Many thanks for the quite heart-warming replies to this post. This post wasn't directed at an isolated post rather was in response to numerous posts (and replies).

I normally don't tend to engage in such posts as I don't want to amplify their voices but this was one of those situations where a post was warranted. If my post is being tagged, slotted under the "feminism" banner then so be it but I think it is merely having respect and common decency...equality to not be "dissed" "bashed" "discriminated against on one's appearance or anything for that matter.

And it is quite endearing that there are some who are showing concern for Rajshri's "sporadic weight" but rest assured she is an adult grown woman and "IF" there is a underlying medical issue, she'd be seeking treatment. On that note, couldn't find a similar post on the actor who plays Anuj as he seems to looking pretty unwell these days as well?

It's interesting the "self proclaimed" "instigator" of this post and few other posts is saying that "I waged...leaving you to wage your war". To put it rather crudely, people like this fling sh...t. They throw things out there and try to get something to stick..pretty interesting way to get their kick!

Waging a war...on the contrary, there was no finger pointing, no accusations, no leaving forum vowing never to come back (okay that bit may be overly dramatic) in any of the replies to this post rather it was an open healthy discussion of a very prevalent issue. So I guess this "waging a war" did not go as planned perhaps.

Freedom of speech was mentioned in my post and one other...can I say under the so called banner of "freedom of speech" let's not use it to erode the very freedom we claim to value. Whether the intent of "the posts" was to discriminate or not, it still perpetuates all of the harmful myths attached to the perception of beauty. Rajshri may not even be reading such posts but it certainly does make an indelible impact on women and how we live.

Phew..glad to get that off my chest and stay happy guys!

hear...hear!! could not have said it better. Amazing amazing post and even more poignant reply 👏👏
