Hi ! Sorry for the late update , Easter Break ended in the UK and now I'm back to work , I have exams soon , studies on my head and so I never got the time to update !! I'm not a true unicorn đ anyway enjoy this update !!
"Suhani ...what for" Lata asked, concerned.
"Maa, you know the state of my marriage soon I will have no house to live in- so before I'm homeless I need to buy an accommodation"
Lata's eyes swelled with tears "beta where will you get the money from"
"Dad- Mrs Birla pays me 1000 rupees each day because I cook for that family since their bahus can't cook themselves" Suhani wiped her tears
"Bas Maa , no more tears - save the ones left in your eyes for happiness ."
Suhani smiled , thinking of Bhavna and her future baby.
"Suhani .."
"Maa , I shall take your leave"
"But the loan , your papa will be here soon "
"Nahi Maa the bank won't give me the loan , my daily income is too less , I shall look for a flat to rent , that will be a more realistic option"
Suhani left, clutching her handbag . She was hurt seeing her mother like this but she promised herself that one day , she shall make her proud.
Yuvraaj parked outside Suhani's parents' house. He looked the passenger seat which was full presents . He carried them to the door only to find it open with a saddened Lata sulking . He dropped all the presents "maa what happened??"
Lata looked at him with tears and smiled .
"She will make me proud " and held on to Yuvraaj . After a few seconds she realised what she was doing and let go of him.
"Beta , take these presents , when it is yours and Saumya's wedding , accept these from us "
"But maa"
"Beta"
Yuvraaj got it . He needed to leave . He politely said bye to Lata and left .
*few hours later*
Suhani was busy tidying Pratima's room. Her gaze fell on the laptop .
"I better give this back to him " Suhani thought to herself and she turned around , facing Yuvraaj
"Why are you here , don't you know how to knock " Suhani struggled to look at him in his eyes . She turned away from him .
"Suhani , I have something for you"
" I don't want it "
Yuvraaj showed Suhani a box .
"Suhani , it's a laptop . For your computer course and online recipes "
Suhani looked at him .
"How did you kno-"
Yuvraaj interrupted her by putting his finger on her lips and getting close to her
"I know you read and watch online recipes and you are doing an online computer course . You will need a fast computer to help"
"I can't take this "
"Accept it , from me "
"Fine , I will accept it as a friend "
Yuvraaj smiled and gazed into her eyes , getting lost in her . Suhani , wanting to leave the awkward conversation, left the room .
"We are more than friends" Yuvraaj chuckled to himself .
