Reading the recent posts on Rajshri/Suhani's appearance leaves me frankly quite sad. And I certainly am all for freedom of speech but in my humble opinion Rajshri is a beautiful girl and soul but in saying that however clich it may sound I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

What was incredibly appalling was that these posts were made by women and it seems like a vicious cycle that never ends with women doing this to each other but all it does is give society to have power over women!

We are constantly barraged on social media, magazines about what defines beauty and we as women are reinforcing this by insulting other women on their appearance and looks!!

The posts are vicious, petty and it made me sick to the stomach reading it. Rajshri is a fresh breath both in talent and looks in an industry that is so consumed by superficiality. All I can say is that women are getting all these messages in virtually every form of media on what one should look like and then project those ideas on other women, constantly perpetuating the cycle.

This really needs to stop!

totally agree with u. honestly I actually feel bad about these comment as a person coz I am reading it and thinking about it and internalizing them and I am like do people really think this way? I made that Rajshri post and I felt very uncomfortable doing it I don't normally feel like that when opening a post but I think it is a sensitive issue and we should not hide from it but neither should we mock and make snide comments about the person. I opened up a can of worms but I was abit tired of snide remarks at her but truly I did not want to offend any1, I hope I didn't i only offend beggars and snaky. I know some of suhani/ rajshri fans and I include myself in that category are actually the same height, built, colour and nature as her. If I insult her I insult her fans my friends and I would not want to do that but we love Rajshri no matter what size she is and it is unconditional so dnt care what any1 else says about her. but I still think she should lose a few pounds

I completely agree with u Megs dr,this society today talks a lot about the ideas of feminism and modernistic ideas but people are not reinforcing it within themselves, most people consider that a girl with a good looking face nd who is fair will increase the ambience of the place but it is not if as such beauty matters only to a certain extent ,but is the nature as well as the wonderful character of a self determine their presence and I completely even hate those people commenting on women's dark complexion and making insulting posts regarding their looks,it is highly a nasty work,I never ever encourage these things.

agree...
our society has these issues...

why can't they see her character which is so good?
colour doesn't reflect one's character...if one talks about being fair is all beauty, it reflects their shit mindset...

even if we are dark, we are god's children...everything given by nature...so ppl must learn to respect that

and megs, your post is great, it has raised one of the great issues in our society

I watch SSEL with my parents sometimes and the 3 of us together praise Rajshri and my dad says she has a charm and my mom loves her eyes, and I think she's the most beautiful girl on TV next only to my other favorite, Sriti Jha

It is true Sree as per bible it says "God created everyone by his own appearance" it means we all look like God,we have to be the most proud people in the world becz we resemble god in some or the other way hence what ever complexion it is we must accept it,even most of my friends choose their friends by colour, even one day one of my friend told me that she has made me my her bestie becz I have a fair complexion,I just gave her a tight slap and ended all her ties with her, everyone are equal everyone r lovely ,we must accept people as they are.I have mentioned words from Bible becz I knew only those ,hence people I took it as an example only but not to project anyother thing,if I have mentioned anything wrong ,pls do apologise me.
