also does come under the horror genre. So NEVER eat while watching the show., Trust me.

'When in doubt, EAT' - Dean Winchester.

^The wisest words ever. Plus Sam declined chocolate cake. Sammy, I love you but NO ONE declines chocolate cake. Its just not right.

Cole, and you don't get to call Sam Sammy. So just don't :| Though he called Dean Deano, plus the tuesday reference and that reminded me of Gabriel, and then I went on tumblr and ofcorse there were people who felt the same way 😆 SPN fans and over analyzing will never stop :P

Parallels, foreshadowing, this season was full of it. But what is all of that going to actually add up to ?

Back to the topic.

I guess everyone knows about Jared's always keep fighting campaign to help people cope up with mental illness. It just got over a few mins ago and it has sold over 46,000 , isn't that awesome. Supernatural fandom never ceases to amaze me, and talking about that, from what I kept seeing on tumblr was that there are SO many people [ believe me, a LOT of them] who brought the stuff for others, some perfect strangers cause they could not afford it. I had not really seen this kind of a thing before and nor was I expecting it. Thus it did leave me awed. So cheers to the SPN fandom.

Oh and yes, Jensen joining twitter was AWESOME and Jared joining facebook just made it better. So who hasn't seen do watch his adorable videos on fb. They are awesome.

The whole buying for each other is what makes u believe in humanity. The most beautiful thing is it came from nowhere. Jared started the campaign and people started volunteering to buy for each other. Jared realised it just yesterday what was going on lol. You just need to give people a reason to fight and they will take it to the end in no time. I think Jared broke the record. Sold 46000 shirts when his target was just 10000. Guy has no idea what they are capable of doing lol 😆

Coming to the show, for once in a long time I was ok with Sam being quiet through the epi. Those expressions awww it was killing me. He felt so helpless listening to Dean and trying to work yet keeping it all inside. It was enough for me.Dean is so badly trying to prepare Sam. Its like season 3 again.

Also loved how he didnt let Dean eat the cake. rofl. Sam is guarding Dean like a watch dog now. If he could he would just lock Dean in the bunker 😆

Also once in my life I wanted Winchesters to fail. I was like damn Sam should have stayed with Cole.😆 Why do these usless character gets a free pass and characters like Cain dies for no freaking reason.

So, first about the campaign. Its not something no one has ever done before, you know? But there's just something about the SPN cast that makes your chest swell with pride for being one in the fandom. We all know and mutually agree on what an incredible team Supernatural is blessed to have but I'd like to talk about Jared a little. I think my admiration for this guy grows each day because he's just one of us. He's not a star, not a celebrity, not a man of importance but just a regular guy with his own share of struggles trying to reach out and do whatever he can to help others who might be in need. I'm just incredibly proud this show and its people. <3

Coming back to the episode, it had all the elements that striked up a cord with me, from the episode being about mental illness/depression/suicide or Dean licking off the cream off his finger. So, I quite liked the episode.

PS The fandom coming together to help each other, buying t-shirts for people they don't even know and contributing whatever little they can to make a difference to other's lives, its just all very heart-warming. :')

I go through the tumblr supernatural tags once atleast in few days, and ofcorse its always full. But since the campaign started ,I kept seeing posts about how the show in its own ways make people cope with depression, how much the cause means to them, personally and how much a small ' It will be fine' can be worth, then there were people who couldn't personally afford the shirts and SO SO many people came up to help them, buy it for them. They did not have any stake, any gain from it, but still they did. That genuinely made me happy , and awed. I don't know about believing in humanity as a whole, but it surely did make me believe in good, and good people.

His target was 1000 shirts and he sold 46,000+ and yes breaking the earlier record😆

I knew this would be successful, cause the SPN fandom ofcorse, but this cause did proof like you said, when you give people a reason to fight, they will come through, and they did.

HAWW he did not let Dean eat the chocolate cake, no less. That was cruel. Atleast it wasn't pie :P

I will not believe that Cain is dead. There HAS to be a reason they did not show Dean actually killing him :|

Why is Cole alive ? Ehh beats me.

I wished Cole die in the end. Isn't that saying something ? 😆 He is one of those ignorant smartass that annoys the living hell out of me. Besides Sam is too paranoid to think who is calling him what right now 😆

Am I the only one who didn't want Cole to die? 😳 I mean, yeah, he's one over-smart idiot who once tried to kill Dean but he's not a bad guy, you know? And sometimes, I think even I get tired of watching people just die on this show for nothing and nothing at all. Also, if Dean had failed to save Cole, he did take it on himself again (like in Charlie's case) and that'd do him no good. I'd like the Winchesters to have people around who wouldn't fancy visiting them but would come running if they're ever in need of help. After this episode, Cole can be counted in.

I felt bad for Sammy though, poor him, took Kit's death personally.

IKR, in one of his facebook videos, where he was talking about giving a personalized letter to a fan, and then he was like' err why would anyone want anything written in my handwriting. ' That was adorable.

Like you said, behind the Jared Padalecki starring as Sam Winchester, he makes us see him as just 'Jared'. A guy who deals with his own problems, a guy who wants to spread a few more smiles and help few more people. I am so incredibly fond of this guy, and when he does stuff like this, its just makes me more and more proud.

Another thing I liked was the creepy horror factor in the show, which is not really present in the latter seasons was seen here. Though it ruined my breakfast :|
