Agree DU!!! As a fan, i'm very much disappointed after seeing today's episode...IDK why they're in a hurry to finish all the dance in a single episode...their scenes were not connected...very poor editing...

I was like while watching the epi today...seems like they're very much in a hurry to move the things sooner to BH again...omg...so much of DaRagMen today...their leads were shown for 5 mins only (except the song performance) and yeah u're right...SaRaj's performance was great during the OLV...today it was only average for me...

I am totally bored of D-R-M trio. So true, they have no other dimensions or facets as human beings. Today, it looked like a patchwork of scenes put together until they can jump to the next dadi-rag-men melodrama...😕 The editors seem to have taken time off since Jan... and the holiday continues!!

I know. They wanted to do Sooraj Bharjatiya-types family sangeet but it turned out be a amateurish road side play! These kind of things bring TRPs, so I don't know why they want to rush this up?!😕 Celebrations, family functions = TRPs. Ask YRKKH😆 I don't get this super mad rush, have they borrowed the decor from some other show and now have to return it?

Also, I don't get why are they rushing the wedding in the first place?

Dadi could've just said, " I don't want you together. I'll give you 6 months, even after that you want to be together, then I'll agree to your marriage". Bas! Simple. They can slowly build Y-S relation and at the same time have Dadi plot and plan. Have you seen the new segment? Them getting married @ a mass wedding?! Is that what they do? after giving a confession like that?!

The confession made me feel better INSPITE of the (non) realization... but the CVs are upto their usual tricks again...🤢

I have upped my expectations after confession. I felt they seem to have started remembering how good they made the show initially... but nope! It's same old, same old or even worse now.

Honestly ... as I had mentioned previously, I have seriously lowered my standards as far as SSEL goes, and wasn't even gonna say anything... but this post is just for SAHIL AND RAJSHRI...I feel really really bad for them!! ( and you are not biased sweetie... Sahil Mehta, Rajshri Rani Pandey ARE Suhani si ek ladki !! 👏) Such good actors, such amazing chemistry which can be cute,sweet, innocent , naughty or hot...depending on the scene-- they raise the script and scenes by their mere presence, inspite of the CVs best efforts...

They dangle the carrot by showing their potential and then give us a royal kick in the ass. But, seriously, how long can we continue watching for Sahil-Rajshri? People are only sticking out of loyalty/liking towards them. And bearing all the ups and downs of Yuvraj-Suhani's characters. If not for them, who'd stick around for 400 episodes and still lap up such blunders and antics?

Why are the CVs and Star plus such idiots?? Star Plus is busy promoting shows with substandard content and actors who share 1/2 an expression between them ( won't take any names... I'm sure every show has its fan following and don't really wanna hurt anyone) and ignoring a show that has a great cast and WAS different ( can't really make THAT claim now😕)

Why just Star Plus? Even forum activity is so low here. Why? People are moving away from the show... they have held off the realization (not even confession)for too long. Leads are never focused upon. And What they focus(trio) is not great content either...

When they finally did something right by giving Yuvraj screen space and story, SP doesn't promote! I'm glad Colours has taken over Star Plus. It's step-motherly treatment towards shows is irritating and annoying.

And CVs... your biggest strength is YUVANI and SaRaj... they are the reason why most of us tune in daily... and you ignore/ sideline them for your faltu melodrama... NEWSFLASH - NOBODY IS INTERESTED IN YOUR DADI/RAGS/MEN/SNAKY etc etc ka shenanigans... Please understand it before your show crashes and burns!!

Universally agreed point. 😆 If you want to show more of your favourites, atleast give them some exciting personality.

SSEL is truly a self made show... the CINDERELLA of Star Plus... with absolutely no support from the channel OR occasionally even their CVs, editors etc...

MWAH Sahil and Rajshri... for holding the SSEL ship afloat!! 🤗 You guys certainly deserve better!! 👏

They do but they are not getting it. So sad. But thanks for the super fun off and on screen you guys provided. ⭐️

I thought they've deliberately built up their story slowly. But now I think they did it to prolong love story and stretch it as much as possible. Because, no sane writer would rush things at this point - a peak - in the story.

But they are on a fast gear to wedding... no sooner had he confessed , BAM! marriage in 3 days! This is the time they should've taken it slow and built their relationship... marriage could wait... par nahi... make mess.

next track is yuvani dying and leaving behind their kala kids for dadi to give up for adoption. But she doesn't end up doing that and ends up loving them. And then come december we see a hot looking modern su who wears hot outfits and is thin but thinks that poor ppl are below her. and I get my new guy for new hot su. Hahahaha

du, a_a, very valid posts and great points. Benazir too, and everyone who found editing poor. They canned too much and didn't put it together optimally.

Their pacing sucks. It's an inverse of how it should be. Too much time spent on scenes you want to ff, and express speed through what needs more attention. You talk about random shots of Yuvraj and Suhani yesterday, but that happens all the time with less justification. At least Yu and Su's shots were meant to show they were happy-shappy. There're often pointless scenes inserted that take away from the main story, interrupting flow. Kriya or the Radhe-Rakhi or their family scenes. Stupid bickering between RagsMen.

I still feel that the Yuvraj declaration at the wedding was spoilt by their wasting time on things which made little difference. Why wasn't that time taken for Yuvraj's processing of his feelings and reactions? They could've used the dupatta scene--I mean the dupatta he kept, thinking it was snaky's. There are so many scenes where he seemed attracted, affectionate. I'm thinking of your vm too, du, and the scenes you inserted. Sanjana's vms. He should've started with Sharad's question and processed all that. What was that stupid dream? Zero impact.

I too found yesterday's episode like an amateur concert that had to be wrapped up in quick time. It was okay, but apart from enjoying Anuj-Menka, nothing remarkable. BQ's giving me serious creeps though. You talk of editing--what was that with Bhavna in T and open hair doing performance one minute, the next restored to original dress and hairstyle?

WHAT did they do to Sahil's singing? He was good in the olv, he sounded terrible here--was he trying to sound like Su's favourite AB who can't carry a tune except with a lot of help? Raj's voice started off as a relief, but soon that too became one in a tuneless roar. Just give them rehearsals and they'd be great. I was so disappointed. Choice of song stupid. 'Ek din aayega pyar ho jaega?' Why not Chhu kar mere Man Ko?

This new olv of the mass wedding is so turning off. Why? What for--for cheap plotting-planning and giving trp aunties heart attack?

But just like SP doesn't seem to value ssel, the cvs are not using these two properly for long tracts of time. And I don't mean as in showing more of them, but effective use of them. I appreciate the Sahil scenes from the time he came to Su's house, but did that actually make sense? Did butchering Yuvraj earlier make sense? It's not just X no of scenes or so many doses of the chemistry that can kill. It's remembering these are the main leads. If a storyline needs just them, no need to randomly insert snaky, BQ, RagaMen or even Sharad /Pratima. Let it be organic--not just "YuvAni", which I feel is sop thrown too often, but handling all the characters wisely.

And I can't respect writers who make the colossal boo-boos that these have--there's a long list, but better not start on it. I'm tired of the excuse that it happens in all serials or sundry such. They are mindless shortcuts and not good writing, contempt for viewers, laziness.

And I'm developing an allergy to cute banters and nok-jhok. Overused means to show interaction when more is needed. This level of communication makes me wonder if this is directed at teenagers on the one hand and trp aunts on the other. Teasing and silly arguments have their place, but not at the cost of practically nothing more.
