How very true. Shallow, superficial writing, failing on issues over and over, stretching exactly the wrong tracks and rushing or curtailing what would be interesting (Yu-Su wedding; why was there a wedding then?Why couldn't they stay apart, miss each other, meet, and have a bit of fun? STUPID half-baked event, while stupider GaAdi get grand celebrations. Hadd ho gayi, cvs, partiality ki) Crimes treated like child's play, serious social problems used for trps, and then messed up. Now this molestation thing has become a joke. It's impact on Pankaj is the only real thing about it, but as du says, it will not be seen through, it will be forgotten and treated lightly, like someone spilled a drink on him and it's easy to get over.
And yes, that ship sailed long ago where any of the evils had any reason worth the name to hate Suhani. I suppose one could see it as hate begetting hate. Daadi hates Suhani for challenging her or because she feels threatened by her (an inferiority complex disguised as a superiority complex. arch can correct me if I'm wrong, but a superiority complex often just covers up a sense of inferiority). But to go after Pankaj with the vengeance she's showing just makes no sense. WHY? Does she really believe Gauri so absolutely? Or is it that she thinks if Pankaj can be made guilty Yuvraj will dump Suhani? We've discussed her narcissism before, her total disregard for her favourite's happiness, as long as her ends are achieved, but going to the jail and pushing him over the edge is too disgusting to digest.
RagsMen's attitude can only be described as senseless. They are dimwits with no life, and I like the idea that they could at least be shown to envy what this supposedly plain girl has which they don't. Added to which the actresses are so bloody annoying, either's face makes me want to do something violent. And either opening her painted mouth makes me want to just strangle them to death.
So right, honeylime--dadi did at least as bad a thing as this so-called molestation. I didn't see Yuvraj or anyone's reaction when they found her out, but obviously it's barely impacted their respect for her. That is just galling as hell. Her behaviour is repugnant--she has no class, no culture, and she dares to act like she's the Queen of Sheba, because everyone lets her.
Same here, arch. I'm so tired that I fast-forward more than half the epi, but have to sometimes go back to figure out wth is going on. Rest of your post too can only agree, agree, agree.
du, honey, I still feel this show is much better than the rest, but I don't want it to die with a whimper, which is what will happen if the cvs continue their trend. I rather it went off with a bang, but that's not happening either, at least not the bang bit. Right now, because I took a break, my patience isn't worn thin, so even when I find the episodes boring or disgusting, I can tolerate them. But I've been at a stage when I seriously want to kill someone for the crap they show. Sorry, Lavina and everyone else, I understand your attachment, because I have it too, to some extent, but it's like having a close friend/relative who's very sick. If such a person doesn't or can't get better, then hard as it may be, I would wish for their death.
